The hotel is lovely - clean and modern. Reception staff were really attentive and made us feel really welcome. Our room (Junior Studio Suite) felt quite small. The shower was difficult to use and the toiletries provided weren't as described on the hotel website. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine, which was a great gesture; however, the wine was corked and undrinkable when opened. Breakfast was included and although the food was average, the service was extremely poor. We were ignored by most of the waiters and when we eventually flagged someone over, they were quite blunt and couldn't provide us with a menu of what hot food options were available. Hot food was slow to be received and hot drinks were even slower - when they arrived they were cold. The pool is small and gets very busy. Limited space to sit around the pool too. We were unable to use it during our stay as it was so busy. The hotel is overpriced and not what I would typically expect from 5 star accommodation. Although a pleasant stay, I wouldn't stay again.

Overall, it was quite hard to find a 5star hotel in Napoli that has the full kit. We booked this hotel for two nights, coming from Capri, and thought it'd be good to end our stay here. The only reason we booked this one, in relation to my first statement about 5star hotels in Napoli, was because of the pool. From the pictures you'll see this amazing view, the pool looks really nice and you think that you'll have this great short-city-stay. However, as soon as we checked in (which went smoothly, and all were friendly) my husband and I ran up to the pool are as we were excited to spend time there. The pool is really small, it is not maintained at all, it was dirty and yellow (from just being old and not well kept), there are very few sunbeds and the whole mood sort of changed when we first saw the pool, and then the actual view of just a big industrial facility. The hotel area, its location, is not very nice, and maybe this is something that one can put aside, if the pool are would have been mirroring the pictures online. If you are spending one or two days in the city, and want a place to sleep, sure this is a good hotel for that. But due to our experience we are not sure about the value. We paid about 400 euros per night, and it is simply not worth it. However. The rooms were nice, beds=comfortable, the breakfast was very nice but sure to us complaining about the pool, the service was cheeky. "We can't build a new pool" they said. Hotels.com helped us!!!

We finished off our wonderful Italy trip with a couple of nights in Napoli. We took some time deciding where to stay and whilst the ROMEO was the more expensive option we really enjoyed our time there and the main feature was the pool / bar area on the 10th floor which had fab views of the port area and Mount Vesuvius. The overall hotel set-up is really cool and the staff were very courteous and helpful. We upgraded to a Deluxe Harbour View room that are on the 5th and 6th floors giving better views of the port but I suggest you push for 6th as we were on the 5th & still had a view of a warehouse

This was the most beautiful hotel so far that we’ve stayed at in Italy. The beds were so comfy, the hotel was so nice. The 10th floor has spectacular views, they make great cocktails. Breakfast was wonderful too!

Les petits mots manuscrits à notre arrivée et départ, les chaussons posés aux pieds du lit chaque soir, le gateaux offert le dernier jour, toutes ces attentions nous ont touchées. Mention spéciale pour la piscine au 10e étage avec sa vue sur le Vésuve. Le personnel du bar de la terrasse est très pro. L’hôtel est super bien situé pour visiter Naples, avec de nombreux sites accessibles à pied ou rapidement en transport. Et que dire du petit déjeuner signé Ducasse ? Exceptionnel ! I would say it was a little overpriced. The castle view suite was excellent. Perfect for privacy to have separate rooms. The staff was extremely attentive and provided everything requested. Only minor inconvenience was there seemed to be flies throughout the hotel. Not a lot but unexpected

Only needed a room for a one night stay. While the staff is excellent and very accommodating the room was dirty. The shower was covered in mold and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Very disappointing for the price point.

I would say it was a little overpriced. The castle view suite was excellent. Perfect for privacy to have separate rooms. The staff was extremely attentive and provided everything requested. Only minor inconvenience was there seemed to be flies throughout the hotel. Not a lot but unexpected

We finished off our wonderful Italy trip with a couple of nights in Napoli. We took some time deciding where to stay and whilst the ROMEO was the more expensive option we really enjoyed our time there and the main feature was the pool / bar area on the 10th floor which had fab views of the port area and Mount Vesuvius. The overall hotel set-up is really cool and the staff were very courteous and helpful. We upgraded to a Deluxe Harbour View room that are on the 5th and 6th floors giving better views of the port but I suggest you push for 6th as we were on the 5th & still had a view of a warehouse

This was the most beautiful hotel so far that we’ve stayed at in Italy. The beds were so comfy, the hotel was so nice. The 10th floor has spectacular views, they make great cocktails. Breakfast was wonderful too!

Deceptive. We paid for a harbor view and we received a view of old building and city cars. There explanation is that hotel is around the harbor. No harbor view at all. Also cheapest thing on there me he is 38 euros.

Very nice hotel; quirky but all facilities provided were good. Room was very comfortable and clean. Location was excellent. Unfortunately Naples is somewhat dirty and that was true around the hotel. Overall rating was very good. We didn't like a) the bathroom lighting came on automatically in the night as it was disturbing our partner, the breakfast area is relatively small and staff seemed harassed (we had to wait to sit down on 3 out 4 occasions); and rap music in the cocktail bar seemed inappropriate.

The hotel is lovely - clean and modern. Reception staff were really attentive and made us feel really welcome. Our room (Junior Studio Suite) felt quite small. The shower was difficult to use and the toiletries provided weren't as described on the hotel website. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine, which was a great gesture; however, the wine was corked and undrinkable when opened. Breakfast was included and although the food was average, the service was extremely poor. We were ignored by most of the waiters and when we eventually flagged someone over, they were quite blunt and couldn't provide us with a menu of what hot food options were available. Hot food was slow to be received and hot drinks were even slower - when they arrived they were cold. The pool is small and gets very busy. Limited space to sit around the pool too. We were unable to use it during our stay as it was so busy. The hotel is overpriced and not what I would typically expect from 5 star accommodation. Although a pleasant stay, I wouldn't stay again.

* None of the rooms had shower gel supplied. When I asked for shower gel, there was a shrug and sigh from the receptionist and they reluctantly asked for house keeping to bring it. 45 mins later I returned o reception as it had not arrived. * The room was missing its directory card so I didn’t know which phone number to call for reception. * The taps were very loose, the cupboard door was hanging off and half the shower head jets were blocked and clogged. * House maid removed one of my wifes beauty products. We were accused by Marta of placing it near the bin and therefore confusing the maid * First morning at breakfast, pastries were provided for my wife and I. My daughter later joined us and asked for pastries, however Antonio told us that “we had enough to share”. * Second breakfast, order was incorrect and arrived all together despite ordering in 3 logical steps (pastries/fruit/hot). Only one set of cutlery was provided for all of the breakfast and no plates were provided. The coffee was cold and old, indicated by low temp and lack of crema (looked like filter coffee). Antonio was completely miserable and not interested in us and was walking off whilst we were still giving the order-this is why it was wrong as he was not listening. No waiters were smiling at all. * Dinner on the terrace was met with the same miserable, bored and disengaged waiter. This turned out to be the F&B manager. The list goes on and on- emailed hotel with complaints and not a single acknowledgmen.

Every member of staff we met could not have been more professional or helpful. The food was excellent, not just the Michelin starred restaurant. We’ve holidayed in Italy a number of times & have generally been very disappointed by the breakfast offering but breakfast at the Romeo was excellent (a glass of Prosecco would have been welcome). We’re looking forward to our next night with them before flying home in10 days.

The hotel has a wonderful modern design, great rooms and a fantastic spa area. The staff are most friendly and accommodating. Conveniently close to the port (5mins walk) if you wish to take a ferry to Capri and also close to the main tourist sites in naples - we went everywhere on foot. If we return to Naples we couldnt imagine staying anywhere else!

This was our first time in Naples and the hotel was amazing. Just a few minutes walk to the centre and the harbour, this hotel is in the perfect location. The staff at the hotel are very attentive and professional. The design of the hotel is very modern and had all the requirements you would expect from a newly built hotel.

Overall, it was quite hard to find a 5star hotel in Napoli that has the full kit. We booked this hotel for two nights, coming from Capri, and thought it'd be good to end our stay here. The only reason we booked this one, in relation to my first statement about 5star hotels in Napoli, was because of the pool. From the pictures you'll see this amazing view, the pool looks really nice and you think that you'll have this great short-city-stay. However, as soon as we checked in (which went smoothly, and all were friendly) my husband and I ran up to the pool are as we were excited to spend time there. The pool is really small, it is not maintained at all, it was dirty and yellow (from just being old and not well kept), there are very few sunbeds and the whole mood sort of changed when we first saw the pool, and then the actual view of just a big industrial facility. The hotel area, its location, is not very nice, and maybe this is something that one can put aside, if the pool are would have been mirroring the pictures online. If you are spending one or two days in the city, and want a place to sleep, sure this is a good hotel for that. But due to our experience we are not sure about the value. We paid about 400 euros per night, and it is simply not worth it. However. The rooms were nice, beds=comfortable, the breakfast was very nice but sure to us complaining about the pool, the service was cheeky. "We can't build a new pool" they said. Hotels.com helped us!!!

Location? Location? Location? For a relatively new hotel - why would the owners think that their guests would want to wake up to the sight of the arse of a monster cruise ship being right in their faces! The pollution these Behemoths chugged out would have blotted out the Sun but fortunately for us the wind was offshore, otherwise, I doubt I would have faired better than the locals of Pompei!

Les produits de toilette Balmain sont de grande qualité. La literie ultra confortable et la climatisation fonctionnait parfaitement. Les petits mots manuscrits à notre arrivée et départ, les chaussons posés aux pieds du lit chaque soir, le gateaux offert le dernier jour, toutes ces attentions nous ont touchées. Mention spéciale pour la piscine au 10e étage avec sa vue sur le Vésuve. Le personnel du bar de la terrasse est très pro. L’hôtel est super bien situé pour visiter Naples, avec de nombreux sites accessibles à pied ou rapidement en transport. Et que dire du petit déjeuner signé Ducasse ? Exceptionnel ! Seul petit regret : nous n’avons pas eu le temps d’essayer le spa, qui semblait superbe. Ce sera pour la prochaine fois ! Bémol, la lumière des toilettes de la chambre qui s’allume automatiquement quelque soit l’heure…

I would say it was a little overpriced. The castle view suite was excellent. Perfect for privacy to have separate rooms. The staff was extremely attentive and provided everything requested. Only minor inconvenience was there seemed to be flies throughout the hotel. Not a lot but unexpected

* None of the rooms had shower gel supplied. When I asked for shower gel, there was a shrug and sigh from the receptionist and they reluctantly asked for house keeping to bring it. 45 mins later I returned o reception as it had not arrived. * The room was missing its directory card so I didn’t know which phone number to call for reception. * The taps were very loose, the cupboard door was hanging off and half the shower head jets were blocked and clogged. * House maid removed one of my wifes beauty products. We were accused by Marta of placing it near the bin and therefore confusing the maid * First morning at breakfast, pastries were provided for my wife and I. My daughter later joined us and asked for pastries, however Antonio told us that “we had enough to share”. * Second breakfast, order was incorrect and arrived all together despite ordering in 3 logical steps (pastries/fruit/hot). Only one set of cutlery was provided for all of the breakfast and no plates were provided. The coffee was cold and old, indicated by low temp and lack of crema (looked like filter coffee). Antonio was completely miserable and not interested in us and was walking off whilst we were still giving the order-this is why it was wrong as he was not listening. No waiters were smiling at all. * Dinner on the terrace was met with the same miserable, bored and disengaged waiter. This turned out to be the F&B manager. The list goes on and on- emailed hotel with complaints and not a single acknowledgmen.

This was the most beautiful hotel so far that we’ve stayed at in Italy. The beds were so comfy, the hotel was so nice. The 10th floor has spectacular views, they make great cocktails. Breakfast was wonderful too!

Every member of staff we met could not have been more professional or helpful. The food was excellent, not just the Michelin starred restaurant. We’ve holidayed in Italy a number of times & have generally been very disappointed by the breakfast offering but breakfast at the Romeo was excellent (a glass of Prosecco would have been welcome). We’re looking forward to our next night with them before flying home in10 days.

Very good room services, fantastic front desk service, amazing spa, beautiful infinity pool etc. They upgraded our room and gave us a bottle of Champagne for our anniversary.
