We stayed in the 4-person apartment on the 3.floor. The air conditioning was not working, and the room was unbearably hot. We reported the problem on the very first day, but were told that a technician could come the following day. They did not have an extra fan that we could borrow. The night was terrible hot with no sleep. The next day, they repeatedly assured us that someone would come to repair the air conditioning and that we could possibly change rooms if necessary. By the end of the day, however, no technician had arrived. The only available room they could offer us was a double room. Since we were four people, there was not enough space for everyone, and some of us had to spend another night in the overheated four-person apartment. Had we known that the air conditioning would not be repaired, we would have changed hotels. However, the staff guaranteed that the issue would be resolved, and we trusted them. We would therefore advise others against booking the four-person apartment at this hotel. Furthermore, the service was extremely poor when we actually needed assistance. I have tried to contact the hotel several times afterwards regarding our experience, to give them an opportunity to address the situation before I posted this review, but they have not responded either by email or through the Hotels.com app.

The hotel itself is located on a pretty busy street. It is close to shops and restaurants and many points of interest. We got around quite easily by walking and calling uber (though, you do need to walk around the corner to pick up an uber because the street in front of the hotel is pedestrian only). It can get lively and a little noisy at night because we slept with the windows open, but if you close them you should be fine. We only interacted with 3 staff members, but everyone was kind and helpful and spoke both German and English. They allowed us to store our bags before check-in which was really nice after an international flight. Rooms are large and well-maintained. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable, The showers are tiny - but that's pretty standard for European hotels (water pressure was great though!). There was a nicely stocked mini-bar and I believe a breakfast area, although we did not utilize it (you are a short walk to Naschmarket and many little cafes), there were water coolers in the halls to refill water bottles which was so convenient(I'm sure we saved a ton on bottled water!). Overall, a wonderful place to stay if you're looking for convenience, a fair price, clean, well-appointed rooms, a safe neighborhood and close proximity to everything. Just be aware that it is a lively area with street noise if that is something that bother you.

I stayed here for 3 nights while site-sighting in Vienna. The location was great, steps from the train and within walking distance of some of the museums. I was fairly surprised to have gotten an interior room that faced an internal hallway. I could hear everything that was said when people walked down the hallway. And because of the automatic lighting, every time someone alighted from the lift, the hallway lights came on. There were black out shades but I did not want to use them all of time because the room was so dark. The room was fairly stuffy as I could open only one window (and only sightly so) which faced an interior column. I did not have the breakfast but the Nespresso pods in the room were 2 Euros each. I expected a room that had an external window, but that might have been may mistake. If I return to Vienna, I will probably look for another hotel.

I liked the location. There are a lot of shops and metro station is nearby conveniently connected to Mitte train station. Guests, be mindful of your payments for the hotel. At check-in I was told I didn’t pay for my stay at the time of booking. I was surprised, and I paid. It turned out that I did pay. I verified that with my credit card company. So, I sent email asking for refund. After second email, they responded that they processed the refund. I am going to verify that with the credit card.
