The property is beautifully updated and located in a good location. The outdoor pool and water slide were very nice; however, the indoor pool area was not clean. There was a strong chlorine smell, and the water was so cloudy that you could not see the bottom of the pool. The outdoor hot tub also could have used some attention. But the cleanliness and comfort of the room, the fabulous breakfast that is served, and the quiet atmosphere inside the hotel make it a great place to stay.

Bed was good, shower was good, hot tub was hot but jets not working. Breakfast was average but not great. Coffee could have been better. Machines were poor quality coffee makers. Lots of restaurants were available for all kinds of food close by. Parking was good and safe

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon at The Walden! It's a very nice hotel that was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We loved the big comfortable bed and the room was a nice size with a little balcony. It was a great location near the shops and shows. Check in and check out was so easy and only took a few minutes. I left some medication behind in the room and they called me and helped me make arrangements to have it mailed to me at home. The staff deserve all the recognition they can get!. My husband and I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. The breakfast was really good as well. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special.

Room was not really clean. Floors were not mopped. There was blood on the bathroom wall. This was my 2nd time staying there. It seems like it has went downhill within a years time. Housekeeping blasting music while “cleaning” rooms in the halls. They really need to move the bottles of hand soap and lotion. Instead of placing it right in the middle of the counter, you should have put it by the faucet. I don’t know if I’ll give it a 3rd try due to the cleanliness.

I have stayed at this location many times. It's clean, the staff is nice and it is perfectly located for my activities (hiking, biking, etc.). They have actually done some really nice updates to the rooms. Very much appreciated.

Location was excellent as was parking. Check in clerk was very friendly and helpful with information concerning the hotel and the local area. Walls were very thin, and you could hear everything said in the adjacent rooms to include rooms across the hall. Beds were very comfortable but due to the noise levels in nearby rooms and hallway sleep was repeatedly disturbed. Check out clerk was not as friendly and refused to give copy of receipt, said I could just use the copy emailed to me. Thats not what I wanted or needed for business records at this time. Yes I could print out a copy at work, but how difficult was it to just go ahead and print me out a copy???

This hotel was lovely, it was modern and clean, with a fun twist. loved that we got our own balcony! the toilet rooms were a little tight, and there were not many hooks for towels. otherwise, everything was perfect! would stay here again, it was very close and convenient to many attractions in the area.

This is my go to hotel. The only problem for me were the beds. Ive stayed here many times but the beds are so hard they kill my back. Absolutely zero issues other than that. Staff greeted me anytime i entered the room. Breakfast was good.

We booked this hotel based on its excellent reviews and I can see why the reviews are so good! I give it 5 stars plus! The only thing I found that they could improve on is better water pressure for the showers. And lower the water temperature in the indoor pool. The indoor pool water temp was the same as the hot tub. It would be better if it weee 10-15 degrees cooler to make it more refreshing. Also the outdoor hot tub temp was spot on and the water was super clear just need to fix the jets. The jets were plugged off due to an underground leak according to the maintenance guy at the hotel. I would book this hotel again without hesitation! The complimentary lemonade in the lobby was so good!! This is a wonderful newly remodeled hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything was clean. Very nice hotel. The only reason this is not a five star review is because the toilet space is very limited in the bathroom. Just not well thought out in terms to of space though that is no fault to the staff but the engineers who laid out the floor plan. Breakfast could also be better. For the money it was nice.

Our stay was fantastic! Easy check in, super friendly staff. Everything was clean and maintained very well. Very impressed with the breakfast selections, ham was a big hit with our family! The only complaint we had is that the wifi would not pick up in our room. It wasn’t provided at check in, posted no where in the room and though there was a place on the key envelope it was blank. We contacted the front desk and they did provide the information but we never could get it to pick up anywhere except the cafeteria area.

Fabulous hotel! Our wee balcony was very welcome for sitting on and relaxing watching the world go by. Room is quite large which was welcoming. Toilet lovely and new as was rest of the room. Comfortable bed and quiet also.

The Hotel was very nice. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very nice. The Manager Vincent was great there was an issue when I was booking so I called and Vincent held a room for us until I got the issue on my end resolved.I would Highly recommend this hotel.

Check in was rough! 1st room was never cleaned after previous check out. Next room, same! 3rd room finally clean so communication between maid service and front Desk was definitely off!! after a long.day of travel and wanting to get to the room this was definitely inconvenience and took about 20 minutes to get figured out after 2 unsuccessful trips up to a room!!! Room was clean and comfy overall and breakfast was good. Location was good and area was clean and safe.. was disappointed in hot tubs both didn't work properly and were literally bubbling about a foot high, Someone finally turned jets off cause you couldn't enjoy and the water was disgusting!! We got out immediately, food, paper, leaves and garbage was floating!!

Our stay had a rocky start with the television not working properly. The next morning the day manager tried to fix it and we had to wait in the maintenance man to come. I must say the maintenance man was a delight to converse with, very knowledgeable, and efficient. Such a gentleman and excellent staff member. Later in the day a snow blizzard came! Staff was very helpful in keeping everyone safe. The breakfast was very good with biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, and plentiful coffee ( coffee provided all day in the lobby too)! They were short staffed in housekeeping because of the blizzard but front desk was available to provide clean towels, toiletries, and any other needs. I would highly recommend The Walden! Great place, clean, comfy beds, excellent staff, and very economical!!!

Nice hotel. The ladies working the front counter were not very friendly and look at customers as of they are a nuisance even before speaking. Their was a guy (sorry didn't catch name/bald) that was super friendly and talked to everyone. I assume he is the manager. If not he certainly should be. Hopefully his great attitude and customer service runs off on the staff around him.

This was the 5th or 6th time for staying at this hotel. It has just changed from Clarion to The Walden. The general manager checked us in and made us feel very welcome. The rooms had just been remodeled and were great! We will be staying here in the future! Outstanding Hotel!!
This was the 5th or 6th time for staying at this hotel. It has just changed from Clarion to The Walden. The general manager checked us in and made us feel very welcome. The rooms had just been remodeled and were great! We will be staying here in the future! Outstanding Hotel!!

Excellent hotel and staff for the money. Breakfast was great, room was spacious and clean. Door lock facing was broken, but owner sent someone to repair it as soon as I made him aware of the situation. Unless I'm in a cabin for a big family trip, The Walden will definitely be my hotel of choice otherwise.

The manager and staff treated us just like family. We had vehicle issues when getting ready to leave. The manager , his maintenance men and the staff went above and beyond to help us out . We are very grateful and thankful that we stayed here and definitely will be staying here again.

The hotel was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All i could say negatively would be is that the garbage truck comes to empty the dumpsters at 3:30am and is very very loud. Also if you stay on Friday and Saturday night there is live outdoor music at the restaurant close by and goes pretty late.

The Walden is in a great location especially for tourism. The majority of the activities we planned were no more than 15 mins from the hotel. The staff is super friendly, its extremely clean, and the check in/out process is the easiest process i've ever experienced. I value simplicity and efficiency more than anything, and i got that and more at The Walden Trademark Collection By Wyndham. The room was super spacious, and i appreciated the hotel providing Dove care products. I also slept like a log because the bed is hella comfortable. Definitely will be back.

Loved the breakfast option and the free coffee. The coffee machine in the lobby was great! And so was the coffee. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, too. Wonderful and friendly staff.

The staff was very friendly and explained everything as this was our first time staying here. The room was very clean and my kids loved the different lighting features on the wall/floor level. The free breakfast is amazing. Biscuits, gravy, sausage, potatoes, eggs, waffles, muffins, cereal, etc. The pool and hot tub were nice as well. Loved the little balcony off the room! Would stay here again!!!

Check in was quick and the front desk staff was fun and personable. They made me feel right at home. We had some issue with the tv but it was cleared up quickly. The breakfast was hot and it hit the spot. Beds were clean and comfortable.The shower was hot and welcoming in the cool mornings. They have renovated and everything looks so new and updated. We love this place and you will too.

They used Dove toiletries so I really liked that. There was a fireplace in the room but we couldn't figure out how to make it work. Loved the balcony!! The courtyard by the hot tub was lovely! Loved the fire pit!! Would definitely recommend!!

Specially the breakfast is the worst I have ever tried, no variety of options, fruit no fresh, no cream cheese, no mayonnaise, only 2 cereals, only 1 option of eggs (scrambled), only 1 meat per day (bacon or spicy mini sausage), only 1 kind of bread and 1 of muffin, not even water.

They offer a great variety for breakfast and it was very enjoyable. Spent small amount of time in indoor pool but it was nice.Great place to stay just plan ahead when coming and make sure no events in town or you want make it through the traffic which was my mistake .
