No parking at this hotel. My husband had to find a parking garage, it took him 2 hours to find one that was in the proximity to our hotel (a few blocks away) and not full. For what we paid for our room it was small, only one chair for the desk, one sink in the bathroom in which there was no space to put your toiletries and the shower was too close to the toilet so getting in and out of the shower was very tight.

Property was clean, great housekeeping completed on the room while there. Front desk staff were fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful. Only issue was bartender at lounge left for over 30 minutes and we had to wait on her return to pay the bill . Given the limited hours for bartender, we were surprised at this.

I paid extra for a city view and hardly have a view. The windows are tiny and dirty- not worth it in the slightest. I’m really upset for paying extra. It takes 20 min to get an elevator.

Location was ok; staff were super friendly; waiting for elevators (3 there but not all working) was atrocious- always 15 minutes, then it could be full and have to wait longer. Wasn't aware of any amenities, but there was a little bar in lobby- not private and not really somewhere you'd do to sit and have a conversation with someone- would only stay again if no where else available

Great location in terms of walking to Times Square, fifth Ave, Rockefeller Plaza, all with in 20 minutes, parking on the other hand was difficult with a full size truck and options. Expected this with this being a city but something to think about.

Overall good but tap in bathroom should have been extended more - tight to wash hands -hitting back of sink. Elevators slow. Should have one designated for cleaning staff during the day - too many offs and ons. Ice should be on every 5th floor. Having to go to level C is time consuming. Water in lobby should be available in evenings. Should have min 4 bath towels - only 3. No clock in room. It would be nice to see foam pillows.

This hotel was clean, rooms were comfortable size for Manhatten, conveniently located, decent gym, and economically priced. Bar was never open but there are 400 bars within blocks. Nice views as well.

Location is just a few steps past cleaner, brighter areas closer to Times Square. Though the elevator sometimes took 10 minutes, the staff and hotel were great.

Upon checking in we found the air conditioner noisy, water temperature in the bath sink would be extremely hot then go cold and then back to hot, the fitted sheets on the beds were too small and came off the mattress at night, shower head was erratic spraying, maid would take our towels during the day and not replace them and the door on the sink vanity would not stay shut. In addition, some of the 120 volt AC outlet plug would not hold a plug and last of all the windows were not washed for a very long time. On a positive note, the employees at the front desk were very helpful with trying to resolve some of these problems. It’s time to do a major overhaul on this property.

The hotel worked quite well for us: very central location for a reasonable reasonable price. You can find everything nearby. The bus station is across the street and there is a great rooftop practically next door, Dear Irving, which we enjoyed on a rainy night; reservations recommended. We walked to the hotel from Penn Station and the next day walked to Hudson Yards. There a subway station two blocks away. The rooms are on the small side; ours was OK for two people. The toiletries were good quality, with generous pumps, and the room had all the basics. My only complaint is that my towel came with long dark hair from a previous guest, which was quite unpleasant to discover. Nevertheless, I would return.

We didn’t get new towels and no one gave us shampoo when we ran out. No one cleaned the room even though we didn’t have a sign. When my partner asked for extra towels because we didn’t have any clean ones, they gave us some and it had someone’s hair in it. When I told them at the reception, they said they would send clean towels and they never did.

Great place for staying when visiting NY on a budget. The breakfast was great and the location is super centric with Times Square within minutes from the hotel. There is also a subway station right around the corner. This hotel is super clean in all areas. All in all, it is a great affordable place to stay in NYC. Will stay again at this location on my next trip.

The hotel is not comfortable. The shower floor is very dirty. The noises from outside and the guests from the next door are very disturbing. I will not stay in the hotel again nor recommend.

The staff was nice. The room smelled moldy. It was very small. Although the staff was told of the smell (wet moldy carpet), the only thing that was done was a lot of air freshener by housekeeping.

It was a calm nice hotel that is in a good place. Couple of issues though. Streaming kept getting interrupted every 20min and I would have to turn the TV off and On to fix it. Also one outlet in the restroom was not working. Aside from that it was pleasant

Love the location and cleanliness of the property. Very easybto get around to many areas, as the subway is also very close by. Rooms and especially bathrooms are a bit on the smaller side if you have more than 2 people, but manageable for sure.

Property met my basic needs. Staff were warm and welcoming. The room was cleaned very late in the evenings sometimes inconvenient as I liked to rest at that time. The air con unit was noisy- like a jumbo jet taking off - the whole thing vibrated. So it woke me many times durning the night.

Perfect location! Everything is close and within walking distance. Very good area to weather traveling for business or checking out the city. Chloe and Jackie, checked us in and were amazing. Wonderful Marriott staff, nice room, decent facility. Near port authority which unfortunately is a magnet for homeless people and characters harassing you for money. NY is not safe and no police presence. The hotel’s fine. NY is not.

The property was a good value and, for Manhattan, a good sized room. However, it is right across the street from the Port Authority Bus terminal which is a great convenience for travelers but there is fairly open drug use in the immediate area. Overall we felt safe in the immediate property but sometimes getting to and from the hotel after hours felt unsafe but during regular workday hours seemed pretty safe. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. We got immediate service for a minor plumbing issue in the room and we got an early check in which was appreciated after traveling.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a decent experience. The staff was excellent—friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. The location is very convenient, especially if you're planning to explore NYC. It’s just a short walk from Port Authority, several subway stations, and Times Square, making it highly walkable and well-connected. That said, be aware that the area around Port Authority can feel a bit shady at night. It wasn’t a major issue, but something to keep in mind if you're walking back late. As for the room itself, it was extremely small, with very limited space to move around. I was on the 7th floor and unfortunately, the view was quite poor. The layout could use some improvement—particularly the placement of mirrors, which wasn’t very practical. The bed was comfortable, but again, space was tight. The lighting in the room could be improved. If you're looking for a well-located hotel and don’t mind compact rooms, this could be a good choice. Just manage your expectations when it comes to room size and views.

It was in the great and convenient location close to Times Square. Very easy to walk or take subway to anywhere in Manhattan. The property seems a bit old. Breakfast is really good and staff are always helpful!

We visited NY for our daughter's 16th birthday. It was the first for all of us. The staff was nice and our housekeeper, breakfast attendants, and the bartender were exceptional. At breakfast, they were patient with my daughter being daef and the bartender kept us entertained. I wish I could remember there names! But the air conditioning could be a little colder! The down side to the visit had nothing to do with the hotel stay. You all did great!

The location is fantastic for walking and transportation - close to Penn Station trains and buses as well as all the local MTA lines. The room was very thoughtfully furnished, clean, and well lit with its own thermostat. My reservation included breakfast which was a very nice buffet with both hot and cold breakfast options and the most welcoming staff. I would happily stay here again!

Good location for walking to Times Square, Bryant Park. Staff and bartender are very nice. Rooms and bathroom are very small, little storage and no microwave so not good choice for families. Also, the water gets dangerously hot so check before showering, etc. Overall nice stay.
