Excellent Beach access, food was decent and safe choice. beach service was fast and the attendants were excellent. For getting around Miami, the location is a bit difficult - you will need to use a car service or have a car to get around.

Right on the beach with a pool and beach chairs and umbrellas available with food and drink service to both. Property is well maintained and staff was very friendly and easy to work with. About a block away from multiple restaurants and grocery stores.

Staff was very accomodating. The elevators need some serious attention. Beach towels not available at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, and that was disappointing, especially with no advance warning so you could bring a room towel and not to have to wait another 20 minutes for an elevator ride. The location is good, the views are very nice, and the hotel was maintained well. I read previous reviews about elevator dissatisfaction, and must agree, that will require strong consideration when making future travel plans.

Stunning view of the ocean from our balcony. Suite was well appointed, large, quiet and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Nice gym on the property. Pool a little small but the ocean was so beautiful it didn’t matter because we didn’t feel the need to go in the pool at all. We would return to the Solé again!

Beautiful property, currently construction doesn't allow beach access which would have been good to know ahead of booking. Showers are rainfall only, no regular shower head, so you can't shower off without getting your hair wet. Always should have both shower heads!

Way below our expectations. Do not be fooled by the photos. The rooms are very old and poorly maintained. The pool was extremely dirty — every single day we saw either pieces of mucus or chipped nail polish floating in the water. There is absolutely no control system within the hotel. For example, someone was vaping on a lounge chair right by the pool and no one said a word. Another guest played loud music from her large speaker and again, nobody intervened. Our kids couldn’t even enter the sea because there was an unbelievable amount of seaweed. Even if not every day, we would have liked to see at least some effort to clean it up during our stay. The website said the room had a “fully stocked” mini fridge, but we were told it’s currently not in service. There wasn’t even drinking water provided in the room. The bed linens smelled bad, probably because they had been left damp. This was our first and definitely our last stay.

What a pathetic organization. I booked two nights here and upon arriving my room was full of dirt and what appeared to be saw dust. It was all over the walls, floor, lamps and bathroom, it was odd. The bed also had a stain on it. I’m allergic to dust so I asked to be moved to another room. The manager said no they don’t have options for me, even thought there were rooms available to book on their site and on Expedia. I left the hotel and paid peak pricing to stay somewhere else. After a WEEK of asking for a refund they finally said no we aren’t doing anything. I will eagerly cheer on your hotel to fail. Their lobby is full of angry guests, do not stay here there are way better options.

Would NOT recommend this hotel. The room was not clean upon further inspection. Toilet wouldn't flush properly, air conditioner in one of the bedrooms would not cool, dirty bedding on one of the beds, light in bedroom didn't work. They ran out of water in hotel lobby store and when I asked to purchase more, they told me to go to wal greens. My daughter's toe was slammed by the door coming in from the beach and was bleeding so I went to the front desk to ask if the hotel had a first aid kit and was told no go to wal greens. Was also awoken to constant banging from what seem to be coming from the room next door

I liked the location right by the beach and the accessibility to local diners and grocery stores. All employees were very friendly as well. The hotel was generally very nice but when we moved in, we noticed some minor details, like a slightly dirty toilet seat, and slightly dirty floor by the entrance hallway to our two suites. It seems they were taken care of later but perhaps they were missed prior to our move in. Overall, it was a great experience and we loved it

I really had a pleasant stay here and want to give it a 5-star review, but there are few things that prevent me to do so which I will include below. Room - I had the Ocean View room on the 21st floor which was majestic! great view of the ocean and the beach both from the room and the living room! It was very spacious, comparable to sizable 1 bedroom apartment with a living room with a gigantic full-size mirror my wife loved, 1.5 bathrooms, bedroom with a tv, and fully functioning kitchen with microwave, induction, refrigerator and dishwasher. I really liked the bath tub which was deep, and overhead shower providing vertical flow. As you can see from the photos, the view and balcony were amazing. Service - No real complaints of the service, the staff were courteous and fast. Housekeeping was pretty good, and they take care of your dirty dishes as well. I do wish the front desk had changes for my $20 bills so I could break them for tips. There were spots on the kitchen surfaces that were not cleaned. Location - Sunny Isles Beach is a great location. The beaches are pretty and quiet, and the hotel give you access to the beach spots with towels and everything. Also, there is Walgreens and decent restaurants within 10 min walking distance, which is a big plus. Downside is that it's quite a ride if you want to hit up the main areas of Miami Beach or Miami. I was grateful for my room being ready two hours early and being on a high floor with a great ocean view. The furniture was pretty worn in the bedroom, the closet doors were entirely broken. There is only a single chair on the balcony in a double bed room. Not table, not second chair. Huge miss. The bathroom seemed newly appointed and in good shape. It did take upwards of 12 minutes just to get the shower hot, though, which is a lot of wasted water. The staff here was mostly okay, but no one made you feel at home or like they were happy you were there. The nicest staff were the valet guys and I didn’t even have a car. The on site Baleen kitchen was a beautiful restaurant but the servers in there had no idea what they were doing and whether I went in the morning or afternoon, food service would be slow and no one appeared to think about what a table would need. Getting them to even notice you at the restaurant was hard, and often the place was empty. I think I see why now. I was sat one day for lunch, they took my order and never asked if I wanted anything to drink. The water that always came with every seating prior never showed up either. The restaurant feels like it has no oversight whatsoever and charges you a small fortune for mediocre food. Save your money and go offsite.

We stayed in room 1505 B. The room is tiny, you can’t even walk around the bed and there is no furniture on the balcony. We paid around $ 1000 in total for two nights. The bathroom was large. It was clean, bed was comfortable. The resort fee of $ 43 gets you lounge chairs on the beach. There is bar service at the beach but everything is served in single use plastic which based on the amount of wind and the carefulness of people sometimes litters the beach and the staff doesn’t really bother to pick up around the area they serve. Unfortunately that is also the case along the beach.

Likes: beachside cabanas with excellent food service, beautiful restaurant spot overlooking water, room with separate kitchenette and living room quarters. Easy to walk to water, bottomless mimosas and avocado bagels with eggs and locks. Dislikes: parking fees 40, resort fees (60?) far to S. Beach, not many good restaurants within walking distance, small size of hotel lobby and accommodations, shower was inside bathtub area with handle for turning on water right under the spout.

The staff really went above and beyond to be at service. Upon arrival, Juan was amazing accommodating us and really being very personable. At the beach, the guys were friendly and attentive. John Ray and Mark went above and beyond to find our desire spots and ensuring we had al we needed. The staff really made the place !! The poolside bar is another plus!! The food is pretty good! We will definitely go back !!

This was my first stay at Sole. Based on past reviews, I was expecting more. Pros: cleanliness and overall condition of the property is great. I had the oceanfront suite so I had all amenities I needed for a 4 day family stay. Also proximity to the ocean and having an unobstructed full oceanfront view on a high floor was excellent. That’s where my pros end. Cons: Front desk customer service is absolutely awful. I typically don’t leave negative reviews bc I suck it up, but the service here was so bad management ought to be aware if they want repeat customers and raving fans. FD staff never greet you with a smile, never say welcome you back when going in and out of the property, check in was grumpy and very unwelcoming. Service at the Restaurant on site is ridiculously slow even when there aren’t that many tables booked. Pool could some massive upgrades in terms of seats and ambiance. If you’re here for a day or two, I would recommend this place but I would not recommend if you’re here for longer and looking for good service.

We arrived a little early, fully understanding that our room might not be ready. We simply wanted to drop off our bags and check—just in case. However, the front desk clerk was noticeably rude and informed us that while the room was ready, it would cost an extra $100 to check in early. In all my years of traveling, I’ve never encountered such a charge presented in such an off-putting manner. Additionally, there was a resort fee that we were not made aware of prior to booking, which added to the frustration. The room itself was underwhelming—just average at best. The tile looked worn and dated, and the towels and washcloths were rough, clearly made from cheap material. The thermostat on the wall didn’t work properly, and the room remained uncomfortably hot throughout our stay. Worse, the sliding glass door to the balcony didn’t lock, which felt like a serious safety concern. Right on the beach, very quiet area. Chairs, towels and umbrellas right on the beach with food/beverage service to your chair! Staff was amazing with the exception of the one person that checked us in. Every other staff interaction was 10/10. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Some parts of the hotel are a bit older but has generally been kept up very well. Elevators can be a bit slow but it sounds like an upgrade is in the works. Nice but expensive restaurant in the building. Need to Uber to most attractions (Hollywood Beach, downtown, etc.) Overall a low stress very relaxing and comfortable stay!

The hotel staff was great. We love the fact that, while quick, noone was rushing around, everyone was happy to give you all the time you needed to do whatever it is that you needed. A great personal touch. Ming is a gem! the the beach is clean, the food was good.

My bf and I really enjoyed staying here. The staff was helpful and we felt safe and the location is key. So many stores walkable. My only complaint is the drinks and food weren’t great but weren’t bad … just okay. Also , expected automatic gratuity charges added to every request. I would absolutely stay here again !!

The hotel is in a good location on the beach. The service qt the restaurant was really disappointing even though it did not have many people and i reserved a time. Waited on my table for 40 mins and food was served separately and just warm. Bedrooms are comfy but i never slept due to broken toilet constantly flushing. Also founch a roach in the bathroom. Also went down to grab a sun lounger at 6pm and staff was rude.

I really loved the uniqueness of this property. It was in the middle of everything, yet the service felt like a small town. The beach was nicely set up with chairs, umbrellas, and chair covers. Waiter service was available. We sat in the restaurant for lunch and had a lovely view of the ocean. Food was delish, but mostly loved my Southside cocktail made perfectly.

It was a relaxing spring break and we had a really good time. What I didn't like was the breakfast at the hotel, it was really bad and we never ate there again but we went somewhere else 10-15 minutes walk away, the cleanliness of the pool was also not good, however we stayed there more because the kids love the pool. The room was small but nice but even there it wasn't cleaned properly, if I didn't tell them to change the sheets they just fixed them, from Friday to Tuesday they just fixed them but didn't change them when they had the cleaning of the day, when you came back to the room you just looked at what they had arranged but the cleaning hadn't been done. The people who served at the bar by the pool were very good, all very polite. Overall it was a relaxing experience and we had a good time apart from these details of cleanliness in the room and in the pool. The location was very good and there were many facilities around, restaurants, bars, markets.

This is a great budget friendly property. The building is older but maintained. Could do with a refresh. The food and service at the restaurant is excellent. The beach area is great and makes for a nice afternoon swimming and enjoying the sights. Plenty of shopping near by. All around good property.
