Quality Inn Raleigh Downtown

I pay all this money for this room and i have to go to the 3rd floor to get ice from the first floor. What about the disable people?

The property is remodeling so many beds and frames where outside. The stairs in the remodeling was always dirty. Rooms still need some bath door fixing. Bed was nice and area have a lot to offer near by. Food and gas was neer by too. Front desk was fine and the employees were nice.

Everything is good except the 1 ice machine

Check in was simple and short the lady seemed a little annoyed because when i walked up she was outside putting things in her car and had to come in to service me. Walking in, it was clean and fairly modern. I was given a handicapped accessible room but I didnt request or need it. The room was ok, except the bathtub was dirty and even when I tried to clean it, the dirt would not come out. The staff said something about they are working on getting new bathrooms but offered another room, but by that time, I had already unpacked. Then the fitness room only had 3 pieces of equipment, the dispenser for the wipes to clean the machines was empty and the water cooler had no water not to mention the AC unit didnt work well so it was a sauna in there. Then the second day of my stay when i was leaving the fitness room I saw about 5 police cars in the parking lot talking to a man Insaw walking the halls. Then when i was leaving the lady at the front desk was talking with police. I dont know what was going on but I'm wasnt sure about my safety there after that.

There remodeling so parking is terrible. Bathroom was damaged. Asked the front desk clerk about a car double parked and he claim there was nothing he could do about it. Then I come down and he is asleep at the front desk

Hotel must be under renovation because there is a huge pile of trash behind the building, blocking a large part of the parking lot and even blocking the fire exit. The room was ok, but the toilet was falling apart. The air conditioner barely worked and was very noisy. The remote control for the TV didn't work. Breakfast had egg and cheese sandwich to heat in microwave and they have a self serve waffle maker

The key machine was broken and you had to wait for the attendant to let me in my room

Employees at the front desk were excellent! We checked in easily and let us know that we might want to leave early for our concert as the hotel was full.Checkinh out was easy. Sketchy area with Barb wire. Safe because of one way in a d out.

Very nice Hotel that had very clean a nice room, with very friendly Desk staff and from time I checked in they always talked to me and asked how was my Day. The only issue was it had a small parking lot but I noticed trucks with Trailers were parking in the SAMS CLUB parking lot that tied into the hotel parking lot. Breakfast was the same as other quality inn I have stayed at except they did have very good frozen breakfast sandwiches to put in microwave to heat and wished they all did this. Neighborhood was a little shady so be sure to lock up and if you’re like me, I carry.

Breakfast was the worst I've ever had at a Quality Inn - cold cereal, toast, a pre-packaged sandwich, and the ever-present waffle-maker. No safe in room. Comfy bed. Bathroom is fine. Good location for getting around the area.

Friendly, helpful staff & management. Smiling. Genuinely caring. spotless rooms, quiet, no sound through the walls, or very little. Great location close to train station and 401 highway. I am planning another trip to Raleigh in the next few weeks & definitely will stay there again.

We stayed here for one night and found a toenail on the floor in our room, room wasn’t clean (crumbs and stains everywhere), shower head had rust and gunk on it, and got harassed by a crackhead outside of the hotel in the parking lot. Not a good area, lady at the front desk and all staff were kind.

So glad I chose this quality Inn. The room was immaculate. The tub was spotless and toilet cleaned to my liking. The floors were clean of debris on carpet. The bed was nice and attractive, comfortable with excellent pillows pill. Everything worked as it should. Liked the sockets and USB port next to the bed. TV was nice size very clear. I would’ve stayed another night had I not had previous engagements scheduled! Very good job done. Kudos to staff. Will use this hotelagain for events.

Air conditioners barely worked, lightbulbs were very dim so you could barely see anything in your room (probably on purpose so you couldn’t see how dirty it was), the entire third floor smelled of mildew and the air just felt damp, the elevator made terrible metallic grinding noises and I was terrified to go on it. There was a large stain on my mattress that appeared to be dried blood. The stairwell had all the doors propped open with various objects (lamp, footstool, balled up towels). The door needed to be slammed or it wouldn’t lock, same with the refrigerator. I’m glad I was working for most of the weekend so I didn’t have to stay here much and I ended up checking out early so I wouldn’t have to be there any longer than I had to. At least I didn’t find bedbugs tho

Homeless encampment a block away in the woods. I thought the room was decent until I saw a cockroach walking across my nightstand

The property is terrible, it has black mold everywhere, the first room was smelling really bad and the send one too

The room was dirty, cigarette burns on the mattress in our nonsmoking room, wallpaper was peeling, carpet stained, and the toilet ran all night. Refused to use shower because the tub was so gross. Hotel not in a great area- worried about my car all night. All that being said, we didn’t get bed bugs and it was cheap. Don’t expect anything nice, but it is a bed for a night.

Nice and clean, comfortable room and easy check in/out

The room had a really bad odor. It smelled like mildew and rotten food. We were too tired and it was too late in the night to complain. Room 313 smelled horrible.

Close to university. Torn curtain, metal protruding under bed and tripped on it. Can hear people talking, walking and closung doors throughout the night

Hotel was clean but bath fixtures were a bit worn. Air conditioner ran loud all night. Staff was excellent and responsive to our needs. Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean.

Ok for the price, but car noise from road was constant and loud. Not a good sleeping hotel

To be honest, i would never stay here again. The staff was great, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, etc. the hotel needs a major remodel. There was rust around the door frames, stains in bathtub, stains on shower curtain. Pillow cases were yellowed on some. Air conditioning was loud and didnt work very well. Lots of LED lights that kept me up. Curtains wouldnt close all the way. TV was absolutely HORRIBLE!! Lighting was poor. The room was clean but really really old

The front desk lady was sweet who checked me in. The room was normal. Tv sound didn’t work on some channels. Roach came running out of the shower but we just sent him back with some water. Some lady in the room next door was yelling or crying throughout the night. They have a trash can by the elevators not a pleasant smell. I say for one night it is fine not somehwere I would stay for multiple nights.

Convenient and cost effective Be careful which room you get... some have wardrobes, other just 3 pegs, no hangers!! (I pushed to get a hanger, was offered room c hange after id unpacked... did get 3 but really only needed 1

We are up here on business. The hotel manager Nijar was very nice helping us print some last minute documents. He was friendly and very polite!

The receptionist had a very bad attitude

The staff during the night were amazing as we needed a room asap and we got in with my people during a convention in the area and they all deserve praises or a raise for how they treated us!

Cheap and close to downtown Raleigh. Clean and with decent amenities. Very short walk to route 7 bus stop into downtown.

I would not recommend walking from the hotel its very sketchy and make sure you lock your car doors cause you could get robbed or mugged.

For our one night stay it was pretty decent. Front lady was very nice. The room was clean however we did see mold in bathroom celling. The area around hotel is not the best; many homeless around but parking lot and hotel was okay.

Very close to the Raleigh Convention Center; literally one right turn to leave the hotel and one right turn into the convention parking

This was a great choice for our 5 night stay, the only thing was the neighborhood, which looks shady, but was just fine and felt safe the whole time. Ignore the negative reviews, our stay was worth every penny in savings.

The breakfast offerings was lacking. The area was clean. I would have like hot items. No Toaster or toast.

The breakfast had many options, and they always have hot water for tea through the day.

Room was nice. Clean and didn’t have any bad odors. Tub was also clean. Front desk was amazing. Only complaint is breakfast. It’s not much. Only fruit they had was oranges. Add some bananas and a few muffins and it would be great. We will be back for sure. We came to relax and enjoy the whirlpool tub. Which we did.

I liked the breakfast. Would have enjoyed more breakfast options. The toilet in our room wasn't refilling properly. Had to manually maneuver things to make the tank full with water.
