Super busy area and if you want to walk out the door to shops and dining this is perfect. Hotel is very clean and excellent staff. Bar in hotel was shut down during our stay but with so many options nearby it wasn't an issue. Most restaurants nearby dont begin breakfast until 730am just fyi. Street noise late at night when bars are shutting down but thats to be expected in this area.

Magnifique hôtel, idéalement situé dans le centre de Paris. L'accueil y est excellent, le sauna très agréable (manque juste quelques boissons à disposition dans l'espace de repos). We absolutely LOVED this hotel. From the location, the hospitality, the decor, and cleanliness it was absolutely perfect. Let's talk about hospitality. Isaline, the front desk attendant went above and beyond to assist with all our needs. She really made our stay memorable. The location of the hotel is right in front of the metro "Hotel Deville." It was perfect. The area is hip and surrounded by restaurants, bars, boutique shops. The are is LGBTQ friendly. The hotel is clean, and unique in design. They have a breakfast buffet, and a self serve bar. I LOVE IT. Everytime I go to Paris, this is my new spot.

Nice hotel, especially for middle of paris, walking distance to seine and notre dame, affordable, modern Went to gym in the morning, Sauna had been running all night, so not high on environment Did not use breakfast, basic continental breakfast Gym is reasonably equiped, I do yoga, the floor was so slippery it was impossible, there was yoga mat but was also sliding on the floor, gave up Bit of noise from the street in hotel room (first floor facing the street)

Hotel is super clean and very nice, small cozy rooms but very modern bathrooms, fast elevator, staff is attentive, location is great, close to great restaurants and train lines for quick travel. Ideal for LGBT tourists as the area has fun LGBT bars.

I stayed here over two nights a week apart in December. I was lucky enough to score a single room on each occasion - I imagine in-season rooms here are like gold dust. The location, smack in the middle of the Marais, and the hotel is in great condition with lots of lovely touches: a brilliant, deceiving expansive lobby, a nicely stocked and beautiful honesty bar, comfortable beds and nice finishing in the room and a super front of house. I don’t expect I’ll easily land a room here again but I would jump at the chance.

Lite og koselig hotel som ligger i et av Paris beste områder for shopping og restaurant besøk. Det ble derimot et skår i gleden da vi første kvelden/natta oppdaget at rommet var fullt av sølvkre og skjeggkre... veldig ubehagelig... Vi ba derfor om å få bytte rom, noe mannen i resepsjonen var veldig behjelpelig med. Ulempen ble da at vi måtte nedgradere til et mindre rom (fra suite til dobbeltrom m/sovesofa) så det ble litt mindre plass de neste tre nettene når vi var tre stykker som skulle være der. Hotellet ordnet også med refusjon av mellomlegget mellom det rommet vi hadde booket og det nye vi fikk. Pengen var på konto samme dag. Frokosten hadde begrenset utvalg av pålegg da en måtte bestille det man skulle ha ut i fra en meny og så ble det servert. Men kjempegod service av kelner og bra utvalg av bakevarer.

Room was clean, small but perfect for a single traveler. The location is amazing, only a 20 ft walk from the entrance to the metro line that takes you to all the major tourist sights. The staff were extremely friendly, and they even had umbrellas to use on rainy days! Absolutely loved my stay and would stay again.

One of the beds was not changed . The bath is in a terrible condition, it has marks all over the bottom that look like it was dirty , it just looks like it needs to be modernized . Water pressure was not great either and one of the lights over the bed doesn't work .the separate toilet does not have a sink . Towels look grey

Clean room. Small and tight but that's expected... though the single room bathroom is REALLY tight. Only a single occupancy, slow elevator... but you can always take the stairs. Great service. Bed was comfy. Thin walls... bring earplugs or a sound machine. Great location!

At Hotel Duo all you pay for is the position in the Center of Marais and with metro station in front. Rooms are microscopic which is standard in the Center of Paris but less expensive. Breakfast is super expensive and it’s a la carte so you get micro portions of everything .. usually at such a price there should be a buffet and all you can eat policy. Last but not least the whole lobby area is freezing cold so either they don’t want to spend on heating or they need to upgrade isolation features

Staff was very welcoming. I had requested rooms with showers and they were able to accommodate us. Very nice lobby to wait in for other travellers. The rooms we had were very spacious and bathroom updates were amazing. Like many hotels if you are a lighter sleeper bring earplugs as there can be street noise.

I have visited Paris prior to this trip. I had forgotton just how small the hotel rooms are. The bathroom is barely big enough for one person. There is almost no space between the closet doors and the bed. Positive aspects: The room and hotel were very clean and modern. The location was perfect - there is a metro stop right outside the hotel and the Seine is a few blocks away. Another plus is airconditioning - many air bnbs and hotels don't have ac - remember to ask before you book. We didn't eat breakfast - it was more expensive than the near by bistros.

Hotel Duo’s location in Marais is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful .. in our case, they accelerate room cleaning (for our room) after the guests had checked so we could get in sooner. The room we had booked was 03 - a suite with two rooms meant for 4. The decor was a bit tired and worn but a bigger problem was the locations of the toilet (outside the main bedroom so easily accessible to all) and sink/bathroom, which could only be accessed via main bedroom. That was super inconvenient!!!

We have been staying at Hotel Duo for about 20 years, every time we come to Paris. The staff is great. We've seen how the staff has improved over the years, and they're just the nicest people. Any issue that arose they addressed, or were able to offer a free breakfast for said inconvenience. A few years back an entrance for Hotel De Ville metro stop was opened just right outside the door--and it feels like your own private metro entrance. Location is great, right in the Marais and close to some of our fav shops. We are excited for their refurb coming next year, and hope that we will still be able to afford the hotel. Thanks, Hotel Duo, for another nice stay!

It really worked for us as a gay couple because we wanted to explore the bars and restaurants of the "gay" Marais, and this hotel was a great location. But let me speak to the "free" breakfast that most certainly was not "free". Even when I checked in they made sure to assure me my breakfasts were "included". But on check-out they assured me they were not and charged me hundreds of euros for the two of us. We liked the restaurant. But at 25 euros each per morning it really adds up. We also had an unexpected "Paris city tax" they wanted up front at check in although I prepaid all the hotel charges on Expedia, or so I thought, so that was another $60 Euros cash. I know. Everything in Paris is pricey. We were pretty generous. But we got taken advantage of by one taxi driver pretty badly for cash. And the restaurant in the Eiffel Tower really was greatly overpriced.

The staff at Hotel Duo are amazing! They truly went out of their way to make sure our stay went well. They booked tickets, offered restaurant options, and provided assistance when needed. The rooms are quite tiny, but it is Paris! The bathroom was modernized. The location is just a 10 minute walk to the Notre Dame and near tons of great restaurants and bars. Would stay here again!

In addition, it was my 70th birthday and the photo was a birthday surprise I in found in my room when I returned during the evening. I was touched by their thoughtfulness. Good hotel in a convenient part of the city. Lively area with plenty of access to restaurants & bars. Would have no problem staying there again. No need to pay for hotel breakfast, quite limited for the price. Just go around the corner for a cheaper and better breakfast.

Great property, we stayed there for 3 nights with kids. The staff were super helpful. Breakfast was not fancy but good enough. Prime location with tonnes of food options around. Feels very safe. Definitely recommend.
