Great as a place to put one's head down, nice and quiet. The rooms were a little dated and small, Most of the money appears to have gone on the dining room, which is beautifully decorated. Breakfast was to order, I would suggest different pricing of porridge vs full breakfast. You don't always fancy the latter, but feel compelled to in order to get your money's worth. The hotel was spotless and the staff attentive. Great location for hiking routes, a 10-15 min walk down a hill into Pitlochry, with a bus stop outside, which was useful for the visit to the visit to the distillery (walked there, bussed back). Would definitely stay again. Free parking was a bonus.

Friendly check in. Clean room. Excellent breakfast and the dinner in restaurant was one of the best Indian meals I have had. Recommended.

This hotel is very clean but the room facilities are a bit basic. no air conditioning. BUT what I need to emphasise is that it has a fantastic Indian restaurant attached. Its not the traditional korma, various strengths of curries. there are some very subtle flavours and we all loved it. Its on the outskirts of Pitlochry We were staying there as a pit stop from Ullapool back to Hull and if you are just looking for a place to stop and don't want to think abut where you might eat then I would recommend this place. Great range of whiskies as well.
