Stayed 2 nights

I booked 2 nights, as it was really ideal for my needs, 10 minutes from city centre, 10 from car rental, + free parking, though a tiny space. I’d realised when I read the booking details email, that I’d mistakenly chose a room with a shared bathroom, so had tried by phone + by email with no success, to change to a room with a bathroom, so was set on doing this during check-in if possible. As others have said, it’s a self-check-in system, where there’s two phone numbers on a hand-written sign stuck on the door inside the porch entryway, which when dialled, whoever answers gives the code to use to gain entry to the building. The very helpful ‘Maggie’ answered my call straight away, stayed on the phone as I entered with the code she’d given, and while I located the reported bowl of keys to the rooms, and the key for room 9, my room. At this point, I explained my error, asked to swap to a room with a bathroom…Maggie said “hold on a minute” then almost instantly said to take the key for room 3, and use that room, so really quickly and effortlessly, the room change was achieved. Thx. Maggie. The room was perfectly adequate. Bed and bedclothes were clean. Loo flush was slightly iffy, but worked. My shower was terrific! 2 clean folded towels with 2 small soaps atop them, wired-in hairdryer. Small Kettle and makings for 2 teas and 2 coffees, with milk. No fridge. Small TV w remote, basic channels, but no BBC. Window open and closed fine. For the price, room 3 was fine.

Stayed 2 nights

Upon arrival, I need to call special number to ge the access code to the hotel and to geth the key to the room. For those without mobile phone or battery issue, it can be a probelm. The room I booked has a toilet in a sperate room and the shower cabin glass door is not properly fit and hence not possible to close. There is no washing / bathing liquid except a small piece of soap. The towers are small and over used. The room is reasoably clean though.

Stayed 1 night

The room itself was quite comfortable and there was tea and coffee, soap, clean towels, clean bedding, the room was clean and warm. I paid for a private bathroom which was right next to my room, they did put a sign up telling customers not to use it but that doesnt necessarily stop people, I was lucky that it was quiet and not busy when I went so I had no issues there. Also if you're getting there after 5pm make sure you call up before you get there as you need a code to get in the building, they do have a 24 hour helpline but I wanted to be on the safe side and called within staffed hours. It would be helpful if they could email this code, I did email them a few days before but recieved no reply so make sure you call. In summary the hotel itself is quite nice but logistically it can be a bit inconvenient but if you're only staying for the night it is comfortable and conveniently located between airport and city centre on a bus route.
