Absolutely awful - I honestly think this is the worst place I have ever stayed at - we were booked for 3 nights for a conference and ended up staying just 1 and that was because we got there to sleep so late in the evening we didn’t have a chance to find another option until the next morning. The shower room is damp and mouldy. The tap moved around so much. There was no hot water. The lights all fused and we couldn’t get them back on. The curtains didn’t fit properly and it was so noisy from the road. The tea and coffee had no tea. There was no cleaning or attention to the room for any of the 3 nights - we went back in to check when we parked the car there each day, no tea bags at all, no towel change etc. There was rubbish piled up outside. The table out the front of the guest house was all broken up and the top was lifted up. The only slight benefit was that after we had escaped to another hotel further outside of Oxford then we could use this place for parking, although on the last day the rude owner, the only time anyone had been around, also told us that we had to move the car or he would charge us another night. Would definitely not recommend!

It was just very awkward to check in and unclear where to park. The worst part was the shower drain was completely clogged and because there was no front desk we were unable to get it fixed. We all needed showers because it was so hot.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we will definitely be back. Such a good price and so convenient with the location and the parking.

Mold in the bathroom. Bed was too hard.

Don’t waste your money , disgusting condition bathroom full of mould , rust , falling to pieces , wall plugs coming off wall, on a busy road very noisy. Wallpaper coming off wall, bed was ok , they provided towels and toiletries, but shower was sooo disgusting I would not use it . Not value for money at all.

Not recommended, dirty, stains on bedding, moth issues. Pay a bit more stay elsewhere.

We stayed a few nights but sadly had a few hiccups with the facilities. The door of the shower seemed broken and could never stay shut and the bed was not comfortable. We missing sustainable pillows and springs were almost exposed from the mattress. Unrelated to the owners, the other residents were very loud and constantly exiting close to our unprotected windows all night long.

Noisy environment with the road just in front of the hotel in case you get the room near the road. You will be wake up at 06h00 am. Otherwise the room was ok

Nice room and bathroom check in was easy .

Fast Wi-Fi. Big bed. Small room. Spider on the wall. Ant in the toilet.

Hotel about 15 mins walk from Botanical gardens. Family house that has been converted into rooms. Room 12, X2 single beds at the back in a conservatory, tiny window in room and bathroom. Very little sound proofing in room or from above. Ok for a night or two, but no more.

Good budget option - no frills, but clean, comfortable and well located

It’s is very basic. I booked it because it was the only thing available for the time I was there

Easy to get to on bus; here was no one AT THE PROPERTY to help but a phone call worked to get into lockbox and get key.

The owner is very polite and organized.

Staff was very kind to me. Heater wasn't working and the mugs in the room where dirty and had to clean them with a towel.

No air conditioning and no hot water. No one can help.
