Beautiful hotel in an old building with rooms with high ceilings with nice decorations. Quiet, but within easy walking distance from Piazzale Michelangelo, as well as easy walking/bus distance from the city center. Parking was easy to find. Friendly and helpful staff. No breakfast, but lots of options nearby. Would happily stay here again!

La chambre est propre, mais a besoin d'amour. La douce est très petite, mais refaite à neuf. La peinture aurait serieusement besoin d'une nouvelle couche. La climatisation ne fournit pas bien qie la chaleur ne soit pas excessive. On a ouvert les fenêtres, c'etait plus efficace! Belle petite terrasse avec vue sur l'Arno.

Great location for a good price. Loved the outdoor patio- great place to play cards or smoke a pipe without bothering anyone. The little lounge area on every floor is also a nice touch. Front desk staff were friendly, helpful and professional. It didn’t matter to us, but it should be noted that there’s no elevator, so getting heavy bags up to the higher floors may be a problem for some visitors.

Staff was super friendly and helpful with dining suggestions and holding our luggage until it was check in time. Convenient 10 min walk to Piazza Michelangelo and 20 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. Bathroom had plumbing venting issues, unpleasant smell from drains. No elevator.

Bela localização, próximo ao centro e a praça Michelangelo, porém, se você está de carro não há estacionamento perto do hotel, não há lugar para vc parar o carro e chegar na recepção. Porta do banheiro não fechava e havia um cheiro muito ruim de esgoto saindo dos ralos, precisei jogar as toalhas em cima dos ralos para conseguir ficar no quarto e a limpeza do banheiro também estava duvidosas. Hotel está em um prédio muito antigo e não tem elevador para acessar os andares superiores.

Situé loin de la gare à 30 minutes en bus dans un cartier agréable avec une jolie terrasse qui donne une vue sur le lac. Il faut prévoir 20 à 25 minutes de marche pour trouver une épicerie. On à du changer de chambre parce que la notre n’avait pas de volets ni de rideaux opaques si vous voulez l’obscurité pour dormir oubliez ça. La 2 eme chambre était très petite aucun espace pour circuler, salle de bain minuscule avec la porte qui s’ouvre à l’intérieur bloquant carrément la douche une personne à la fois La climatisation horrible il faisait chaud dans la chambre. Les murs ont besoin d’un peu de fraîcheur avec une bonne peinture. Un des gros avantage: le frigidaire réfrigère super bien. Il y a même une section congélateur. En été c’est important. Personnel très gentils.

Good 3 star villa hotel in a quiet local community out of the tourist crush, walking distance to the historic center. Quite a few good restaurants and enotecas just around the corner. My room was adequate with nice view of the Arno and leafy trees. Helpful, friendly staff.

I asked for a river view which was kindly sorted out upon arrival, main problem being it was on the main road and was extremely noisy all night long, there were unfortunately a very noisy family which compounded the noise issue which was relentless.. Reception the next day was very apologetic and we Were able to move rooms to an inward facing room and were very happy with this room a much different experience overall

Very welcoming staff. They were all nice and kind, sharing a lot of places to visit. Cleaning was done every day. The bus stop was near the property which makes it much easier to roam around central florence. Had a wonderful time! Highly recommend this place.

The staff were wonderful! The staff helped us understand how to get around in the city and made great recommendations. My daughters’ room was nicer than ours. We had a less updated room. The A/C didn’t work well. Both nights they were repaving the road in front of the hotel starting at midnight for several hours. We could not sleep for the noise and shaking of the building. When I inquired about the road work, the person at the desk did not know anything about it since the desk is only staffed from 7 am to 11 pm. There were signs on the street indicating the dates of the work. I am disappointed the hotel did not inform us of it and offered rooms during it. It was truly awful. I hate leaving bad reviews and am giving the hotel 4 of 5 stars overall, because the road work is temporary. However, it ruined our stay in what I think is a relatively nice place in general.

Hotel Ferrucci saved us. We had made the mistake of booking our other hotel for one less day than we needed and had to last minute scramble. Ferrucci was literally the only hotel with vacancy in the city and we snagged the last room. For that, I will be forever grateful. In terms of review, this place is definitely a budget option with a no-frills motel vibe and it's further away from the core of Florence. However, Florence is so walkable that it really isn't an issue and you can get to all the attractions fairly easily with a 15-20 minute walk. The rooms are not as nice as pictured in the photos and are clearly old, not the most renovated and the walls in the bathroom had marks/patterns. However, the room was comfortable and clean. My favorite part of our stay was the concierge was very friendly and helpful, provided us with exceptional service.

We had a great stay at this hotel for two nights. The front desk was extremely helpful and the rooms were also very nice for the price point. No elevator, but it wasn’t a bad hike up to the second level to the room. We tried several restaurants in the area and they were all very good, really liked the pizza place across the street. We took the city bus and it was very cheap at 1.70 euros to get anywhere in the city with the bus stop only 1-2 blocks from the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel and stay again!

The building is very old and needs some renovations. Very noisy. 38 minute walk into the town. Good area for a walk/run. A couple of restaurants very close which was convenient. The hotel staff were simply lovely; helpful and kind, accommodating to our needs. The hotel is a short trip to town and the bus links are superb into the city or the train station. I’d thoroughly recommend staying in the Hotel Ferrucci to any traveler!

It was just one block away from the bus stop, one of those buses will take you straight to the train station. it is on a very walkable area, it is also quiet during nights so you can have a good rest. The bus is around 1.5€ and the taxi will charge 25€ on day and 30€ on night to the train station.

Clean room, friendly staff. About 15-20 minutes walk from the attractions in Florence or you can catch a public transit bus into the city center. Bottle water can be purchase from hotel lobby which was beneficial for us. Café and Restaurants close by.

Basic necessities. We liked the location because it was less noisy / crowded than many other locations in town. While not super close to anything, we did walk most everywhere within 30-45 min. The AC wasn’t great. But it was cool enough for us to sleep. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Hôtel satisfaisant : très bon accueil, le personnel est agréable et arrangeant. Pour ce qui est du lieu en soi, la chambre est tout à fait convenable (seul bémol les oreillers mais c’est un détail). L’hôtel est propre, très bien situé (le quartier sud de Florence vaut le coup il permet de s’éloigner du tumulte de la foule et de voir tous les jardins qui s’y trouvent) tout en restant a 30 min à pied, 7min a vélo de toutes les visites du centre ville. Être à côté de l’Arno est un plus, la vue est belle et l’existence d’une terrasse commune donnant sur le fleuve est vraiment plaisant pour le petit déjeuner ou l’apéro. Restaurants et commodités juste à côté.

For the price is a great hotel. If you only need to sleep - it’s a clean, decent place facing river Arno. Next door is an amazing bakery, you can enjoy delicious pastries and coffee there for breakfast. About 20 mins walk to Gallery Uffizi and the city center.If you need luxury place - this hotel is not for you.

Propert is older, but clean and staff was very friendly. Room size was good, bathroom small and the door to bathroom couldnt open all the way, so was awkward to get to shower. Area is quiet and town small, but easy to nativate. The Rimani was open for a traditional breakfast. The walk to the Piazzale Michelangelo took 10 min to the base and 10 min to the top. Very easy. Take the bus into town to tour and leave via Ponte Vecchio and eat gelator and a nice dinner on the river before completing your walk along the river back to the hotel. The property was 45 min walk from the train station. Would recommend taking the bus to the hotel, which we did on the way back.

Hotel staff was helpful. They made reservations for us and got us taxis a few times. Room and bathroom were small. Hotel is not convenient to city center. You can walk but it’s not close. They did provide bottles of water each day.

A estadia foi boa de maneira geral. Preço bom. O quarto precisando de uma revisão (pintura) tinha mancha de umidade (no banheiro também ). Frigobar poderia ser renovado, mas funciona ainda. Ar condicionado funciona, mas pinga água no chão ( deixam sempre toalhas embaixo para não molhar quarto. Muito acolhedor ser recebidos com água, bolachinhas e petiscos na acomodação e nos outros dias sempre após limpeza. O pessoal da recepção muito atenciosos e prestativos. A distância do centro de Florença é um pouco longe mas chega ser possível ir a pé, os ônibus passam na rua perto e tem supermercado e pizzaria próximos. Fomos ver por do sol na Praça Michelângelo a pé. Também tem um restaurante muito bom com preço acessível chamado Affè di Bacco próximo.

This property was great. Not close to the centre of the city but it is walkable (20-25 min). The staff treated us great! The rooms are spacious, very well kept, and super clean. Big washroom and shower which was great. Bed was a little bit on the harder side but still comfortable. No pool. No balcony. No breakfast offered but there is a GREAT cafe to eat at down the street called Caffè Bargioni with super amazing staff and where many locals visit. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We would return here in the future. kid/family friendly resort.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ferrucci. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The staff made every effort to try to explain things in English as we did not speak Italian. Additionally, staff assisted with carrying luggage to our room and offered expresso/cappuccino when we departed. It was exactly what we pictured with regards to a European hotel. The rooms are small, but the hotel has so much character and is very charming. There are so many dining options close by that are easily accessible by foot. Additionally, the bus stop to get into the Florence City Centre is a two minute walk. It can be a bit loud during the night hours, but the area was far less busy than the inner city. We would definitely stay here again.
