Very good location in an area with great dining and entertainment options. Rooms were clean and comfortables. Breakfast in the morning was great! Not great for immediate parking options but you could find nearby (10 minute walk) long term parking but it is only payable by scanning a QR code. Staff was great and helpful!

Straightforward hotel in s good area. Room nice and clean. All pretty good, staff were nice. No lift though - which was fine but which I guess will make it unsuitable for some people.

As a man of 80 I ws not pleased to find my room was on the 3rd floor and there was no lift or porter. I had heavy baggage and the receptionist had to carry one bag up the 67 stairs to what was a pretty grim room For anyone of a certain age or lack of mobility this place could present a potential health and safety risk unless they can be assured of a ground floor room. Definitely not recommended.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was VERY nice. The only concern is the convenience, and the needed updating to the hotel. I was given a room on the fourth floor and found it difficult with no lift.

Great last minute find for a reasonable price! Easy walking distance to Ovo Hydro, approx 10 minutes. Overnight parking for £14 just 6 minute walking distance also. Would happily stay again.

There is NOT AN ELEVATOR and there are 4 floors. They don't have anyone to help with luggage either. We were in an attic room on the 4th floor. The carpet smelled of throw up and the room overall very very out dated. The only place to put our suitcases while having them open was on the floor. The shower water temperature didn't stay at a continuous temperature. Bed was uncomfortable. The room is oddly shaped and has several low ceiling spots. The only positive is that it's at a great location for wonderful restaurants. There is a Best Western about a block away on the same street. The app won't let me add pictures.

The Room was very small, I have a bad back and forced to go up to the 4 floor without a lift to many stairs There were supposed to be two single beds; according to the picture, it was only one double. I complained to the staff, but they were not interested in helping, as they said they were booked out and could not change me to a lower floor Very bad experience, I will never book his Hotel again

Nice big room . Ideal for work purposes. No parking but you can get a space after 6pm as long as you are away for 8am. Very functional . Good shower and clean bed .

After discovering black mould in the bathroom, the following morning, after saying and having to leave early because of a planned day out with family upon returning, I then complained and told them what I had seen and took pictures of and left a day early. Told reception and was offered another room which was never an option. After seeing what I saw. I was then told to email and complain to no response. Then ringing I was told I was emailed which I wasn’t and told that I should’ve complained straight away yet I put my stuff virtually in the room, stayed there for awhile and went out for the evening. At one point, I put the light switch on in the bathroom to discover black mould everywhere

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have never found any faults. It's ideal for a stay of 3 to 4 nights. One aspect I appreciate is that they clean the rooms every day, which is not the case in some hotels in Glasgow. Additionally, they provide tea and coffee in the room, something that many hotels in the area lack. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the city centre and has good transport links.

Very clean and tidy room, comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. And a tv that worked properly. Friendly and helpful staff too! Will probably stay again when i'm back in Glasgow in February.

Hotel is in a good location. Our basement room was disappointing in that the bathroom door didn't close properly and the soap dispenser fell off the wall in the shower when used. I didn't like that the shower head was imbedded high on the wall and no way to manouvre it. Our dirty coffee cups were not replaced nor the coffee / milk replenished.

Room was clean enough. Furniture dated and shabby. Bathroom very dated, very old shower. Grubby in places. Mould round the edges. Ceiling fan filthy. Numerous flies in bathroom. Entrance and reception lovely. Staff lovely and friendly.

I hate to give a below average review, especially since both to the receptionist on duty were lively, friendly and helpful... but, the cleanliness in the ensuite really wasnt very good, urine splashes on and under the toilet seat and the tiling to the side of the sink hadnt been cleaned properly in ages. The bed and linen were clean so i didnt look any further. The capet had obviously been cleaned with somehing that left a huge big discoloured mark in the centre if he room and the leather finished furniture was all scratched and needed replacing. There was a vent or something outside that made a racket until just after midnight. I had a fairly rubbish sleep due to some noise, drunk people i think, in the lobby outside my door. I paid £89 for a stay without breakfast and im afraid it really wasnt worth that, had it been £50 i woukd have expected this type of standard. Sorry folks but it us what it is

There was a degree of noise from neighboring rooms early in the morning. You cant do anything about the weather but I was in an attic floor room with 4 velux windows and with heavy rain showers the noise was very loud.

Staff were lovely and room was a nice size but not ideal for a couple. It was 3 singles with 2 put together. The gap between the 2 beds meant you couldn't lie next to each other and the double duvet wasn't large enough to cover 2 people with the massive gap in the middle

No black out curtains room was very bright during evening due to street lights, and quite noisy due to scaffolding being removed on building in early hours. Other than those two small things was a lovely staff with friendly staff. Would visit again.

I was originally booked into a tiny room on the top floor - no elevator. As soon as i arrived up there, the phone rang at the receptionist asked if I would like to move to the second floor.. YES please. Very kind of her. The bfst was good and the staff very pleasant. The hotel is old and needs a bit of attention but it was perfectly fine. My issue: I left my iPad behind and they would not help me to retrieve it. I cannot be the only person to have forgotten something they needed back. I was very surprised by their unwillingness to do anything to assist me. I am from Canada and am on a tour so it was not easy for me to figure out but I did, no thanks to the Sandyford front desk!

Comfortable clean hotel close to hydro armadillo etc and nearby bars and restaurants in finnieston. Although didn't use breakfast service friends have on previous stays and recommended as good selection of quality ingredients.

Good hotel in Kelvingrove Area. Bus 77 from Buchanan Street bus station stops opposite the hotel. (It is a long walk from city centre). Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Did not have breakfast so can't comment on that.

Can't really complain, it's obviously an older building so it has some battle scars But the room was clean enough, it's 15 minutes from the OVO on foot. Plenty eateries & shops in the area, bus stop right outside the door. We didn't try the breakfast.

Such a great hotel - not fancy, but it’s got loads of character. It’s cosy, clean and the staff are always brilliant. The location’s perfect for museums, galleries, shops, bars and restaurants. I’ve stayed here a few times now and honestly wouldn’t book anywhere else in Glasgow.

Handy for the Hydro and Armadillo with plenty of choice for eating/drinking within a couple of minutes walk from The Sandyford. The Reception staff were lovely and very helpful with my last minute change of plans. This is my go to budget hotel for gigs in the area

Excellent hotel and well positioned for hydro, armadillo and theatres. It is clean and comfortable. There is no lift which may be an issue for some. Breakfast was lovely with black pudding and haggis.

Great location for O2 hydro. Breakfast great but had to pay an extra £10 each- would have felt better if £20 added on at time of booking. Room needs a little paint but generally for 1 night the location and stay was perfect.

Great value for money. This is a budget hotel but it is obvious they have, and are making a great effort to update. All freshley painted, new carpets and I saw new beds being brought in. Breakfast was superb.
