Hampton Inn & Suites Cape Cod-West Yarmouth

Nice stay but the hot tub was broken and we were really looking forward to it so we were disappointed. Staff seemed aware of it but said could not be fixed.

The safe was grate . There’s a indoor outdoor pool and everything is clean going back to this place for shore.

The hot tub was amazing. Breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly.

We liked the location of the hotel and general accomodation wise. However, it needs some renovation as it is bit outdated compared to other Hampton Inn by Hilton we have stayed at. For example the carpets need to be refreshed and same with the bathroom as well as furnitures. The pool and gym is also bit dated as well as the game room- it was like we were in 1995. The breakfast is nice and up to standard and staff are nice. One issue we found is that after 4/5pm there is no staff and you have to go down to lobby to get any help like towels, toilet papers, etc. Not amazing experience overall but the location and general accomodation for the time was fine.

Close to restaurants and golf. Not far from the beach. Room was very clean. Dog friendly rooms if you need them. Front desk very nice. Baked cookies every night at 8pm for guests to have. They have Cape Cod beer on tap. You can get local beer right at the hotel. This beer is made just down the road.

Great stay! Spacious clean room and friendly staff. Cookies at 8pm were a lovely touch as well as all day coffee and lemon water. Unfortunately no time to use facilities but swimming pool looked very inviting.

Liked the pool area. Staff was very friendly. Didn’t like that the air conditioner sounded like a freight train in the room.

Friendly staff, free breakfast from 6-10am had variety of hot and cold items, many using the games in the evening, absolutely beautifully decorated for the holiday. Such a pleasant stay!

We stayed one Saturday night on a busy summer weekend. Unfortunately there were more cons than pros for us. Pros: It was in a safe area, close to Hyannis, there was free parking, it was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is free breakfast. The grounds are attractive and well kept. Cons: I think the overall problem was that they were clearly understaffed for a busy summer weekend. There was one girl working the evening we were there and at one point there was about 15 people in the lobby all needing something. She did the best she could, poor thing. The hotel was packed, and she was trying to check everyone in, sell items in the snack bar, refill coffee, keep quarters stocked, etc. They needed more staff to keep their amenities usable for guests. We had purposely chosen Hampton above other hotels because they had an arcade for the kids and laundry facilities which we needed desperately at this point in our road trip. Unfortunately, the change machine in the arcade was broken (sorry, no laundry or video games). The poor girl at the counter tried to find quarters but was unsurprisingly cleaned out. In a small town like this it was pretty darn impossible to hunt down $10 in quarters somewhere else. This was a big inconvenience for us. For the price we paid- $437 for one night- I would like to see enough staff to make sure that the amenities are in good working order, that we can use them, and that things like coffee and quarters are kept stocked.

The floors in the hallway were not vacuumed. The elevators walls were not wiped down & the floors were not mopped. The room was great and the cleaning staff did a good job.

Very clean hotel with a yummy breakfast!! And cookies!!

The wall had food on it. There was dirt and popcorn in the sofa bed. There was hair attached to something sticky on the frame of the sofa bed. There was trash overflowing in the hallway trash cans and dirty towels on the floor in the hall. The hot breakfast items were cold.

The location is convenient to many attractions, but getting in and out of the property is a nightmare. It sits on a busy main road with constant traffic, and drivers are reluctant to let you merge. My two-queen-bed room had several issues: the toilet rocked when you sat on it, the floors were not very clean, and the towels had hair on them that definitely didn’t belong to my family. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and the outdoor seating area looked nothing like the photos advertised. Overall, this was a disappointing stay, and I would not choose this hotel again.

The toilet flush was broken, and the toilet was smelly. The hotel should have noticed this before accommodating people in the room. Moreover, the room was not properly cleaned.

This hotel is in a great location. For our stay, it was smack in the middle of everything we planned to do. There were restaurants easily nearby. Our disappointment was with service and accommodation. The room was very nice size and very clean. The mattress was horrendous. We both had difficulty sleeping and awoke with aching back during our stay. I talked to the front desk on the first morning and asked if they could put extra mattress pads or mattress topper on it or perhaps change out the mattress. We were touring all day and came back at night, and to our disappointment, nothing was done, and our room was not serviced by housekeeping as I had requested at check-in the day prior. The next morning, I again asked the desk if they could do something on the mattress, and the clerk, who did not have a name tag on, told me, "I doubt it." When I asked her to check and see if we were marked for housekeeping, she replied, "Yeah, you're on there." I mentioned that I had asked for the prior day too, and it wasn't done, so I just needed to be sure it would be done this day. Her reply was a hasty "You're on the list". We always stay at Hampton Inn when traveling, and I was surprised by the lack of customer service and the attitude of the desk clerks. We are usually very comfortable and very happy at Hampton Inn, This one, while it is very clean as is expected, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and service was poor.

Friendly staff. Jacuzzi in the room was great.Great breakfast. It wasn’t noisy, but I could hear people talking in the halls, so rooms could be more sound proof. But overall I enjoyed my stay.

What is the deal with the bed covers? You simply cannot sleep under those comforters and thats all you have . A b ig huge comforter and a sheet. I have since stayed in two different hotels and they have a sheet, and one small comforter. That's what you should have.

Great little spot! Hotel was very clean. Stayed for the holiday weekend and had a great experience. Beds and pillows weren’t the best, but got the job done!

Everyone was super nice however both my husband and I have back pain and slept terribly due to the mattresses. Other than that the stay was great and the property was very nice.

I couldn’t decide how many stars to give this place because there were good 👍 things and not so good 👎 things that I know were out of the control of the hotel staff. The room they gave us needed some repairs: shower sliding door fell off the track then was super tight to open once we pulled it back on the track. Toilet was not sealed to the floor so it moved when ever we used it. Shower head cap was not sealed to the wall. Bed too firm for us. I called front desk and they upgraded us to a better and remolded room. It is a pet friendly hotel but people need to be more careful keeping pets leashed or at least secured especially if you know your pet is a runner. My husband and I were NOT expecting to be jumped/attacked by a very large dog as we were walking down the hall to the elevator. Pretty scary. The good 👍: staff was wonderful, friendly and welcoming, the breakfast selection was wonderful, cleanliness excellent, plenty of parking. Very close to dock to take the ferry, great restaurants nearby.

Too loud. People above us kept running back and forth in the morning. Also, people in the hallway being too loud. Nothing was done about it. Didn’t sleep well at all because of it.

The bed was comfortable but the air conditioning was on & off & very loud.

Overall, this was a wonderful stay from start to finish. I would absolutely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality hotel experience — and seriously, don’t miss the breakfast lots of choice. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful — it set the tone for a great stay. Used the laundry facilities too they were good

Room not serviced when it was supposed to. We had to almost beg to have the room cleaned and fresh towels. When it was finally serviced ...no bath mat and no extra toilet paper. Terrible job! When checking out the clerk was not at all friendly. We weren't asked how our stay was. We put in a complaint with Hilton Hotels. They said the Hotel manager would call us. The manager did not call us!

We booked a room with a bathtub inside, and when we got there, our room wasn't available! So I had to stay in a cheaper room. Up until then, everything was fine, but I tried to get a refund for the difference in the price of the rooms. Expedia tried to contact the property several times to get my refund, but the property simply wouldn't authorize my refund. So I feel like I was being robbed because they took money that wasn't theirs. The rooms had a huge price difference. On the day I checked in, an employee apologized and said they would give me a discount as an apology. I didn't get the discount or my money back! It's not worth getting the most expensive room with the pool inside. You'll end up in a regular room and paying more for it!

Besides the power outage on our second day, everything was perfect. Ricardo and Mario they are super nice.

Location is great. Easy to get to everything.

Check-in and check-out were easy. Decent continental breakfast, though local coffee shops and breakfast spots are tough to beat, so it's advantage is that it's free and on-site. The nightly 8pm fresh-baked cookie ritual was a pleasant surprise. The property was clean, like all Hampton Inns I've visited. The beds were less comfortable than expected. It wasn't loud after 10pm. The proximity to good restaurants and activities is a plus, right on Main Street in West Yarmouth and close to Main Street in Hyannis.

We enjoyed our stay, the property is very good and quiet but the hotel is on the main street and it's very difficult to in and out.

Our stay was great. Location is close to all amenities and the room was clean, comfortable and nice.

Girls trip brought us here. Hotel was accommodating. Unfortunately hotels.com had wrong information on the room we booked which caused a booking upgrade and extra fee. Hotel employees were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good but need to stay on top of replenishing. Lots of people waiting for food. Had great cookies in the evening. Nice touch!

Lindsey who welcomed us & checked us in was so pleasant. She helped me with a problem that Expedia didn't book another day with them. She had a great personality. Awesome customer service. Sandy who ran the Breakfast Buffet in the mornings also a people person. She took pride in her work. Everything was hot and plenty of breakfast variety. She was constantly cleaning the tables etc. but also talking to the guests. The hotel was very clean. Beautiful Pool & Hot Tub. It was wonderful to find a place that also welcomed our fur baby. Great Stay no complaints. Thank You to Phil & his Staff.

Overall, our stay was average. Nothing is really stand out about the room or the hotel. We did note that the room was very clean (no bad smells) compared to other hotels in the area (where most hotel room smells very mildewy - and we know because we have been visiting enroute to Nantucket for 15 years +). So this is a big plus! But what was most disappointing was the breakfast area and food - the area is too small to accommodate the overflow of guests at this time of year. It was wall to wall people. And most of the food was either gone or picked over. We were on a time crunch, so we could not wait for a table or for the food to replenish. Otherwise, average stay but would suggest looking elsewhere for breakfast :)
