I loved this olde worlde hotel with its quirky characteristics like the uneven floors and the wonky staircase. I just had to take a photo of my bedroom door! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the food was delicious.

I stayed at the Westgate pub when in Winchester for work. The staff were friendly, my room was cosy and comfortable, and the food was great. The Westgate felt like a safe, welcoming place to stay and I would definitely visit again.

VERY steep, narrow and twisting stairs to access the bedrooms. BE WARNED!!! Also bar refuses to take cash. Thats a big deal in my world. Very convenient location for a Winchester visit if these are not important issues.
