Great location. Parking available and tucked away. A 7-11 within walking distance and Roy Rodgers. Also the George Washington Distillery is walkable. The stay was great. We used the indoor pool (we had the whole pool to ourselves). Enjoyed the morning breakfast buffet, with eggs, sausage, potatoes and waffles. Side things like yogurt and cereal were also available. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent customer service. The front desk is fast, professional, personable, and friendly. The breakfast crew was on top of everything: cleaning, refilling, etc. The breakfast had great variety. The gym, pool, and laundry were all clean and useful.

Pros: ● The staff was nice and friendly for the most part. ● Complimentary breakfast and the hours for breakfast. ● Complimentary snacks & coffee. Cons: ● Hotel can use a few updates / renovations. (i.e. better quality towels & wash clothes) ● The refrigerator was extremely loud. ● The room doors slam very loudly. ● When allowing pets - Vacuum & clean more due to pet hair and odor. ● Worse Part - The elevators stopped working and we were on the 4th floor with my elderly mother who has problems walking up and down stairs. So, it took a while to get her down the stairs and she was in pain and agony afterwards.

Arrived after travelling 13 hours.! Checked in within 2 minutes. Hotel is very clean. Front desk was very helpfull with suggestions for restaurants and directions to get to the White House. Pool was warm and clean. Slept great. Breakfast was fresh and adequate. I definitely recommend.

The hotel staff are very professional and on point - from the front desk to those in the dining room. The facility is also so dog-friendly! It had such clean drinking stations for our dog in convenient places in the lobby. The parking, the dining room and the rooms are all top notch clean and family friendly too. We were a large group and were able to get connecting rooms with our parents. The breakfast scones are also sooo yummy! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Enjoyed the breakfast and the staff, the room was clean and the service was friendly. On Sunday when we arrived the pool was clean and inviting,,, on Friday when I went to use the pool it was extremely dirty... black on the bottom and chunks of hair and other things floating on top.

It’s nice to stay at for a night. I don’t think I could stay here for more than that. My family and I stopped here midway from the beach. While we loved the idea of breakfast provided and there’s a pool, there were lots of kids who were unattended by parents. The walls are thin, I could hear every cough, cry and talking. The rooms are tidy but just surface level cleaning, there was pink mold I noticed around the drain, some deep cleaning needs done in the bathrooms. Concierge was nice but not friendly, could be because there wasn’t enough staff.

The furniture was chipped, missing table in the room, phones didn’t work, air conditioner was very loud, had an infestation problem, water pressure was terrible, toilet seat was moldy, the grout around the tub was terrible, it was extremely noisy throughout the day and the night. Handicap parking was not convenient at all, the walk was long. The ice maker was broken all weekend and the hallways were very stuffy and had an odor. On a positive note, the breakfast was very nice and clean and offered a nice variety to choose from, the coffee was very good.

The motel was nice enough, but when we got to the room, the bed was very uncomfortable hard to get in, and there was mold in the shower that needed to be cleaned. The coffee maker had a broken top. It would be nice if there were directions on how to use the television in the room instead of having a QR code on the table that just told the channels. I did like the bottle, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. It’s a nice change from having small bottles all over the place. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. They were very helpful and went out of their way to help us.

Air conditioner ws broken and leaking very badly. Carpet ws soaked and even though I requested it at the front desk no one EVER showed up to extract water. Noisy kids running up amdndown hall. People with pets up and down hall. Bathroom door near gym won't lock. Need to determine if maintenance tech is worth keeping or firing.

We were presently surprised by this facility. Best hotel we've been in a while. We've been in bigger name brand hotels in various major cities, and this hotel is by far better in terms of cleanliness, service and breakfast etc.. compared for the cost. We would definitely stay here again.

Record heat wave in the area and AC did not work properly. Almost 80 degrees in the room each day. Maintenance got AC to work by the middle of each night but it was too late by then. TV glitched frequently like a streaming service with poor internet. Staff, while happy to call maintenance, seemed unapologetic.

The parking lot was a weird configuration, the hotel lobby was on the complete opposite side of the building. The room next to me blared loud music late into the night and started again early the next morning. Otherwise than that, it was a great stay.

The stay was great. Overall the room was nice and clean. The property was nice and clean. The hotel staff during the day are wonderful. We only had one issue that was on the second night and a hotel representative called Us in the formed us that the people under us had called them and said that we were making a lot of noise. The way that she went about telling us was very rude. She told me to tell my kids to lay down and go to sleep and that they could call the police. Again she was very rude and I informed her that we had just came from the pool and we were settling down for the night. So besides that the stay was great.

The morning clerks were wonderful. We checked in at night on 8/29. I got a cup of coffee from the coffee dispenser upon arrival. It was ice cold. I told the night receptionist and she nonchalantly said, "go put it in the microwave". Had to ask where the microwave was located , she pointed. Not looking up from paperwork. I paid good money for a 4 day stay. I expected to be treated better. The rest of the staff were very nice and friendly. Not her at all!

The property was nicely located off of route 1. The staff are very friendly, and addressed any and all of our needs. Management and staff fully understands outstanding customer service with a smile and professionalism. The manager, I think her name is Milena, gave our 5 year old son a bag of candy and he couldn’t stop talking about her our entire stay. The breakfast service lead by Torrey was outstanding. She went above and beyond what was expected and made sure customers had everything they needed before closing at 10:00 am with a smile. Torrey is the definition of outstanding customer service, she get’s it. Another person with outstanding customer service is Gerri, she also gave a bag of candy to our son. She was so friendly to talk to and has a magnetic personality. Our son thought the Hampton Inn at Alexandria-Fort Belvoir was his personal candy store. We’ve stayed in several hotels in the last four months, and the Hampton Inn ranks highest on our list. Thank you for making us feel special during our 10 day stay. We highly recommend the Hampton Inn at Alexandria-Fort Belvoir.
