Great location...train station close by...quick access to groacery store and restaurant...very convenient set up with full kitchen...lots of space...wonderful option for families visiting the London area...property manager is very helpful. This is our new place to stay when we visit London. See you in the Spring!

Walkable to necessities. The host are very friendly and welcoming and helpful. To be honest, we hated the apartment - it smelled of cigarettes, the furniture was old and uncomfortable, we did go during a heat wave but it was very hot all the time even with windows open. The bed was very hard and lumpy. We did enjoy the TV options and there is an amazing Italian restaurant behind it. The apartment did have a stove, frig, washer/dryer, and microwave along with some dishes and pans. That was a nice touch. Overall - it was okay, didn’t love it or hate it - but we wouldn’t book again.

Mark was an excellent host and the apartment was a great value. Apartment is sized for two. We were a party of 3. We brought a small 14 year old who slept on roll out bed. When bed was open, the apartment was tight. Liked that apartment was equipped with adapters for US electronics and usB charging in bedroom. Getting to either district subway or Picadilly line was easy. Many groceries and restaurants in near by area. The apartment was a nice way to spend a week in London. Appreciated kitchen and laundry facilities.

Mark made sure we had everything we needed, easy enough place to find, good access to the tube network. Any time we had a question it was easy to text Mark via WhatsApp to save on international costs. The WiFi worked always, the rooms well kept, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds slept well.

The property was close to the tube which was nice. It wasn't very clean & there's no AC. The bathroom is tiny, has mold & several broken tiles. The owner was friendly & communicated through whats app but I rarely saw anyone on property to request extra towels ect. I was hoping for better.

We had to be moved to to mold in the apartment. We had the first night. The second apartment was on the second floor while they were working in the hallway and lower apartment. It was better, but not anywhere near what was expected. Still very musty smelling And I am assuming the mold was removed prior to our arrival.

Very gentle person running the place. Great location. 2 min walk to subway. The pictures don't lie but the cleaning is not as you want. Kitchen, living room and bedroom was fine but the bathroom is old and dirty. Quite awefull actually. But then again, its London.

Mark was very kind to meet us for check-in and even helped carry our cases upstairs. Flat is very well equipped, and everything works as it should. Very clean too. The location is excellent - a stone's throw from the West Kensington tube and about 5 minutes walk from Barons Court (on the Piccadilly line for direct access to Kings Cross and LHR). Lots of small supermarkets and places to eat / take away nearby. On a nice quiet street. Even if some of the fixtures could be updated, this flat has so many good points we didn't mind. Thank you.

A acomodação é muito pequena, a limpeza péssima, a cozinha estava muito suja, nem consegui cozinhar nela. A pia do banheiro minúscula, sendo impossível o uso. Enfim foi tão ruim que tivemos que nos descolar pra um hotel. Não recomendo!

We had an AMAZING stay at one of Mark’s apartments! The hosts were beyond kind, gracious, and even patient with us when we realized we had locked ourselves out at 11:30pm. They are excellent with communication. The apartment was beautifully clean (I used to clean hotel rooms at a 5 star inn and it was up to their standards) spacious and in a wonderful neighborhood. It reminded us a lot of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. There are two tube stations nearby and great food options as well. We are excited to stay here again in the future. If you are someone who wants a 5* hotel, spend £500 a night in Soho. If you want a lovely stay in a real neighborhood this place is for you! :)

The apartment was shabby and smelled like it had not been properly cleaned. The hot water was limited due to being operated via a contraption over the kitchen sink. There were no tow racks in the bathroom

Spacious and clean property with a great layout that allows for individual space and privacy as well as cooking and hanging out together. Comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Loved the very high ceilings and huge windows letting in natural light. This isn’t a super “ updated” or highly renovated flat, but is even more charming for it. Mark is a lovely guy, communicative and easy to reach. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

We stayed here when we first arrived in London and came back and back whenever we could while in London. Great amenities, comfortable Beds, fantastic host Mark. Remember this is London and if you want brand new you will be paying for it. If you want something that is comfortable, affordable and has everything you need in a great location then this is the place. Have recommended on various travel sites as a great option. Location was ok, the communication very good, however the apartment location (basement) and with noice of people entering the building was not optimal, and minor issues with the facilities brought down the rating. Unless these are fixed, it does give a good stay.

Jeg var ikke helt fornøyd, veggene er veldig lytt og det kommer bråk fra etasjen over. Luft og inneklima er heller ikke så god. Strøm plutselig går av og kjøleskapet lekker vann.

ロンドンの物価高と円安が重なり、高い割に期待ハズレの部屋でした。 ハワイのコンドミを想定してましたが、地下の部屋で狭く、キッチンは使いずらく、バスルームはシャワーのみでした。 建物が古いほど価値があるそうですが、床剥がれていました。収納も少なかったです。ただ、南京虫がいない為、安心して眠れました。

We stayed at the property for 4 days. The stay was wonderful. Mark is a great host and was always available from the day before check in till our check out. He checked on us daily by texting if everything was going well with our stay. He answered any questions and was always responsive via SMS.

Mark, manager/coordinator was very helpful and kind to us during our stay there. Also, on the day of our departure he looked after our bags outside the apartment until we picked them in the afternoon. Moreover, he helped us for booking a UBER and loading our bags into the car. I've experienced a true customer satisfaction at this place.

We had a great stay at Castletown House Apartments. The owner is friendly and accommodating, he assisted us with our luggage, explained how to use the equipment and was available throughout our stay. It’s an excellent location too, close to the tube, shops, eating and drinking places and tourist attractions. We’d gladly stay again. Many thanks.

Mark is great at communication and super helpful. We had a few stays at some of His apartments and each time he did whatever he could to make our stay great. The units are not super modern but they have everything you need and the location is great. Thank you Mark for being so accommodating during our time in London !

The place gave a thorough immersion to living in London ‘burbs. Mark and his family were super accommodating and provided personalized service at the check in. There was a booking conflict which was resolved very quickly and favorably to us. Our vacation was exactly as we expected.

Mark was very kind to meet us for check-in and even helped carry our cases upstairs. Flat is very well equipped, and everything works as it should. Very clean too. The location is excellent - a stone's throw from the West Kensington tube and about 5 minutes walk from Barons Court (on the Piccadilly line for direct access to Kings Cross and LHR). Lots of small supermarkets and places to eat / take away nearby. On a nice quiet street. Even if some of the fixtures could be updated, this flat has so many good points we didn't mind. Thank you.

Great location...train station close by...quick access to groacery store and restaurant...very convenient set up with full kitchen...lots of space...wonderful option for families visiting the London area...property manager is very helpful. The apartment is very convenient in terms of travel since it is situated very close to the underground and bus stop. There were shops around the block to buy things such as water and food. Mark is also accomodating and allowed us to check in early. Overall a convenient location for our return trip to London.

It was an excellent stay. Mark is an exceptional host. He was very attentive and gave us all necessary support throughout our stay. The location is very safe, quiet and just a few minutes from London's main attractions. There are several markets, pharmacies and restaurants in the area. Very close to underground. The kitchen in the room was very well equipped and very important for preparing our meals. Excellent choice!

Castletown was a great option for having our own place to stay in London, while still having a host who was reachable and available. The neighborhood was pleasant to walk around and the distance from the Tube station was ideal.

This property was amazing to stay at! So close to the tube and easy transportation around the whole area. Kept us feeling safe and was so easy to get to where we needed to go without having to stay in a busy city area. Will be back to stay here again :)

We had an AMAZING stay at one of Mark’s apartments! The hosts were beyond kind, gracious, and even patient with us when we realized we had locked ourselves out at 11:30pm. They are excellent with communication. The apartment was beautifully clean (I used to clean hotel rooms at a 5 star inn and it was up to their standards) spacious and in a wonderful neighborhood. It reminded us a lot of Greenpoint, Brooklyn. There are two tube stations nearby and great food options as well. We are excited to stay here again in the future. If you are someone who wants a 5* hotel, spend £500 a night in Soho. If you want a lovely stay in a real neighborhood this place is for you! :)

Location was ok, the communication very good, however the apartment location (basement) and with noice of people entering the building was not optimal, and minor issues with the facilities brought down the rating. Unless these are fixed, it does give a good stay.
