Great hotel with friendly staff, comfortable, clean and spacious room with all amenities, fast elevators, modern design, really great bar on-site (and restaurants, although I haven't tried that). Location is slightly off-location from most major attractions (herald square, Times Square, soho, etc) but it's right near the subway.

Beautiful hotel -- accommodations, design/decor, food/beverage and staff are all lovely, and I will stay here again! Here's what would make me give it a 5 instead of a 4: where the "desk" is, there's no room for a chair, making the desk nonfunctional; replace the desk w/ a chest of drawers, which will make unpacking so much easier. Second, put a coffeemaker in the rooms. Third, deliver room service to the rooms -- it's inconvenient to have to come down to the restaurant and order your food and then wait or come back to retrieve your food. These accommodations would improve the guest experience, but again, the hotel truly is wonderful -- it could just be sublime!

Great location, close to Subway and lots of restaurant options! Great hotel, great amenities, like 24/7 fitness room, 5th floor patio, 5-6 pm wine hour, and lovely on site restaurants. The room was clean and had firm beds, great for middle aged backs. Would definitely stay here again if I go back to NYC soon!!

Awesome location on 6th Ave - walk or train to pretty much anywhere in Manhattan. Amenities were okay- kind of strange that both bars in hotel didn’t open until 5pm. We’re on vacation and wanted to grab a cocktail at 4 so had to walk to another bar. Also the bikes the hotel had were not useable- seat clips were broken and tires were flat. It was still a great place to say- large room for the area and perfect central location.

Wonderful hotel with complimentary wine tasting each evening and coffee in the morning and comfortable rooms. Bar and onsite restaurants great and convenient. Lovely veranda at bar and 5 floors up. Friendly, helpful staff and couldn’t ask for a more central location - great walking or subway access to everything! When we are back in NYC, we will definitely be staying here!

Our experience was definitely 5 star! After reading some of the reviews we prepared ourselves for being disappointed by the front desk, cleanliness of the room, and the overall vibe of the hotel. From the moment we arrived to check out we were met with phenomenal customer service! The front desk staff was always helpful, the doormen always friendly. Our room was terrific! It was very clean and provided a wonderful city view. L’Amico, the Italian restaurant attached to the hotel was wonderful! When we go back to NYC we will be staying at the Klimpton Eventi

I recently had a great stay here. From the minute I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the property and the warm welcome from the staff. Every interaction with them was friendly and professional. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. I will definitely stay here again

Overall, the hotel was nice and boutiquey. However, when we got to our room the safe, ipad to control the room and TV wasn't working. The staff was very attentive when we brought it up and were able to fix the safe and TV. The linen change was a little disappointing as the towels we received had makeup on them. Overall the location was great and so was the vibe. It just didn't feel like a 4 star room to me.

City view room had an amazing view of Empire State Building. Chris at front door was friendly and helped with luggage and car. Location is just far enough from Times Square that its quiet at night and still walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Room was clean and well kept, we enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Super chic, modern and clean hotel with great amenities and a location convenient to many midtown locations (and right near a few subway lines). Rooms feel particularly spacious—at least by NYC standards, and are beautifully designed. Service was great, as well.

Overall the stay was good. Started off rocky with them giving me the key to an occupied room. Once they corrected that, the room I was given didn’t have air conditioning functioning but once the HVAC crew came and fixed it, it was good. For some reason the following morning I had the same issue where the AC stopped working but it wasn’t worth calling the front desk because I needed to check out, but it made the morning a little annoying.

This was the absolute BEST hotel we have stayed at in NYC. We are from Toronto, Canada and have been to NYC 12 times, and this hotel was by far the best one yet. The attention to detail is beyond commendable. The rooms are so spacious and there is a big mini fridge, huge bathroom, and comfortable bedding. In the bathroom, there is a list of things that you can order through guest services (free of charge), which really added to our stay. Curling irons, humidifier, tweezers, lip balm, shaving cream, you know it! Shout out to Jillian from guest services; always so prompt and cheerful. Thank you, Kimpton Hotel Eventi for making our trip.

Great hotel a few blocks away from Macys and metro lines. We had a suite which was a very nice size for a family of 4 (including 2 elementary school kids). Would highly recommend and stay here again!

Room was nice enough, but walls very thin not sound proofed so could hear people in other rooms and hallways. Not a bad location, and guest services OK but could have been a bit better at providing more details about available services. For e.g. parked my car with valet and wasn’t advised that the following day the valet would be unavailable due to street closure so needed to walk to garage. Would stay here again if necessary.

Forgot to follow the original payment plan as per Expedia reservation (confirmation email). Ended up charging the wrong card and creating a whole mess. Used them for a long time - never again! Sorry you just lost one customer.

Photos didn’t do this place justice. Lobby had a very cool vibe. Rooms were spacious and clean. Despite a major check-in hiccup (our rooms were given away somehow, booking error between hotel and hotels.com, took over an hour to work things out), our stay was, overall, great. Every staff member was friendly and helpful.

I just wanted to give a big shoutout to Juan at the front desk. He truly went above and beyond during our stay. He was so friendly, welcoming, and personal right from the start. He surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to a suite, and it honestly made our whole trip. It’s rare to come across someone who makes you feel genuinely cared for, but Juan did exactly that. Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

Eventi has been my home base in NYC for almost ten years. I stay there 3-4 times a year, with and without my husband and children. The service is exceptional, from the front desk to the valet and bell services. It's a perfect location - a 15 min walk to hudson yards (shopping, dining, peloton studio, the high line), and a 20 min or so walk to the times square area - which is a convenient spot but away from all the chaos. Amazing dining locations nearby and a quick ride downtown to more shopping, activities, parks, etc. Jenn at the front desk always takes great care of us!

Great location between MSG, Moynihan, and the Chelsea neighborhood. Great staff. I had to wait a short period of time for my room to be ready but they handled the matter quite well. Full service with two restaurants on site plus a real nice bar area (in addition to the ones in the restaurants). It is great to see an energetic hotel scene with full services. Look forward to staying at Eventi on my next trip to Manhattan.

Within walking distance to many sites. Bit noisy and touristsy on the street and can hear cars until about 12am. Hotel is quiet though. Gets much quieter with lots of great local shops just walking a few blocks south to Chelsea.

Staying at the Kimpton Hotel Eventi was a great experience. Our room was very modern and clean with a great view. Most things that a person visiting Manhattan would want to see are conveniently in walking distance to the hotel. There are three great dining options at the hotel that give you options for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Staff were positive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
