Budget Inn

Stayed here for 2 nights for my son's graduation at Virginia Tech. It was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I am not a hotel snob. I don't mind budget low cost hotels as long as they are clean. This place was HORRIBLE. It smelled like stale smoke, I had to keep all hanging clothes in the car and suitcase zipped so my clothes wouldn't smell. The carpet was filthy and disgusting, wore. my shoes the entire time in the room. The bedspread cover was disgusting...full of stains, looked like it had never been washed. All the furniture in the room had cigarette burns and filthy. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this hotel for any amount of money. I paid 150 a night, I was desperate, everything in the area was sold out. I almost slept in my car the place was so dirty!!! The manager was nice enough but really needs to clean up this place or tear it down and start over.

Rooms stunk like an ash tray. Rooms had ants crawling on the walls. Could not stay there and I felt like bugs were crawling on me after I left.

The room wasn't really cleaned, there was even an empty beer bottle behind the bed. The tub was not clean either, and the toilet actually wasn't even secured to the floor. The bed was rickety and didn't feel clean, and the blanket provided had what looked like a cigarette burn. There are a ton of other issues I noticed, but those are the major ones that come to mind. It was cheap and I only needed it for a bed to sleep in during a cross-country move so it sufficed since I had a blanket to use in my car.

Rooms were not very clean and there were roaches. Also bathtub and sink backed up and took forever to drain. All in all not a clean place to stay.

Going in I had low expectations. Towels dirty. Low water pressure. Sheets dirty. Tub faucet falling apart. Some of these basic things would improve the experience.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke, holes in the dirty comforter's.

Just an old motel. Towels were stained.

Needed to clean out tub and bathroom better. Looked like someone had shaved their hair off in there.

The bathroom smelled terrible, the carpet wasn’t vacuumed ant the entry doorknob fell out when I tried to enter the room.

The bedding, towels, sink, and all other furniture including the floor were all filthy dirty and stained. However the lady was extremely nice and helpful while checking us in.

This Motel is an aging dump, generally dirty, owned by foreigners. The key is an old style key with the name, address and room number on the plastic with "if found drop in any mailbox". Better not lose this key cause they will know exactly how to find you! Was maybe cute in the 60s, but a security issue these days. We forgot Shampoo and when we asked the front desk we were told they don\'t give that to guest. Total price for two nights was $148.00 so it\'s not all that cheap compared to other lower priced Motels in Christionsburg we have stayed in before. We won\'t make this mistake again. Don\'t believe the pictures online and read the reviews, which we didn\'t as we should have.

Hotel was good. Water pressure needs to be better.

This is a very afforadable and perfectly adequate place to stay. The bedrooms are clean and staff is friendly. Very easy checkin and quiet

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the proprietor was very nice. The motel is very OLD and in need of updates desperately. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel/motel and was handed an actual room key instead of an electronic card. The door lock was a single deadbolt (barely), but there was no chain or secondary security device. We were in town for a graduation and only stayed one night, and the price was reasonable.

Overall the facility is adequate.Hieecet would recommend they get some new carpets as the current one in the room Instated in smelled like per urine

Room was decent but the bathroom door wouldn't close and they only had 1 hand towel and 1 medium size towel no wash cloth or other towels. A small bar of soap, no other amenities.

Simple hotel/motel not far from the VT Campus. It's a bit dated but at least it's clean. The manager was friendly and accommodating to my request for non-smoking room. It's definitely a no frills place but the rooms have nice size refrigerators and microwave ovens.

This place really needs an overhaul. Helpful staff but rooms smelly, paint peeling off the walls and only a few drops for water pressure. I wish them luck but really need to invest in upgrading the rooms.

So when we arrived for college move in The first thing I do is check the beds for bedbugs and cleanliness. Both beds were disgusting. The comforters were just flipped over and one of them literally had blood and vomit on it so when I went to tell them about it, she asked to put me in another room went to that room Same thing happened. Housekeeping didn’t wash any of the linens or bedding, just flipped over the comforter that literally had stains and God knows what on it food blood nail polish it was disgusting. They would not give him my money back, and I would never recommend anybody to go there. It’s inhumane .

Front desk man overnight was horrible very nasty I’m not sure if he just was tired but he was scaring me.

Would have probably stayed again why waiting on my house to be done. But the guy at the front desk was rude the second time me and my partner ever stayed here. He said we were homeless and he didn't want that type of trash there. I told him he had his opinion but I know that I am not homeless and sorry for his loss in money until my house was ready. He was rude for no reason. My boyfriend and I don't look homeless nor do we look like we don't have a home. My boyfriend was off from work until the day after we left here dude was really rude for no reason. Will never stay here again. That's therir loss not minee.

We were looking for an economical place to stay. This fit the bill. Everything was fine and the service was great!

We stayed here because it was so inexpensive. We liked that there is a fridge & microwave in the room, but wished there was coffee, at least a Keurig or something in the lobby.
