The location was convenient. It was cold and they had apple cider in lobby which was nice. The staff were friendly. Loved having a restaurant and snack area in the hotel. Our shower was not cleaned well. I did not like the daily fee. A few minor checkin/checkout oddities. For example never received my checkout invoice.

A well run hotel at a reasonable cost for NYC. Its location is good but work has been ongoing on the exterior for much more than a year, which makes it more challenging to find the hotel. Staff is excellent and helpful. We’ve stayed here twice and will try to stay in the future if the room prices don’t go up too much.

We stayed two nights. The rooms and the common areas were clean. When we arrived the rooms were not ready even at the check in time 3 pm. The staff were not attentive enough to inform us about the delay in assigning the room and did not provide details of the coffee machine in the common area. The rooms did not have any coffee machine or microwave. There are plenty of places to get food within 5 min walking. The hotel did not have onsite parking. But provided a parking garage that gave discounted parking when validated - $50 + tax per day for SUV. Hotel also charged a mandatory hotel fee of $33/per day. They gave $29 credit per day to use towards any food or drink at the hotel cafe. The house keeping was be done every other day unless it is requested daily. Overall our stay was enjoyable.

Nice location but the 1 of 2 elevators were out of service and the area outside of each room on the floors had no AC so waiting for the elevator in the lobby for 10-15 minutes in the NY heat was no fun

I had a wonderful stay at Distrikt Hotel and I highly recommend it! The location is perfect, with easy access to many attractions and public transport. The staff at the reception were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The most important thing for me is cleanliness, and I was so pleased to find that the rooms were not only spotless but also smelled fresh and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. A great experience overall!

Very clean. Showers were amazing. Front desk super efficient, room ready upon arrival even though hotel sold out. Room was initially too warm and maintenance literally came up w my husband to adjust heating, then temperature was great.

Actually, the front desk they’re very helpful they let me check in very early. I had something a treatment done that day. I was tired so let me check in at 11 in the morning so I can lay down and get some rest and then in the middle night I got up I was in the bathroom And I thought I was saying things I seen a cockroach crawling on the path floor and I took the towel and hit it and killed it and left the towel underneath the sink when I checked out, I mentioned it to the front desk

The Hotel was subpar for the price. We found a bug in one of the beds, carpets had stains, and lengthy waits for elevators when we were on a 22 floor. They charged a destination fee which we acknowledge but there is no way we would have eaten at that restaurant. Would not stay There again or recent at all. there or

The property was nice and clean on the inside. The outside had a construction platform setup that made the sign hard to see making the hotel hard to find. My room faced that platform so the view was not great.

Hotel was fine,pretty bare bones (no fridge, no coffee maker, only half of one outlet worked), but the location was what we needed. However, the check-in was great. Robbi helped us and was absolutely fantastic. Super funny and friendly! *beware of the required $29 'on-site' fee that you need to use at their restaurant. They'll charge you $29 no matter what, so make sure to grab a snack or a drink. Not clear at all when i made the reservation. *

After reading reviews about late-added costs upon check-in and witnessing customers in line ahead of me complaining about the same, I had some trepidation. In the end, I ended up paying exactly what hotels.com charged me, but only after a lengthy and confusing explanation at check-in about the $29 daily credit upcharge, from which you can deduct your breakfast charges, etc. This lead me to believe I'd be charged over what I'd agreed to with Hotels.com, which I went along with as I had no other options after a long day of travel. They told me that "all hotels in NYC do this"- this is not true, only about a third of those that I stayed in do, usualy the lower-price options like this one. At any rate, it all worked out in the end, and to my surprise the final bill was the hotels.com rate. Room was quiet- on 20th floor- but parts of the bathroom were falling apart (towel rack detaching from wall, shower nozzle loose, etc). Bed was comfortable, room very small but ok. Room generally clean, staff pleasant. Overall, an acceptable, but not spectacular, stay.

Friendly and gave me some great recommendations for restaurants. Location is solid. Very close to the train station, very close to subway access, walking distance to Times Square and Central Park. Pretty much perfect spot to be. On a semi-quiet street, less hobos than Phoenix, zero issue. Room (905) was great. Appears to be 5 rooms per floor - a room ending in "05" will be on the back of the building and will be very quiet. Clean and comfortable, daily housekeeping. Size was fine, waaaaay bigger than what I was expecting, especially compared to Tokyo, Osaka or Hong Kong. Slept great. Will be a go-to with future NYC trips. I would consider booking night before or the day-of. Room was about $60 less expensive than my booking 3 weeks prior. Roll the dice but might save you some cash

Rooms are very quiet and clean but small. The staff is very friendly and helpful but you can only get ice if they bring it to your room and it took 4 requests across two days to get a bucket of ice. My mother's room was missing any hand soap and that took 90 minutes to get them to deliver it to her even though the front desk and bellman did not appear busy. The cafe/bar was nice with good food and service.

THE STAFF!!!! So friendly and helpful. Ease of every interaction and encounter. From front desk, doormen and bartender. Only complaint, $18 Margarita was WAY too small for that price. I would definitely stay again, except for the mandatory "convenience fee". Couldn't even get two drinks without spending more money in a use it or lose it scenario, only disappointment.

This is a great basic hotel in NYC! No frills but super clean and friendly staff. It is also right beside a major station - if youre used to commuting then should be fine. Might be a big station for those who are unfamiliar with metro systems. There is some sort of probation office right before you hit the strip of various hotels on this street so sometimes a few interesting characters there! But there are 5-7 hotels all in a row near this one so lots of tourists. As a warning, there is a $29 fee per day that you must pay but you can use it as credits towards the snack bar/restaurant. However, from what I could tell this will be the same cost as your expedia price youre given! Finally - location is super walkable to times square / central park / broadway plays but tucked away so you don’t have to go through there every night like some other popular hotels. Would definitely stay again!

Great staff and they offered free hot apple cider. We were a family of four and create a lot of trash so we would take our trash down every other day or so. We also don’t like folks to tidy our space, but we were able to grab new towels and have the old ones picked up. The cafe’s food was good as well. We didn’t know about the ability to be picked up and dropped off at the airport. Be sure to ask them about it.

Great convenient location walkable to public transportation (Penn Station and Port Authority Bus Terminal) and tons of restaurants. Also easy to catch Uber a short walk away. Not too noisy even on a weekend night. Cafe downstairs is a plus, especially with the included credit, and serves delicious Chai lattes!

Hotel is fine, clean, good beds - a very safe choice. It is basic in terms of amenities - no way to make. Offer or tea (station in lobby), plastic water cups, etc. Desk staff award friendly and helpful. “destination charge” of $29 is annoying - make sure you use the food credit upon arrival to buy some over priced drinks and snacks in the restaurant as it is useless the next day. So perfectly fine somewhat budget option ( budget for mid-town bad 8 stars or above that is).

Location fantastic.. bed and bedroom really comfy Bar staff very unhelpful and couldn’t get a coffee unless you went at breakfast… no coffee and tea making facilities in rooms and no bathrobes as advertised
