An older property, but well maintained with comfortable clean rooms. Our room had an older bathroom that showed wear and tear. We were on the shopping center side of hotel and cars were doing burn outs in the empty parking lot! Indoor pool was clean, but unheated. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Good rates, friendly staff.

Stayed one night while in town for a soccer tournament. Our kids loved the indoor pool and there was another family using the common area outdoor patio for a picnic and throwing a football. Front desk was very pleasant and the beds were comfy. Would 100% stay again.

My husband and I always stay at Hampton and this has been our lease favorite. At check-in they told us breakfast wasn’t till 6:30 so we planned according to that. Find out next morning it was actually 6 which we are early risers so would have been to no. Breakfast was just ok, but coffee was nasty. We booked this hotel on the way to beach and booked it for the pool for our two year old. The water was very cold and had worms all through it so we didn’t use it. Room was just ok. It was clean but it was a bit dirty under the bed. I only noticed because my daughter had thrown a toy under and I bent down to get it. Bathroom was clean and shower was good. I thought the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable but my husband said he slept well. So that’s all about preference. The fridge smelled when I opened it but we just needed to put cans from our cooler in there so didn’t bother me. Location was very convenient.

Room very spacious. Purse found beside bed and nightstand that we turned into front desk. Trash underneath bed and chair. We remove an opened container but couldn't reach a tube. No vacuum or broom to get chip crumbs and other from underneath chair. Refrigerator leaked. More beautiful eggs bought out at breakfast but they were refrigerator cold.

Pros: The person at check-in was great. There was ample parking and the lot was well lit. The woman (I believe Ms. Alice) servicing the breakfast area was EXTREMELY nice. She greated everyone as they arrived and left and kept the area clean. She reminds you of that sweet grandmother type with the "hey baby" Cons: NO HOT WATER!!! We were switched to another room and the water was still not hot. It was barely lukewarm. Moreso cool. We couldnt take a shower!!! Other guests complained about the water too. The room had HEAVY visible dust on the lamp switches, lamp base, tv stand. The phone to call the front desk was NASTY and it didnt work so I had to go downstairs. If there was no hot water that was definitely a sanitation issue.

Overall, the property was nice. They do need to upgrade the hallway carpets as a number of us kept tripping on the carpet wrinkles. Also, who decided that small, square pillows were good for sleeping? Please get some standard pillows on your beds! Thanks

Comfortable stay with good breakfast options. Some carpet areas need cleaning -especially hallways - and one chair in our room was broken, the back was broken off. Also, the floor of the breakfast area was sticky. Bathroom in our hotel room was clean and in good working order. Great restaurants in walking distance.

We had a King suite and it's the largest room we've ever seen.The room was clean, linens were soft and plentiful. The bed was very comfortable. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and great options. Coffee and hot water was available all day in the lobby. Resturants were very close and a small mall was across the street. We enjoyed everything and would stay here again.

Beds had no box spring and were incredibly low to the floor. Sheets didn’t even fit on the bed. Bed was uncomfortable. There were no black out curtains - just a shade that let a lot of parking lot light in. Hotel was loud.

I liked that the bed and linens were very comfortable. Nice room. Didn't like that the doors slam very loud and could hearvother guest using the bathroom. 👎 I wasnt asked upon check-in if I would like to be a rewards customer, but I was asked at checkout. Not offered water because I wasn't a rewards customer until checkout.

I liked that the room was very spacious and in very good condition. I enjoyed the breakfast which was a hot breakfast and pretty good. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. Overall the stay was very good.

We loved our stay!!! Very comfortable accommodation, but the best thing about our experience was the Hampton Inn employees. Winston at the front desk made us feel welcome and right at home. He helped us find a restaurant for dinner and gave us chocolate chip cookies at check-in! ♡♡ And on our way out, Tina had an amazing breakfast ready for us. She was happy and kind and showed me how to make mini waffles. Great people! We will definitely book here again in the future. Thanks Winston and Tina! ♡♡

I stay at lots of hotels, some of which are very nice resorts. I’ve never met a staff as friendly as this staff. I don’t know all of the names but Blue, the person working next to him and the woman that worked in the breakfast area both mornings (9/28 and 9/29) were strikingly different (better) than other people in their positions. It was as if I was at a bed and breakfast. Please make sure they know they’re doing a wonderful job.

The bathroom had not been cleaned prior to check-in. The staff continued to allow other hotel guess to run around in the hallways banging on doors and throwing ice at other patrons, even after being notified several times. There was no quiet time hours, allowing multiple other guess to run the hallways until after 3am

Blue checked us in and helped with an issue I had with Expedia (my mistake, not theirs). He also took all of our dinner trash (we ate in breakfast area with three little girls) and wouldn't let me help with anything. He went over and above with everything we needed. Such a blessing to us. Also, hotel was very clean and breakfast great!

The stay was great in room 417 nothing to complain about at all. The gentleman named Blue at the front desk was great and took care of us for our entire stay with patients of answering all of our questions and we promised him that as long as the customer service is from him or employees like him we will use this hotel every time we come back to NC from FL, thank you blue we will see you in two months you are greatly appreciated.

My compliant was that on the first morning of showering the water was ice cold, finally after a few minutes it became warm, then cold after 3 minutes. The breakast could have been much better. There was no cheese for the eggs and no alternative to pork sausages.

View out window was a wall…side of building. Breakfast area had no coffee at 9 am. No coffee in lobby either. No worker visible in breakfast area. Counter and floor at the waffle station area was a total disaster area…batter all over counter and floor. Nothing was clean…whole area was a mess.

GREAT hotel. I travel a lot. Could not believe what a great rate this hotel had in safe neighborhood. Zaxby’s next door. Sams and Walmart. Better give Iris in breakfast room a raise. Good help is hard to find these days!!!!!!!!! Front desk Super!

Check in took less than two minutes and the gentleman was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was warm and fulfilling. The attendant was very friendly. All and all my family and I stayed overnight on Christmas. Interacted with three staff members and found them all to be kind and friendly. I doubt I will be I. Town again but would definitely return.

My stay was just passing through. The room was ok. It seemed clean. However, the heat did not warm up and the temp dropped to 27°. I hope this hotel has more than a heat pump. More disappointingly was the breakfast or lack thereof. Everything was empty. The case for the muffins-empty. The basket for fruit-empty. The refrigerator for yogurt, milk, etc-empty except for 2 cartons of milk. No oatmeal option either. The "corner shop" to purchase things was 80% empty. I expected more from this hotel. I came from a hotel that I stayed in during Christmas. Everything was fully stocked so no excuses of "the holiday". I doubt I would stay here again.
