Was notified after booking of some building work happening while we were there and then notified the day before that the name of the hotel had changed , we didn't expect for the whole area inside and outside to look like a building site . Got to reception to be told that they don't do family rooms ( we booked a family room as traveling with three adults and one child ) they could only do two separate rooms next to each other not even with a door joining the two rooms . This was not good for us as two adults and child out the group are autistic hence for safety why we booked a family room to accommodate us .we couldn't do anything about it so accepted the two rooms went to open the door and one room had someone's stuff still in it looked like they were clearly still there so back down to reception to get two more rooms each with one large bed in not even twin beds . The rooms were nice and clean but not what we had booked and not an ideal start to the trip luckily we only stayed one night to get to airport . Was offered discount on food but didn't want to eat there due to it being a building site and you could smell the dust from it . Rooms were clean but again just not what we booked . I got sent multiple emails from this hotel before arriving at any point they could of said they no longer do family rooms as this did leave us with no choice but to separate the vulnerable adults in our group to separate rooms which was not the safest solution.
