A great find - free parking outside of ZTL so no vehicle charge, air con in the room, adequate breakfast from 730 and a short bus ride into town. The staff were friendly especially and helpful especially Avis and the room was spacious and the shower was strong. It could do with a bit of an upgrade but it was well priced and did the job.

Benedette at reception was wonderful, and checked us in for our beautiful room. There is a garden courtyard in the back where you can relax and have a nice meal. We parked right in front. The hotel is a short walk to the entrance to the historic part of Florence. It is next door to the Boboli Gardens too. Each day we walked or took a taxi in to the central part of Florence where there is much to see and do. At night we walked back to the hotel. This is a superb place to stay!

Belle hôtel mais malheureusement nous étions dans une dépendance qui fait un peu vieillotte. Propre mais un petit coup de jeune serait bienvenu. Petit déjeuner dans un beau jardin. Très bien situé pour aller se promener en ville sans se soucier de la voiture .

We liked that our hotel was cottage-style, with the dining area located in a cute garden. Rooms were clean and service was great, and this hotel offers on site free parking! Breakfast was good with several options. However, because our room was inside the garden, we found that there was a lot of mosquitos (around 10) in our room, which may be due to the abundance of trees and plants in the garden. It would be better if there was a way to reduce it. (If you are staying within the main building, there probably isn’t as many mosquitos).

Altes Gebäude, alte Möbel insgesamt antiquiert. Frühstück ohne Eier. kein Käse, insgesamt wenig Auswahl. Aufschnitt wurde nicht nachgelegt. Zimmer sehr einfach eingerichtet teilweise Staub auf den Möbeln. Insgesamt wirkte das Hotel als eine Einrichtung, um mit möglichst wenig Aufwand einen hohen Ertrag zu erzielen.

L’hôtel est bien Belle déco dans les communs, chambre correcte Le personnel est vraiment très gentil En revanche, j’ai 2/3 points négatifs à soulever : - la cuvette des toilettes n’avait pas été nettoyée à min arrivée - le rideau de douche est moisi - le petit-déjeuner n’est pas terrible (croissants sous-vide, jus de citron ultra-sucrée, chocolat au lait très amer) Bref, de petites choses, mais qui, mises bout à bout, dégradent un peu l’avis général Si ces points étaient réglés, l’hôtel mériterait plus de 9 assurément

O hotel eh bem antigo e por estarmos em 4 pessoas ficamos um chalé e não dentro do prédio. Estava com pó nas mesas e o guarda roupas dentro do quarto tinha um cheiro de mofo horrível, acho que ele até poderia ser retirado porque nem pra abrir dava. O café da manhã na eh muito bom! Bem continental mesmo. Acho que poderia ser bem melhorado. A vantagem eh que estávamos. Bem perto da. Entrada da cidade e sem ser zonaZTL.

Buffet Breakfast was terrible - plastic wrapped dry croissants, bowl of apples, cheap sliced bread etc. hugely disappointing and seating outside when it’s very cold first thing in the morning. No room upgrade provided. Bedding in room 104 was a sheet and throw (not thick fabric) so I was very cold all night. WC made constant flushing noise which hotel did sort but got no sleep first night. Room 10 (my sisters room) - shower room with curtain very basic; room is behind reception, with bed up wooden stairs on a mezzanine and no space to move around. Mum was in room 109 which had slightly more space but still very basic. There’s nowhere to sit if you get back from visiting sites and want a cup of tea other than seating along one wall of entrance hallway. Trying to get a taxi into the centre of Florence was impossible early morning - there just weren’t any available so it’s a little too far out as a good 30 minute walk into the centre. Tip- get the local no11 bus which is nearby. Gardens of the hotel aren’t particularly well cared for. Photos make this hotel look a lot nicer than it is. We were pretty disappointed. It was clean and staff were helpful but overall experience was poor.

No wifi available, although I have talked to the front desk and they agreed there should be free wifi available in property, but I found out the only place that you could find the available wifi if you stay in front desk. In general the staff were friendly.

We really liked the hotel. Nice rooms, very nice area for breakfast. Very convenient that breakfast is included. Polite staff. Very close to all sightseeing, located in the area with many restaurants and shops. But! When we checked in we paid their city tax cash and unfortunately didn’t get the receipt Then when we checked out the other receptionist told us it’s a different tax or smth and we were in a rush and paid it again . Then I checked and texted them to explain and they said it was a misunderstanding.. but so far money haven’t been returned and they went quiet.. so!!! Be careful and make sure you don’t repeat our mistake. Get the receipt and double check what you have to pay at the property so you don’t pay in twice!

We really liked the hotel. Nice rooms, very nice area for breakfast. Very convenient that breakfast is included. Polite staff. Very close to all sightseeing, located in the area with many restaurants and shops. But! When we checked in we paid their city tax cash and unfortunately didn’t get the receipt Then when we checked out the other receptionist told us it’s a different tax or smth and we were in a rush and paid it again . Then I checked and texted them to explain and they said it was a misunderstanding.. but so far money haven’t been returned and they went quiet.. so!!! Be careful and make sure you don’t repeat our mistake. Get the receipt and double check what you have to pay at the property so you don’t pay in twice!

Övernattning skedde i slutet av April 4 nätter Hotellet låg i en väldigt grön, lugn och vacker del av staden omringad av fina äldre byggnader och med gångavstånd till centrum ( ca 1,5 km ) Tyst på natten, lummig trädgård, trevlig personal Hårda sängar utan nått gosigt täcke, så ta med eget. Mindre frukost med mycket bröd, inga ägg eller korv / bacon, pannkakor, gurka, paprika etc utan bara bröd, skinka, mjuk ost, flingor och yoghurt. Bra kaffe dock. Frukosten fungerade ändå bra Rekommenderas

Hôtel de charme, facile d’accès avec un petit parking. Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans la suite du jardin pour notre famille de 5. Facile d’accès en voiture. À proximité direct des jardins de Boboli. L’accès au centre de Florence peut facilement se faire à pied (en marchant un peu quand même :-) ) mais on y arrive vite. Le personnel de l’hôtel est très agréable et serviable. La literie est correcte. Le petit déjeuner sur place est simple et efficace. Café, gâteau, pain, fruit, jus. Wifi disponible. Nous aurions préféré moins de pluie pour notre séjour. Sinon hôtel très sympathique.

Truly a “classic” hotel with a quaint feeling. Breakfast in the garden couldn’t have been lovelier. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The location,near Porta Romano, gave easy access to Florence.

Altes Gebäude, alte Möbel insgesamt antiquiert. Frühstück ohne Eier. kein Käse, insgesamt wenig Auswahl. Aufschnitt wurde nicht nachgelegt. Zimmer sehr einfach eingerichtet teilweise Staub auf den Möbeln. Insgesamt wirkte das Hotel als eine Einrichtung, um mit möglichst wenig Aufwand einen hohen Ertrag zu erzielen.

Just outside the citygate, a very nice hotel with private parking and walking distance to city center. Our room was true to what we ordered. The breakfast was very Italian with lots of white bread, jam and cakes, no cheese or eggs.

Buffet Breakfast was terrible - plastic wrapped dry croissants, bowl of apples, cheap sliced bread etc. hugely disappointing and seating outside when it’s very cold first thing in the morning. No room upgrade provided. Bedding in room 104 was a sheet and throw (not thick fabric) so I was very cold all night. WC made constant flushing noise which hotel did sort but got no sleep first night. Room 10 (my sisters room) - shower room with curtain very basic; room is behind reception, with bed up wooden stairs on a mezzanine and no space to move around. Mum was in room 109 which had slightly more space but still very basic. There’s nowhere to sit if you get back from visiting sites and want a cup of tea other than seating along one wall of entrance hallway. Trying to get a taxi into the centre of Florence was impossible early morning - there just weren’t any available so it’s a little too far out as a good 30 minute walk into the centre. Tip- get the local no11 bus which is nearby. Gardens of the hotel aren’t particularly well cared for. Photos make this hotel look a lot nicer than it is. We were pretty disappointed. It was clean and staff were helpful but overall experience was poor.

This hotel was incredible. The staff was amazing and so helpful. They received us with a bottle of wine that they were promoting. Everything in the room worked very well. The showers are a bit small but still ok. The location was absolutely gorgeous. The hotel itself was beautiful. It is close enough to walk everywhere and far enough to have a quiet evening when you want to sleep. I would absolutely go back to this hotel.

The hotel was different and somehow like a visit to your grandmothers shed with old furniture (most of them were locked and not accessible). It needs some urgent renovation, and I think you might find better in Florence for that price. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Really cute old hotel about 20 minute walk from city center and the main sights. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful! Our room was so beautiful and vintage and classic Italian! However the cleanliness could have been better. There were some ants in the bathroom and lots of dust on the fixtures. A bit of mold/hard water build up in a few places in the bathroom too. Not terrible, and it’s a good place to stay for a short visit
