Super quiet rooms at night. Found the rooms extremely basic with furniture for the cost we paid. Toiletries not replenished daily or crockery or glasses. We had to rinse these out our selves. Not impressed that you had to pay extra to use the spa as a resident. Though the breakfasts every morning were amazing!

L albergo e’ bellissimo e molto ben ristrutturato. Servizio check in e conciege eccellente. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere di cambiarci i teli doccia perche’ le cameriere li avevano lasciati bagnati senza cambiarli. La colazione ottima e varia. Qualcuno del personals di sala un po’… “ lento”… il caffe’e’ arrivato con molta calma. Ma nel complesso un bell albergo da consigliare sicuramente.

The property is quite spectacular, though the neighborhood is somewhat rough (garbage, traffic, laundry, etc…) There was no hot water in the shower, and the hot tub was out of service. Dining on the property was a fantastic experience. The staff were of average friendliness — nothing remarkable, but not bad either.

This really looks like a luxury hotel at an affordable price. Parking super easy with valet, and helpful front desk. The room was so nice and big with a lovely balcony. 1 thing I found not good was that I asked for ice and they didnt have any. Told me to go to the bar and it was closed. This is a simple thing to have. There is also a restaurant there and its very expensive. Not that many amenities included. But in a very bustling area, it’s a nice and comfortable stay.

I honestly cannot commend the staff more. The staff at the hotel is resourceful and cordial, especially Carmine, the receptionist,s and Alessandro, the busboy, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing. There is no WIFI in the rooms, I repeat no WIFI a common feature in most hotels now. We asked serveral times and always received the same response ,,,, "Let's see, we are working on it" etc. It seemed like a script that a corporation had told them to say whenever a guest complains about it. There is only WIFI in common areas. If you want WIFI don't stay at this hotel property. To make matters worse, there was a construction ( we have a video) all night long the first night we got there, and we were not able to sleep. The next day, they blamed the air conditioner. Not cool. Don't pay for the "balcony" as the view is basically the back of the building and not worth it. Hugely disappointed and would have preferred a refund and to stay somewhere else. The hotel does not have a pool as the images suggest and the features list. It was a small sauna that you have to pay additionally for. Very misleading. Exdpedia should adjust the features and images for this hotel because it does not match its claims. Again, If I could have gotten a refund I would have stayed somewhere else.

Does not have a pool despite a swimming pool being mentioned multiple times on the Expedia page. Annoyingly only just seen that someone else has talked about this in a review from December - and yet the page has still not been updated. Has a jacuzzi in their spa area which was closed when we were there. Room was large but not inviting - it felt in much need of work with chipped furniture, wardrobe doors coming off hinges and limescale covering all the bathroom fixtures. Air con wasn’t great. Not as luxurious as made out online. Common areas of hotel were quite nice but very business focused. Confusing layout with confusing signage, wasn’t that easy to find our room. Staff were polite. Not in a very nice area. As others have said, I would recommend skipping Naples altogether and heading straight to Sorrento/Amalfi coast/Capri. If a night in Naples is required then I would recommend a stay by the coast, in the area near Castel dell’Ovo, for a much more enjoyable experience.

We had 3 rooms..all in theory of the same grade but one, in particular, was much larger and with large balcony. In one roon, the overhead shower was unuseable but the hand held one fine. Only 1 loo roll - a little stingy. The food - we only had bar snacks and breakfast, were excellent. The air-conditioning v efficient. The barman was a delight and he made an excellent Aperol Spritz. The area around the hotel is not one of Naples finest...we discovered much nicer and more salubrious options.

La chambre, pour nous déjà le numéro 13 — qui ose encore attribuer ce numéro ? :) — dispose d’une salle de bain sans VMC, ce qui laisse une odeur d’humidité persistante dans toute la chambre. La chambre n’est pas hyper propre, mal agencée, avec un mobilier vieillot. The Palazzo Caracciolo is a stunning hotel. Everywhere is immaculately clean, the rooms are nicely furnished, have great air conditioning and are very comfortable. Everything is provided for a comfortable stay and the hotel has great facilities. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Any queries we had, information we needed or just booking taxis were dealt with immediately and in such a helpful manner. The area the hotel is in isn't the best and occasionally my daughter and myself felt a little unsafe so used taxis all the time.

I don't know if the rooms they keep for Expedia customers are the very bottom or what, but based on my room this is NOT a four star hotel. This is a 3-star hotel. First of all, I ONCE AGAIN found dark hair on the floor of my bathroom, in the room by my bed and under the desk. There was no bidet. The weird half glass partition that one finds in Europe didn't keep the floor from getting very wet every time I showered. I just left another towel on the floor to catch the water. At one point, I was being hit on by the staff in the hallway which I ignored. There are lots of stairs to get to the lobby. Luckily, there was someone to help me with my bags. The room was nice and bright but very shabby. The bed was a bit lumpy & sunk in on one side. Overall, I will NOT be staying at this place again. Nor can I recommend it. While it is walkable, there are a number of very dark and narrow alleys to walk through to get to some of the main streets. I took a taxi just to avoid those.

A beautiful hotel, the room was really great with the most comfortable bed ever, the room was spacious as was the bathroom. Breakfast selection was fantastic with good service. The hotel is very nice. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel has a beautiful section for dining. We had breakfast included which was an amazing spread. Location is well suited for exploring the historical sites however we questioned whether it was safe for walking… Most of the staff was very helpful and friendly. Not at all as described. We booked the hotel because of the hot tub and sauna which I wanted to use every day. Nothing on the website explained this had to be pre-booked for a large fee, and that it would frequently be booked up. I was there for five days and we never got to use the hot tub or sauna. False advertising. Service was absolutely appalling. The room was only made up for one person, and when we asked for a second bathrobe for my partner they never provided it, after repeated requests. To top off a terrible stay, they have now charged an additional £1,100.50 to my card, 24 hours after we checked out. The total bill of £1400+ was charged to my card at check out, and after repeated calls to the hotel, they keep simply denying that they made this charge and have been very rude over the phone. So now I am having to take time after my business trip to have very rude hotel staff tell deny that this charge was made. I travel to Italy several times per year and this was simply the worse hotel experience I have ever had in 20 years of business travel to the country. Book this terrible over-priced hotel if you enjoy rude staff,outright lies about what amenities the hotel has, and being charged almost double 24 hours after check out. After hours on the phone to both my hotel and the bank, the hotel has yet to do anything to apologise, refund the £1100.50 or make any attempt to rectify this situation.

Rooms were okay, they were clean and served a purpose. Would not recommend Naples to anyone - it is very disappointing as a city and not as nice as the other cities in Italy. There is very high unemployment in Naples, graffiti everywhere and rubbish overflowing. The front desk was rude on arrival and the waitress at breakfast was very rude to us when we explained that we had free breakfast and had paid extra for this online - she phoned the front desk and spoke in Italian to him saying “free breakfast, bla bla bla” which was extremely rude. We then had to go to the front desk to clarify and he was also rude and spoke in Italian to a bystander (presumingly about us by the tone of his voice). They do not seem to like the English very much there. Go to Sorrento - it is absolutely lovely, the people there are friendlier, the atmosphere is wonderful, food is better and the sunsets are stunning.

Good service from the porters. Check was bad. I had to register two times, showing my passport etc. When we checked out, I was presented the full price. I had prepaid and hotelstaff had to check with the management that took to long time. Keycards had to be updated every time before going into the room. In total; bad !

This is the place to stay if you want a nice hotel with big rooms and friendly staff. The area around it is not great but the staff helped us get taxis and it felt safe while on the grounds. Breakfast was very good but not amazing. Taxis about 15 Euros to get to most places My brother stayed at the Renaissance which seemed like a nicer hotel (great upstairs rooftop bar/restaurant) but he paid $200 more per night. We were in town for his son’s event so he wanted a fancy place

The staff were very professional and welcoming. The hotel is nice but the rooms are small and old, though not uncomfortable for a couple of nights stay. It’s walkable to the historic downtown as well as the train station (Napoli Centrale), which is a rough area with respect to theft and crime. We had a good stay overall, and chose the streets we walked on carefully.

This was a great hotel in a very good location. Very walkable with access to restaurants, tourist attractions, churches. You name it. Not overly far from the port for ferry rides to Capri or Positano or Amalfi, and a 10-minute walk to the train station. Professional and courteous staff made the stay all the better. Had a great room with an ice cold AC so that helped as well.

We have 2 rooms back side with no sunlight, windows has view of restaurant, covered by canopy. 3 days we come only for late sleep, feel sad when go in rooms , breakfast joke no potatoes , they bring check middle of breakfast force to sign , like I am running away.
