We have stayed here before years ago and love the location. It’s very comfortable and convenient to everything in the Gaslamp district. We walked everywhere including Petco Park which is around the corner. The breakfast was delicious and offered quite a variety of choices. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have updated the lobby area since our last time there but have not updated the rooms. The furniture is very worn. The queen bed was fine but we would have preferred a king. All in all it’s a comfortable place to stay if you want a great location.

This was a really last minute find that was excellent in the Gas Lamp district. Really well maintained, clean and with an excellent fitness room and pool area. Free breakfast was fine but nothing special. Lots of food options around. The area is a little loud on the street into the late evening but you don’t hear it from the room. The one downside is that their overnight parking is very expensive. But you can park on the street from 10 PM to 10 AM without having to pay the meter. So I would recommend just paying for a couple of hours of parking in the evening if you need to do that.
