Convenient location, clean rooms, friendly staff & coffee/ tea available in the morning. Water bottle stations available on every floor. ONE40 Rooftop bar in hotel was a nice treat with awesome views. We enjoyed our stay.

We changed room day 2 and didn’t get cleaned for 3 days. And it was really disapointing that we wasn’t informed that rooftop area was closed. We booked the hotel in janary and got several mail from the hotel but none about rooftop was closed. If we have had that information, we could have found and other hotel with that possibility and we would have. For that reason, we should have had a discount as the facility we went for didn’t exisist at the time we arrived

Staff was great. Check-in and check-out. Unfortunately the espresso machine was out of order for most of my stay. As well the phone and TV in my room did not seem to work well. However, staff was very forthcoming with suggestions to improve. Very clean property and nice gym facility.

When I made my reservation I was told there was parking available for $40 per night at a near by garage. We did in fact use the garage and told them we were staying at your hotel, but when we went to pick up the car at the end of our stay, we were told we needed to get the ticket validated at the hotel. No one at the hotel or the garage stated we needed to get a validation from the hotel so instead of $120 we paid $180. A little steep, I feel someone should compensate us and by us, I mean 2 rooms and 2 cars which cost $360 total.

A good hotel downtown where you can be very close to most of the attractions.although the rooms are tiny they are clean . They provide coffee and water dispensers 24/7 at the reception which was great. Parking around the hotel costs around 45$plus taxes for 24h

Hotel with good location. Small rooms and tiny windows unfortunately do not match how much you have to pay for the stay. The rooftop terrace was closed due to repair. We wasn’t informed of that until arrival and the rooftop was one of the reasons we chose this hotel in the first place.

Location was walkable to 911 museum, Statue of Liberty and Ellis island. Staff very nice. Also, has laundry facilities that lock washer and dryer. Would recommend this hotel to others.

Great location with views of OWT and the 911 Memorial. My room was comfortable and efficient. Staff was very friendly as well. Only drawback was the public space on the 20th floor was closed due to renovation.

I’ve stayed here several times and the hotel has been getting worse in terms of cleanliness each time. This last time, the room window and halls were full of trash. The bathroom was filthy. After check out, I also received a fraudulent charge from the hotel on my card. When I called to ask about it the front desk l told there’s nothing that can be done.

We were in NY in Jan and stayed somewhere else, we wanted to try this one due to location and reviews. We were gonna decide on where to stay on our 7 day upcoming honeymoon in April-2025. However, besides being almost perfect for us. Upon packing our things to leave I dropped something and happen to see under the bed and there was a used condom that had to be there our entire stay 😔. We are 2 woman that are in a partnership that clearly have no possession of condoms. That was definitely the only downside!

The lobby bathrooms were filthy and the paint/wall paper was peeling. The pillow cases were not cleaned and the chair in our room was dirty. However, the view was memorable and the location is accessible to every thing you may need.

This hotel has the best team of staff I've ever met of all the hotels around the country I've stayed. I really enjoyed seeing the smiles on their faces every single day. This was incredible. The only thing that did not work for us, was the quality of the bedding/pillows that were below standard. Also, there was literally no soundproof at all, we were bothered by the people in the next room multiple nights during our stay. We had to be forced using earplugs, with more than $300/night, this was really terrible. Similarly, the doors for each room were too close, I stayed in room 504, which is in the middle of two rooms, every time people get in and out, created large noise when closing the doors, including in the middle of the night. We had zero quality sleep.

The room was clean, and checking in and out was very easy. Communication from the hotel was great prior to check in, and I loved the refillable water stations as well. My only critiques were that the room was quite small, and the A/C was very finnicky and difficult to use (switching temperature setting seemingly at random, and switching on and off even if I set it to run continuously.

Location was great, the room was large and had a wonderful terrace, it was a lovely stay. The only suggestion I have is a small dish soap. Dishes are provided, but nothing to wash them with.

Wall outlet wasn't working properly, and AC was not working. And when customer service was told about it, they told me they'll send someone and they never came. Also the elevator weight was very long. One situation took over 10 minutes.

The receptionist was too busy checking in all the flights attendants. Once they were finished with them and after waiting 30 plus minutes I was told that it’s their shift change was happening at that moment so to go around the corner as there were two more receptionists. It was only one but at least the guy greeted me somewhat. Don’t let the pictures full you on their website. For $360 a night trust me you can stay somewhere nicer with better customer service and be treated respectfully. So I went to check out the lady was pretty much don’t bother me and use the IPad behind you to check out. She wasn’t doing anything prior to me getting there but she was too lazy to do the bare minimum requirement of her job. The restaurant One 40 was absolutely amazing and the food and staff were excellent.

I would never stay here again. We booked our reservation and arrived at the hotel early. The hostess said that we would have our room ready when we got back and then she was putting a rush order on it. We arrived back at the hotel at 11 PM and we told that we had no room. They had overbooked somehow in their computers made the mistake… A bunch of crap. We had to go all the way from downtown New York to be on Midtown to stay at a much nicer hotel. I would never recommend this hotel.

Check in process is a mess. Arrived at 6PM and had to wait 30 minutes in line (only one person doing check ins), to be told that they didn't have any rooms ready. We were around 8 people waiting in the lobby area for rooms. One hour waiting! So almost 2 hours to check in and get a room. And no apologies or compensation.

The only complaint would be that the 20th floor rooftop area was under construction. This was not posted online and we were looking forward to sitting there and looking at the world trade one. We actually picked this hotel for that reason.

The hotel itself was modern and clean. The room was big for NYC, more like a suite with a separate seating area. Even though it is a separate business entity, I have to mention the rooftop restaurant. I can’t comment on the service since we didn’t receive any. My party of 7 sat for 15 minutes and were completely ignored, except for the extremely rude self-important manager who gave us a hard time over moving a barstool to our table. Ultimately, we had enough poor treatment and left. Hotel was great, avoid the restaurant because it is a waste of time (and probably money if you ever get served).

I really enjoyed my stay here. Check-in was simple and the room was clean and comfy. The One-40 rooftop bar had amazing views and delicious food. I recommend the Wagyu steak and crème brûlée. Will definitely stay here again
