I had a wonderful stay in one of the contemporary rooms. It’s a short walk to the beach, and the hotel and its porches are charming. Relaxing in the widow’s walk while enjoying a cup of tea was a perfect way to spend the last few minutes of my stay. The manager was really nice and accommodated my request to store luggage since I arrive before the schedule check-in time. I can’t wait to come back!

An amazing little find in Ocean Grove! Plenty of street parking outside of the hotel. All staff were friendly and informative. Short walk to Asbury Park for a concert, so convenient to all nearby locations. The room was comfortable and quiet at night. The balcony was a plus for a late night cap and a morning coffee with a ocean breeze.

It was very close to the beach and had easy parking and walking to shops. I hated that we had to wait 20 minutes and call twice to check in (plus, no one checked us out). The room was small and cold. It had a nice shower and a nice view. The beach was pristine.

I stayed with my friend here for a 1-night mini getaway in December, in room 11, on the 3rd floor. This was a room with two full/queen size beds. For the most part, everything was wonderful -- the beds were comfortable and the Smart TV provided entertainment options. The only two points that could use improvement: ~ It was not obvious that the room temp could be changed (the thermostat remote was hidden in a drawer), and it was cold that night. We didn't realize that we wanted extra blankets until 6pm, so the front desk person had already left by then. ~ It's not clear from Hotels.com or the Majestic's website that the complimentary breakfast -- is only offered on weekends during the off season. Nicely kept except Widows Walk needs periods cleaning, it was dusty a drafty up there. Our TV wasn't working after we got settled in. Staff wanted to move us, but it was inconvenient. Okay staff advise we ciwarch TV in room across hallway. So we did on our second might stay, a knock on door, around 7:30 pm, as we were just getting into a movie. She tells us, can't use room. Another couple checking in. So we asked about our inability to watch TV? So she accomodaed us, but she told us not to use bathroom and obviously towels because the owners family coming in next day, for Christmas. The breakfast was cold frozen waffles in a huge cold dining room, not a traditional B&B slightly disappointed to say the least.

The Majestic hotel was exactly that, Majestic! From the moment my wife and I entered the doors we were greeted by Katie who was incredibly pleasant. Everything was clean, smelled amazing, and the room was great for us. We are already trying to book our next getaway here. Definitely would recommend!!

Loved the friendly vibe at this beautiful Victorian property. Shout-out to Trudy for warmly welcoming us after a 10.5 hour ride and letting us hang in our room a bit later. One block to the boardwalk and short walk to iconic Asbury Park. Double Room was spacious and we had everything we needed (only one suggestion: a full-length mirror!)

The building was an older building, and was beautiful. Due to its age however, the walls were thin, and I could hear people talking and watching TV in adjacent rooms. Also, the room temperature was difficult to maintain. The neighborhood is beautiful and SMS in walking distance of the beach.

When I booked, I had spoken with Nancy the night of checking in and she was wonderful and kind. I didn’t get to my room until after 8 pm so I wasn’t able to see anyone in person, but checking in the room was easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The problem for me is the room had no hot water. I called the next day, spoke to a different woman regarding this issue, and she told me that no one else complained and I didn’t know how to use the handles. I am aware of how to use shower and sink handles, turned the handles both ways to try to get hot water and left the water running for 5 minutes on both sides, still no hot water. I was not offered even an apology, just letting me know I was wrong and didn’t know how to use the handles. Very strange conversation, I hope whoever stays in room 2 is able to have the water fixed, or able to check in prior to 8 pm so they’re able to fix the problem at hand.

It was very close to the beach and had easy parking and walking to shops. I hated that we had to wait 20 minutes and call twice to check in (plus, no one checked us out). The room was small and cold. It had a nice shower and a nice view. The beach was pristine.

The Majestic hotel was exactly that, Majestic! From the moment my wife and I entered the doors we were greeted by Katie who was incredibly pleasant. Everything was clean, smelled amazing, and the room was great for us. We are already trying to book our next getaway here. Definitely would recommend!!

My husband and I stayed at the majestic hotel for one night and it was amazing! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, room was excellent and there was plenty of restaurants in the area and the beach is walking distance. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

The majestic is set in the perfect location to asbury, and really made it easy to explore both places! It is such a charming place with very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

An amazing little find in Ocean Grove! Plenty of street parking outside of the hotel. All staff were friendly and informative. Short walk to Asbury Park for a concert, so convenient to all nearby locations. The room was comfortable and quiet at night. The balcony was a plus for a late night cap and a morning coffee with a ocean breeze.

I had considerable difficulties with getting the tv to work--insufficient explanation as to how to turn on, change channels etc and had to get help from other guests since none available. There was a large stain on carpet in bedroom which was a bit unpleasant and pillows are very "fat" Also, breakfast lacked a bit of "care"--I had to find where to plug in the toaster so I could toast my bagle for example.

Nicely kept except Widows Walk needs periods cleaning, it was dusty a drafty up there. Our TV wasn't working after we got settled in. Staff wanted to move us, but it was inconvenient. Okay staff advise we ciwarch TV in room across hallway. So we did on our second might stay, a knock on door, around 7:30 pm, as we were just getting into a movie. She tells us, can't use room. Another couple checking in. So we asked about our inability to watch TV? So she accomodaed us, but she told us not to use bathroom and obviously towels because the owners family coming in next day, for Christmas. The breakfast was cold frozen waffles in a huge cold dining room, not a traditional B&B slightly disappointed to say the least.

For the most part, everything was wonderful -- the beds were comfortable and the Smart TV provided entertainment options. The only two points that could use improvement: ~ It was not obvious that the room temp could be changed (the thermostat remote was hidden in a drawer), and it was cold that night. We didn't realize that we wanted extra blankets until 6pm, so the front desk person had already left by then. ~ It's not clear from Hotels.com or the Majestic's website that the complimentary breakfast -- is only offered on weekends during the off season.
