Il aurait fallut noter en tout premier qu il faut être sourd pour dormir dans la chambre n 4 car être réveillé à 5 h 48 pour le bruit de l extracteur de la climatisation est pénible. Le soir l extracteur s arrête de fonctionner à 21 h45. Une employée du resto me l a confirmé. Mes boules quies ont guère été efficace et mon mari qui a un sommeil profond s est réveillé aussi. Ne venez pas avec des grosses valises :3 petits escaliers raides pour accéder aux chambres Et vous ne voyez personne de l hôtel Les gentils employés du resto ne gèrent pas l hôtel. Sinon à part cela la ch n 4: lit confortable Quartier sympa mais pour nous le sommeil est important. Il faudrait revoir cet extracteur et insonoriser les chambres. J ai lu dans les commentaires qu une personne avait signalé ce problème déjà

We stayed in Chamber 2 for the 1 evening , at the end of our trip- 2 beds, and a very large bathroom. Everything was layed out so well, vey clean, lovely view. A/c worked great. Everything thought of for our stay and to feel comfortable! Small fridge on the floor. Frodge, microwave, plastic utensils and water cooler on main floor. We Had trouble with the key entry at check in, but communication with staff was quick! Metro grocery store close by with very reasonably priced groceries! We didn't go to the cafe as we had already spent a week in Québec, and our eating out budget spent, but walking past it, looked charming!

Fabulous location. Hop on, hop off is just down the street. Must try Cousins, biggest croissants ever. Room was very clean but beware of the stairs you climb to get to the door.

The location is great, in a part of Québec with lots of restaurants and shops. We were able to find on-street parking overnight (free,) and the bartender gave us advice on that and how to find nearby low cost parking options. Our room had a balcony, which was lovely. The arrangement of this Petit Hotel on top of the Café was ok. I had to find the bartender to access our room, since our booking through Expedia did not reveal the room #. A guest who arrived later at night had the same problem with online booking, and had to try their access code on numerous rooms to get in. A glitch with online check-in, apparently. The key code system also meant that the main door to the hotel did not always get locked. It seemed like a fairly safe neighborhood, but I didn't consider that ideal. Be aware of the stairs - no lift and the stairs up to the entrance would be an impediment for mobility challenges. Breakfast at the café was good, lots of choices. Our bathroom was down the hall from the room, which was inconvenient but workable. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay. Great food. I enjoyed breakfast at the cafe. FYI There are stairs as there is no elevator. Some rooms the bathroom is in the hall. I had Chamber 2 great size room with bathroom in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

Petit Hôtel Café Krieghoff is a small and elegant hotel located above the cafe in a great location. Rue Cartier is an interesting street full of activity in a very pleasant neighbourhood. A supermarket, pharmacy, liquor store and restaurants are all close by. Bus stops to the city and to Montmorency Falls are each a short walk away and walking into the old town is easy enough. The hotel is compact - only 6 rooms I believe - and despite being over a cafe, is very quiet. Our room was nicely decorated with a good size bathroom. There isn't a fridge in the room but one is provided in the common lounge area together with a hot/cold water fountain. The staff were charming and ready to help with any request. Breakfast is provided in the cafe below and is wonderful - you're provided a $25 per person credit to use for anything you desire on the menu - and is available until early afternoon. Highly recommended.

A estadia no hotel foi ótima. Foram solícitos e o quarto é extremamente confortável e limpo. O banheiro era renovado e tinha todos os itens necessários. A localização também é excelente, a rua tem vários restaurantes, lojas e um mercado. O único ponto é que não há elevador e é necessário subir uma escada para acessar o hotel, não nos incomodou mas pode ser difícil para pessoas com alguma dificuldades.

A very nice room, excellent bathroom and extremely clean. The thermostat was set at 10 degrees when we arrived and a sign above said, do not touch. We turned the heat up slightly for the night and then set it back to 10 in the morning.

I love our stay at this hotel. It’s clean, friendly, and great for families. However, there is no reception desk. A lady stops by once daily to clean the room; if she misses you, no one will stop by later. I’d give the hotel five stars if it were for this lady. She opened our doors even when the do-not-disturb sign was on.

My husband and I loved our time at Hotel Krieghoff. The room (#5) had everything we needed and was incredibly clean and comfortable. Although this room is right off of the main lobby, it has double doors and is very quiet. It was nice having access to the mini fridge, water, and lounge area right outside our room. We had no contact with the staff, but felt if we needed something they would be able to accommodate. We found the hotel to be perfectly situated, as we spent our few days walking between Old Quebec, Saint Sauveur, Saint Roch, and Saint Jean Baptist neighborhoods. The offerings on Av. Cartier we're also great: plenty of restaurants, epiceries, and treats. The Montcalm neighborhood is a delight with it's tree-lined streets and easy access to the Plains of Abraham. Parking was a breeze as well. We arrived on a Saturday, so were able to leave our car on the street for two days. Then, we moved it to the (very affordable) public lot a block away. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and will certainly stay here again!

L’endroit est bien situé sur une rue remplie de cafés, terrasses, boutiques, petits commerces. Les lieux sont adéquats mais il y aurait intérêt à de nombreuses améliorations: Ex: Les joints entre tuiles de céramique de la douche comportent des traces importantes de moisissures. Le manque de prises électriques est déplorable lorsque l’on souhaite recharger nos téléphones intelligents et autres accessoires. Matelas trop ferme à notre avis. L ‘image de la télé est très neigeuse digne d’un téléviseur à oreilles de lapin des années 70, l’installation de celle-ci est assez douteuse. La gestion des stationnements exige de s’y consacrer un peu pour éviter les contraventions, et n’avons pas reçu de consignes par le personnel qui s’avère pas du tout présent en raison de la nature de l’hébergement. This hotel was such a unique and wonderful place to stay. Our unit was so spacious and we both truly appreciate the artistic decor. The communication for arriving late went smoothly and the breakfast which we paid extra for was delightful as was the dining room. The staff very friendly too! Thank you very much!

The area is very trendy and lots of food options. The room was nice and the Cafe below is nice. There is a pub across the street, and our room faces the street so it can get noisy until later at night.

great little hotel, in a very central location. rooms are small and cozy. bathrooms are not in the room itself, so a little less practical. the cafe is definitely the highlight, reminded me of paris. best coffee i’ve had in ages.

The room was very nice, the hotel was quiet and comfortable. The hotel is close to shops, dining and entertainment. There is no reception on site so if you need anything it is a little inconvenient, while we were there we emailed the host/owner a question and never received a reply. The cafe downstairs is convenient but the service is very slow, the night staff was better than the morning staff.

Supposedly, property emailed me with door code but I didn't receive it. Good thing someone outside the premises told me to get it from cafe below. Set up was okay but management could have exerted a little welcoming effort. Lighting inside wasn't bright enough. Floor lamp has no working switch, safe deposit has no key (but eventually replaced). Common area has small fridge with bottled water, also microwave. Would have been nice to have mugs to microwave in, as the water dispenser with hot option wasn't working. Hallway alarm kept on beeping (thankfully falsely so no CO or fires) but Frederick did come to disconnect it altogether. The mini cake of soap had a strong detergent smell to it. The bed frame creaked everytime i sat on it. Hotel was full and i did hear other guests come and go, hut everyone was quiet during sleeping time so I was able to sleep just fine. So ok accommodations but could be improved.

I love our stay at this hotel. It’s clean, friendly, and great for families. However, there is no reception desk. A lady stops by once daily to clean the room; if she misses you, no one will stop by later. I’d give the hotel five stars if it were for this lady. She opened our doors even when the do-not-disturb sign was on.

My boyfriend and I had an excellent stay at Cafe Krieghoff during the second week of the winter carnival. The hotel was easy to find and we were given a lock number prior to our stay which made arrival and departure smooth. We had no problem finding free street parking nearby, and enjoyed being near so many restaurants/bars that were lively at night. I was pleasantly surprised by how great of a spot this truly was. I would absolutely stay here again. A few small recommendations: - provide dollar store slippers or give customers a heads up that your bathroom will be located down the hall so they can bring their own. - add a couple of coat hooks in the room. Wardrobe wasn’t great for hanging up big winter coats - a small door mat in the room would be helpful to avoid trekking snow/water on the floors If you choose to stay here, check out the chocolate shop at the end of the street across from metro. Their ice cream and chocolates were DELICIOUS.

Petit Hôtel Café Krieghoff is a small and elegant hotel located above the cafe in a great location. Rue Cartier is an interesting street full of activity in a very pleasant neighbourhood. A supermarket, pharmacy, liquor store and restaurants are all close by. Bus stops to the city and to Montmorency Falls are each a short walk away and walking into the old town is easy enough. The hotel is compact - only 6 rooms I believe - and despite being over a cafe, is very quiet. Our room was nicely decorated with a good size bathroom. There isn't a fridge in the room but one is provided in the common lounge area together with a hot/cold water fountain. The staff were charming and ready to help with any request. Breakfast is provided in the cafe below and is wonderful - you're provided a $25 per person credit to use for anything you desire on the menu - and is available until early afternoon. Highly recommended.

Great spot to stay! Loved Cartier Avenue with all the shops, restaurants, and little market next-door! very clean, comfortable room and the breakfast was delicious. This hotel has a lot of character, which is what we were looking for on our visit to Old Quebec.

Very quiet fully renovated, small cozy rooms with amazing amenities around. Lots of shopping opportunities and a really nice café downstairs with superbly delicious breakfast (the strawberry fresh jam is to die for!!) 10/10 stay we will come back!

Nous aurions une réserve concernant l'offre de "déjeuner inclus": quand on réserve, il y a possibilité d'ajouter le déjeuner pour 15$ par personne, mais cette "offre" n'est en réalité qu'un crédit reporté sur le déjeuner. Au moment de manger, tout ce qui dépasse le montant doit être défrayé par le client. Pourquoi parler de "déjeuner inclus"? Mystère. Nous vous conseillons donc de ne pas opter pour cette option. We loved our stay. We had a balcony that we enjoyed every night. The only thing that could be added is a coffee maker in the room or in the lobby area. Also ice. Our bathroom was down the hallway, but it was private and worked out great for us. We will stay here again!

Excellent location and staff. Room and bathroom were modern and clean. Could have used better lighting and a little coffee maker for the first morning coffee. Also would have liked a functioning tv. Otherwise we enjoyed the location which is walking distance to many interesting sights.
