Easy walk into town and good parking. The rooms were really clean, well thought out and in great condition. The reception should be open longer. There were lots of people wanting to check in/out of the operation times, not uncommon given the distances people have to travel. When I did need reception, it didn’t open on time and no one answered the phone. The gym isn’t 24/7 as stated in all the literature. Additionally, it didn’t have all the equipment shown on the website and it’s very rundown.

Parking a bit tight

Clean and comfortable room located near many shops & restaurants. Washer/dryer conveniently accessible on-site. Management is efficient and caring. Free parking Bonus: Sauna available for guests!

Only stayed for one night. Room was nice and clean. Staff friendly and attentive. Easy parking although a bit cramped. Close enough to CBD to walk and enjoy the scenery

great room, spacious & with a kitchen that had a good mount of kitchenware. but no elevator and as this was part of a long trip we had heavy suitcases to bring up. Very nice & helpful staff. poor parking, glad we didn't have to park a car. I highly recommend Vudu cafe for breakfast.

Nice room, large comfy bed, loved having a bath. Walkable to town. Parking available onsite.

Difficult parking

We had a good stay. Great location, pretty central. Parking was a bit tight but free and it worked out.

Lovely clean , we were on ground floor room facing the intersection but street noise was not an issue, mostly quiet. A little dated, bathroom could use a good tidy up. Room clean and beds comfy, shower over bath great pressure, Antipodes toiletries good surprise. Staff friendly. Overall - great location, place to stay! Parking is a problem if you have a medium to large vehicle, carpark space is tight to manoeuvre or turn around. Good practise to get out of tough positions 😆. Thank you for a lovely 4 night stay. Would stay again.

The amount for the overnight stay was inadvertently debited twice. I have not yet received the refund. The bed linen was bloody and I also had to complain about this. The car park was positive. That was about it.

We did get a room upgrade. Shower was abit dirty, was nice and cheap. Was ok experience

The property is very "dated" cleanliness is not good, the mattress had huge staines covered by toppers etc, very uncomfortable mattresses

Very dated and old. Not clean. The room had a very bad odor when we arrived. The carpet was full of stains. The bathroom was not cleaned properly. Very very expensive for what you get. This was the most expensive and the worst place we stayed in during our 2 week long trip around New Zeeland. I would not recommend Hurleys to anyone. Absolutely terrible!

Close to town, clean & tidy with nice amenities.

It was affordable and staff were responsive and helpful. Bathroom toilet seat was broken and tub was very slippery stepping out.

Black Mould in the bathroom, very old and dated/chipped cabinetry, dust piled up in the bathroom vent, Grime built up on the light switches. No aircon just an oil Heater. Out of their control was the roadworks happening outside however $50 a night more than our following stays in Queenstown makes it extremely overpriced for what you get, or dont get

Hurleys is ideally located for both Queenstown's active centre and ease of getting to both ski fields. Its also near local bus stops. Plenty of eateries are also nearby. The rooms are spacious, have cooking facilities, great bath and comfy beds.

Parking is tight. Top floor rooms have a balcony with a view but no air conditioning. Even after leaving the curtains closed while sightseeing, the room was extremely hot as well as the balcony due to the sunlight.

Room was big and kitchen well-equipped. The bathroom was also nice. The property is older but well-maintained. What I didn’t like was that there was a street next to it which was quite noisy.

Its an ok motel but far from special. Beds are good, cleaning is ok (some definitely-not-ours hairs in the bath). Wifi is patchy- it works but keeps dropping. On the second day I asked for a note to be left with the code for one of the two other Hurleys networks visible on my computer- no note forthcoming and my work call was pretty disastrous. Something that is absolutely not the venue's fault but needs mentioning is the current extensive road work programme right outside the bedroom window- if youre looking to stay in March, April or potentially May worth checking if the works are still ongoing as they are disruptive and intrusive.

The room was awesome, plenty of room! Seemed more like a condo. Kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms. Staff was great!

Location was very nice. Quiet neighbourhood and just a 5 min walk to the centre town. Reception was very nice and place was clean. Beds were a bit lumpy and shower door kept leaking onto the bathroom floor. Overall, good price for the value.

Big room with a nice bed, we arrived a hour or so earlier and they allowed us to check in early :) great amenities and short walk to water front and shops. Will be back here

Spacious wellequipped room. Nice view from balcony. Very comfortable bed. Tiles around bath could do with a good scrub. Very quiet once the road works stopped for the day. A short ealk into town centre.

The fold out bed was absolutely awful. The twin beds were fine.

It’s a difficult one to review but on the whole, just an average place to stay. It’s situated on the main road and a bit of a trek from town compared to other places we’ve stayed. The big downside is you have constant traffic noise if staying in any of the front rooms. Since the new road layout, all traffic seems to pass this way. Luckily or unluckily, we had a really noisy party next to us one night so we then moved to the back which was far quieter. On the same night, the WiFi went down and the night receptionist was not interested at all. The next day tho, we spoke to Tiffany who was great and sorted it, moved us and couldn’t have been more helpful.

The front desk gal was very nice. She let us store luggage while we walked the town until check in. It was a quiet space away from the main strip but very walkable. The road by the hotel was closed due to construction, but the rooms did a great job of blocking out the sound. We didn’t hear any construction noise even though they worked through the night. Room was very big. Lobby was closed overnights but luckily we didn’t have any issues with our key or entry. Would recommend!

Unfortunately, there were roadworks right outside the property, which made it difficult to travel in and out of. However, the staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to look after guest needs.

Every interaction with Hurleys staff was excellent. Very helpful. Serviced room every day and a Great location. We will return.

We had roadworks right outside our bedroom working with diggers and noisy machinery throughout the entire night. We booked this place online and there was no warning of this, nobody contacted us to let us know, nothing. I know it's not the hotels fault but at least they should let people know what's happening so they have the option to choose if they want to stay there or not because we had been driving all day and wanted to get some good sleep and we defenitely didn't get it. Another thing, because we arrived after the reception closed, we missed the sign saying we couldn't drink the water and found out the next morning. Again, we arrived late, yes. But nobody let us know or said anything on the online website. Very poor communication.

Pros: Facility is a bit dated but extremely clean with very comfortable beds and pretty spacious rooms. Cons: Check-in can be a nightmare if you are outside standard hours. There is no one on duty after 6pm. They supposedly leave a key which you have to go hunt for behind the building (not helpful when toting heavy bags). In my case they forgot to leave key and there is no emergency phone number posted (you have to hunt for this online and incur int'l phone fees to call). In the morning during regular hours, there was no one at the desk to ask questions (e.g where is bus stop for the airport).

Got upgraded and loved the room along with all the utilities provided like kitchenware. WiFi went down at a certain point and the front desk was extremely diligent about it. They solved the issue immediately and even came up to our room to let us know. Loved the experience and would’ve liked to stay there longer. We were in a hurry to catch a flight and left a bit

The room itself was clean and very comfortable however there were a number of issues which significantly affected our enjoyment of the stay. The booking was made and paid for 6 months prior to the stay however the motel told me the room had not been paid for and asked me to pay again even though I had the receipt for my earlier payment. They also asked for $40 more than the cost of the original booking. They were very insistent and argumentative even though I told them I had paid. I contacted hotel.com and this was sorted out between them and the motel since the money was coming from hotel.com, but I received no apology even after they were contacted by hotel.com regarding payment! There was also roadworks right outside our room from 7.30am every morning for the 3 nights we stayed. When we checked in we were told our room was quiet but it was not - it was closest to the roadworks. We were not told of possible noise and disruption prior to our stay. The toaster in the room did not work. We had to hold down the lever to cook the toast but one side only toasted one side of the bread and the other side burnt the toast. I went to reception a couple of times to report the issue with the toaster and also to request laundry detergent but the reception was closed for the day even though it was only mid afternoon. All these problems were avoidable and without them the stay would have been nice. Unfortunately after this experience I would not recommend this motel.

Staff was very helpful which always is a reflection on the property! Don’t know her name but she was Chilean so kindly pass on our thank you to her. The property is located quite close to the gardens and the town centre which made for a nice stroll. Only thing that could potentially be better is the parking space which is quiet tight however once you find a spot it’s forgotten

We stayed here for two nights over Easter. We arrived and parked the car and left it there for two days. We walked down the hill to Queenstown day and night. The location was excellent. It was clean, warm and quiet just what we needed.

Reasonable price. Walking distance to CBD. Access to bus system.

Room was well equipped and stocked well with coffee, milk, soap etc.. Maintenance was a little lacking in places eg tap very difficult to turn on. Motel is comfortable walking distance of the centre of town.

This property was in an area covered by road works which we were made aware of, however the interior appears to have been neglected due to these roadworks which have been ongoing for some time. You can walk into Queenstown however what the pictures don't show is that the hotel is on quite a steep hill for those with walking difficulties.

Property is ideally located for walking into town but is currently (November 2023) struggling to cope with some extensive road works. The staff were extremely apologetic about the mess however it was totally beyond their control.

We stayed for two nights and a bit disappointed about the road works, which we didn't find out about until we booked and which was pretty noisy !!!!For the price of a two night stay, we though was pretty high and expected a more updated facility. It was with in walking distance to town, which was a bonus.
