Very long check in time. Even after being asked what time I would arrive. Room tidy and clean. No modern features like USB ports in room. Executive room and lounge. Sad People allowed to walk out of lounge with bags full of free snacks/drinks. Location great. 2nd visit here. Some obvious letdowns.

Was disappointed that I didn't get a discount for the car park. Apparently you have to let the hotel know in advance for the discount, so I had to pay full price (£36) fro just over 24 hours.

Good hotel, well situated and comfortable. Only minor issue was I had booked half board and reception said I needed to show my confirmation to restaurant staff which was clunky and time consuming. Service in restaurant was polite but achingly slow with staff sometimes chatting

Overall the hotel is very tired and need of a reno. The ac didn't work very well and took hours to get someone to come and fix it. Mainly due to an error by the receptionist. Bar was badly stocked.

Good location, breakfast, staff and clean. Sadly, the bad points would outweigh staying here again. The rooms are very scruffy (apart from the bathroom). The cost for the Executive Suite is not worth it. The sofa is grubby, the furniture badly damaged, the windows dirty, bed uncomfortable. The included lounge had a coffee machine not working, or with only decaf coffee. The lounge itself was pretty untidy and nothing worth spending time in (dull room opposite reception).

Hugely disappointing stay. Not even close to 4 star service. Hotel did not respond to emails asking for help, the bathroom didn't have towels or bathmats, beds were not made, used glasses were not replaced, reception always too busy to get service and the wait at the bar took an age while staff stood around chatting to each other. Awful service with management nowhere in sight. Location is wonderful and the rooms are nicely decorated but I'll be avoiding Hilton's in future.

Excellent hotel as always, but no biscuits to go with the coffee. Also, previously the hotel was able to validate car parking tickets to get a discount. It’s a pity that this is no longer available, especially when nearby hotels are still able to do this.

Fantastic hotel! Room was really nice and very clean, all the staff were helpful, the breakfast was amazing! Poached eggs were a particularly nice touch as most places don’t do them. All the amenities were great and parking was also fairly close, we had to call to find out where exactly to park as the instructions weren’t very clear and there was no postcode that I could find online, but they directed us on where to go and were super helpful. We went to the Q-Park in Liverpool One which was further but cheaper, plus discounted for staying at the hotel. Great location slap bang in the middle of everything you want. Overall a great stay and we’ll definitely be back again soon.

Despite advance messages where I asked about parking the hotel failed to respond at each opportunity. I then arrived only to see that the on site parking was closed so I was really unhappy as I had to park at the John Lewis car park overnight and walk between the two properties. Being someone with mobility health issues didn’t start the stay off well as I was in agony by the time I got to the hotel. I received an email saying about checking in via the app, but contrary to that because I booked through Hotels.com it couldn’t be immediately linked to my Hilton Honors account so I couldn’t get the digital key they told me I could. In the room (627), the bed was amazing and we had a great night sleep but the bathroom facilities were ridiculous. We put the entrance to the shower immediately behind the door??? The shower was positioned in such a way that it was impossible to avoid turning the bathroom floor in to a river, so we had to use all the hand towels to keep it dry, not very eco friendly! The net curtain in the room also had stains on, the glass top on the desk had marks over and the bathroom sink had a load of limescale and green deposits around the overflow hole.

There was an event locally so rooms were expensive but I was expecting a lot more from Hilton than this. On checking into my room it was dirty with toenails in the middle of the floor. They wanted to discuss this as the hotel was full but I insisted on a room change. 2nd room was similar, carpets threadbare, wooden furniture scuffed and old, just felt grim. Air con on fully all day and night but not cool at all and no windows to open. Main lobby toilets filthy, no toilet roll and glasses from the previous nights around the sink and sanitary bins at 1pm. Staff were lovely and looked shocked when raising these points. Breakfast items luke warm every morning too. Hilton need to support their staff better, the building was boiling with the poor cleaners working in exceptional heat on one of the hottest days. As I say, staff are lovely but clearly let down by Hilton and the need to update the hotel rooms.

Awful from check in to check out. Faeces cover flannel in the bathroom, rolled up ready for us to use. Dangerous kettle left for us to use, only worked it pressure put on plug, broken bathroom tap, rubbish aircon, rubbish shower. We spoke to the duty manager on leaving and presented her with the flannel, she said the operations manager would email us.. absolutely nothing from him … shame on you Hilton Hotels

Great location with fantastic ice cream cafe opposite. Queued for 20mins in foyer,no air con & only 2 on desk.Queue was only about 10 check-ins long.Yes it was a hot day but that was a poor start. Stayed in room 444: fantastic view of the city & towards the waterfront. Comfy bed bigger than king. Duvet no sheet.Too hot.Air con very poor-wish I’d brought a fan. Wall paper peeling from top of wall by window.Don’t expect that really. Complimentary cans of water with glasses if you were a member only, & £2 each for everyone else.£2 for warm canned water. Carpet was clearly very quickly vacuumed as remnants missed of previous guests. Bathroom: clean. Long hair on towel that wasn’t mine. Bath VERY high- needs a step. Shower rose hanging off.No shampoo or body wash in the canisters. Sink VERY high up with steep sides! My wife is 5’2. Check out was quick but we weren’t asked how our stay was so didn’t bother to share. Overall disappointing for £170. No better than a premiere inn. Surprised really. It was a bit of a late birthday celebration for my 50th & not quite the chic experience we expected. Wouldn’t stay again sadly.

This is a typical commercial hotel but is very well situated near the Royal Albert Docks and the shopping areas. The only negative thing is that we noticed a very strong mold smell in our room and in the hallway and reported it to the staff as there appeared to be a water leak from the shower. The rest of the hotel was immaculate.

Executive room was tired had multiple marks in the walls, the lamp shade was filthy, in need of an upgrade and not worth the money. This is meant to be the premier hotel in liverpool ? Was mived rooms second rokm was better but still tired. Lounge was nice all be it small amd on the ground floor in comparison to manchester deansgate though notnin the same league.

Extremely Noisy Hotel. Despite the decor and rooms being pretty good, this hotel is purely based on turnover and quantity of guests rather than quality of service. Every day from 1pm with what I can describe as Hell on wheels, a kareoke truck with 4 huge speakers blasts through the room until 6pm. Friday and sat night I couldn’t sleep due to loud bass until 2.30am as the ground floor bar pretty much is a nightclub that thumps through my Suite non stop. I was quizzed twice by staff outside with random “hello sir, can we help you” while having a ciggerette break away from the extreme winds and was ordered to smoke near the ashtray (which was halfway down the street and on the floor due to the winds. Housekeeping didnt turn up until I called at 4pm…and nothing was hoovered, my rubbish wS still there and pretty much a change of bed sheets and nothing else. I’ve travelled the world in some of the finest hotels and resorts but this…..I didn’t feel like I belonged there and decided to leave after the Liverpool game on Sunday with a night to spare. If you want peace and quality of service, I can’t really push for this place. It’s purely focussed on numbers rather than leaving a good impression for guests and it’s a shame as my suite was really nice albeit a dodgy toilet seat and empty fridge. This is the first hotel that made me want to leave early and homesick but otherwise great location, lovely modern design but everything seems to be focussed on turnover of guests.

Room was very dimly lit so made it hard to get ready for the night. There was no way of making the lights any brighter. Shower was leaking in the bathroom, and the water was cold the next day. Very overpriced for what we got.

Generally nice hotel, needs a some refurbishment as corridor lighting was a bit dim, carpet was warn away in bedroom, toilet seat was loose/broken, TV was very small, not both sides of bed(s) had power sockets, no USB ports, and the room aircon could not be controlled from within the room.

Stayed for an overnight with my partner. Location is great for the city center. Lady on reception was friendly while checking us in and so was the lady when checking us out. The room I feel is dated, feels like the bathroom has been freshened up however the bedroom is dated. Dark oak furniture, dark brown curtains and really low lighting!! The bed was really comfortable, and we both slept really well. great breakfast!

The suite was not of suite standards. Long and skinny room and a very loud air conditioner. It felt like the room was stuck in the 70s/80s. Not worth the over inflated price paid of over 5000 Dkk per night!

Room 501 Booked this hotel as a surprise for my husband for his birthday. We have previously stayed here & had no previous concerns however the recent reviews had me dubious of what to expect. From check-in to check-out we couldn't say a bad word. Upon check-in we had been upgraded with breakfast and executive lounge added at no extra fee. I did not manage to get the guys name who checked us in & out but your customer service is outstanding. When entering our room we were surprised with a card & drink vouchers for my husbands birthday. The room was clean & tidy however some areas could do with being refreshed nevertheless clean. Executive lounge isn't nothing to rave about, but clean tidy and good selection of cold drinks and coffee/tea station lovely & warm. The breakfast was nice hot & fresh good selection including GF! Thought it was disgusting that we had to queue for anhour judt to check in. Then when we eventually got to the front of the queue i reminded them i had booked a low floor room as i cant use lifts as i suffer from claustrophobia. We had spoken to the staff in the morning who guaranteed we could get the low floor room and to just remind them when we check in. We were told we had the 4th floor!!!! Also we lost a table in a restaurant we hadnooked as we were so late. Sorry all just unacceptable

Stayed over for a business event. The hotel rooms are fine and comfortable. The staff are relatively slow and seem disinterested in delivering customer service. Check-in was at a palatial place as was any service at the bar throughout the duration of our stay. We didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on that. In an age where customer service is now so memorable and impactful, this hotel did very much under deliver.

Hugely disappointing stay. Not even close to 4 star service. Hotel did not respond to emails asking for help, the bathroom didn't have towels or bathmats, beds were not made, used glasses were not replaced, reception always too busy to get service and the wait at the bar took an age while staff stood around chatting to each other. Awful service with management nowhere in sight. Location is wonderful and the rooms are nicely decorated but I'll be avoiding Hilton's in future.

On arrival we paid for parking which meant no worries for our two night stay. Reception was quick andi painless with very helpful friendly professional staff.The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Everywhere we went in the hotel, bar restaurant cleaning staff were friendly and very approachable. You have an excellent team spirit within your team meaning we had an fabulous experience well done Liverpool Hilton we will be back.

Pros: You could see that most if the staff were Hilton Trained and went the extra mile. Cons: The air con in the room was noisey. When we arrived for our £40 breakfast, there were no tables available in the dining area. We were offered alternative seating in the Bar area. In my opinion, if Hilton are charging £20 each for an average Hotel buffet breakfast offering, they need to ehance the offer with the associated services. Had we known in advance that, Hilton would struggle to accommodate us at breakfast, we would have choosen to breakfast elsewhere.

Enjoyed the stay although first room wasn't as clean as normal. Reception were very good and this was dealt with. Room was very comfortable. Food was good at breakfast also evening meal. Fantastic hotel! Room was really nice and very clean, all the staff were helpful, the breakfast was amazing! Poached eggs were a particularly nice touch as most places don’t do them. All the amenities were great and parking was also fairly close, we had to call to find out where exactly to park as the instructions weren’t very clear and there was no postcode that I could find online, but they directed us on where to go and were super helpful. We went to the Q-Park in Liverpool One which was further but cheaper, plus discounted for staying at the hotel. Great location slap bang in the middle of everything you want. Overall a great stay and we’ll definitely be back again soon.
