Not enough signage for property to be seen for transportation purposes. Not enough lighting at night. Some laundry facility machines did not work. My room air conditioning did not work, although maintenance very quickly brought into the room a portable air unit which did help somewhat. Breakfast was usually late being placed and only one coffee machine for the facility, and it did not work quite often. The staff were extremely helpful, respectful and always courteous and generous with their time.

This was the perfect hub for our London trip. A short walk to the Tower Bridge station, great free breakfast and coffee, and a clean well equipped room. The only drawback was that their laundry room had been out of commission- they walked us over to a sister hotel so we could do our laundry so while not as convenient as having it in our hotel, they had a workable solution.

The corridor to the room does not have a solid outer wall, so it is all the more important that the doors close very tightly, which unfortunately is not the case. We wouldn't want to stay on the first floor again.

Property is Great However the Walls Are super thin, you can hear everything including those who are Walking the walls. The AC was spot on, on the Dreadful Heat we experience in July.

THIS HOTEL HAS AIR CONDITIONING!!!! Just was there about two weeks ago …had left a hot box hotel for this and couldn’t be happier with my decision… great location, clean facilities, a gym and laundry mat, friendly attentive staff. Will definitely book here again next time I’m in London

The location is great and the staff are competent and polite. The breakfast is good. Because it is down an alley (although in a safe neighborhood), they have extra security, so you have to swipe you card to get to the elevators. There are large, louvered windows framing the hallways that are designed to be permanently open, so the walk from room to lobby can be quite cold in the winter.

Area was good. Lots of issues with the room . First room had no hot water or heat. Had to move room at 2am. In next room, bathroom door fell off the track, very heavy door right by the bed. Could have really hurt someone. Hallways are open to the air. Was freezing, they can’t close windows

the employees are friendly and want to help but we were quite disappointed about the hotel. The hotel Rooms and the breakfast area are very cramped. Some of the rooms have a very bad smell. Seems they have a problem with sewers pipe that makes the rooms very not confortable at all but seems they do not care and they rent them anyway.

The room didn't match the pictures as what we booked. We asked to change the rooms but they mentioned since we booked through a third party service and it was peak period, all rooms were already booked and they won't be able to cater to our change. We also found some bugs/insects near the sofa bed we had in our suite and asked for a deep cleaning of the room. The cleaning service wasn't upto the mark all days and only on repeated instruction, did they clean the room properly and provided us with bathmat, fresh towels, etc. Location was great, breakfast was nice and overall cooperating and friendly staff. They even allowed us to store our luggages in the final day after checkout for few hours without any additional cost.

The worst mattresses ever, really need upgrading. Black mold in shower, doubt rooms get inspected daily or weekly. Great location and dining options. Room type was really too tight for 3 people, had I know I would have gone with a larger room.

I did really like the space we had in the room, there was one thing, in the shower there was some mould (room 110) on the ceiling, we addressed it, but they didn’t clean it.. the rest was great!

We stayed in this hotel for one week. The hotel and location is nice! I informed the staff about the water pressure in our room, but no action was taken. The water pressure was so low that I spent triple the time washing my hair. I could have given them five stars if they had addressed my issue or done something. If you don't mind low water pressure, this hotel might be good for you. For me, I will not stay here again.

Nice room apart from a mouse running across the room and under the kitchen cupboard ! Room changed but dont think I would stay again… obviously is a problem - only offered Marriott points as compensation! Don’t have a Marriott card !

It was a 10 min walk to the London bridge train station. There are some grocery stores around so you can pick up food and drinks quickly. The room provided was okay-ish. The kitchen was easy to use and it good shape. The cleaning crew missed 3 of our 4 night stay wich was quite unfortunate. All in all a good stay with more than friendly staff and a good breakfast.

Over all the property was good. ! Minor things like was left with one hand towel and large towel for 3 people. Used large towel was hanging up in bathroom that was damp. No sheets,pillows and blanket left for the couch bed for the third person. Breakfast was good. Alot to choose from. Staff

The deluxe 1 bedroom (2 queen) suite was perfect for my wife and 3 kids. Room was very spacious for a week stay in London. Staff was very friendly. A quick walk to Tower Bridge and some good restraunts in the area.

Paper thin doors and terrible acoustics outside caused repeated disturbances in the evening and night time. On top of that, the fire alarm went off several times in our room because people were cooking in other rooms. If the sound proofing of the doors was fixed, as well as the fire alarm issue, it would be a wonderful hotel.

The hotel on the whole was fabulous the breakfast was plentiful and delicious.. the room was well presented with all the amenities you need and more!! The only downside to our hotel stay was the main bed it was so squeaky it was ridiculous and that was literally just turning over through the night it woke the whole apartment!

Staff is not helpful. Any requests wevhad put were not answered. Rooms are very small. The cleaning crew lost the pair of my shoe and had no idea were they put. When we told reception desk they did not care

We were placed in this hotel last minute from their sister hotel at tower bridge. We booked and paid weeks in advance but they emailed to swap us so late we were already traveling. This meant we were the wrong side of London for what we had planned which incurred additional travelling costs and alot more walking with an 8 year old. The room was very hot, despite complaining about the air conditioning nothing improved. The only thing we could do was leave the balcony door open at night, this was unsafe as other rooms had access to our balcony. When we first arrived they were only expecting 2 adults, so there was no bedding for our son, who then had to stay up late until someone eventually turned up with extra bedding and made his bed. Very disappointing hotel, especially their customer services, not having the decency to contact and warn us we were being transferred to a hotel we had not chosen. We could have saved money by staying at a cheaper hotel, one that appreciates our custom. Not what we expected from a Marriott.

They overbooked my room and had my family walk with all of our luggage to their sister hotel. It was upsetting that there was no compensation or even an upgrade for the inconvenience. I expected more from Marriott. The point of making a reservation is to have a room reserved. Not the best way to start the vacation I planned for months.

This suites-type hotel on Bermondsey Street is a gem! It's a 15 minute walk to Tower Bridge. Street is quiet and largely out of busy tourist areas. Many excellent small local restaurants are very close by. The neighborhood is an interesting former leather-tanning district with a number of old commercial buildings now repurposed as apartments. The room had a good, well-equipped kitchen area. An excellent free breakfast including healthy options is included.

Lovely hotel with amazing staff. We had a suite which was lovely but a bit on the small side for 3 adults if I’m honest. The hot breakfast was not great and not much choice, but the continental was amazing. Very well situated , in quiet safe area.
