Staff was very friendly and very sweet,laundry left out all in the halls, pool was dirty had to skim it ourselves the filter water fall and spa wasn’t on staff didn’t know how to turn it on.

The water in the pool was green with algae so no swimming. The carpets throughout the hotel had wrinkles and the hot water in the shower took forever. The rooms were relatively clean and the breakfast was average. Expected a little nicer based on the reviews, probably wouldn't stay here again.

Stay just so-so. Staff was very friendly. Hall had a strange smell, pool/hot tub not functioning. Could really use some updates.

Pool was out of commission and we were not made aware, very disappointing!

We specifically picked this hotel because we had planned downtime to spend at the pool, and the pool was closed when we arrived. We asked for housekeeping service, but it wasn't done. Then, the hot water was out for hours so we couldn't even take showers one of the nights.

It was a cheap and convenient place to stay while setting up my kid at school. Breakfast set up was pretty bad. Fitness room consisted of two out of order treadmills with ripped belts. And the outdoor pool was unclean with only a couple of old chairs that should be in the garbage. So I slept and showered only.

Welcome to the legendary Country Inn and Suites, where comfort barely flirts with you before ghosting its promises. First off, you'll notice a placard broadcasting that both vending and ice machines are available—only to discover that, surprise, only the ice machine showed up. Every corner of this place is a quirky homage to neglect: stains pull off interpretive dances on the walls, and the sheets wear spots like battle scars. In fact, if you're in the mood for a workout, making your own bed here might just become the highlight of your stay. Even the American flag has taken on a rugged, post-apocalyptic chic look—like it’s trying to tell you, "We gave it a solid shot." Over in the lobby bathroom, paper towels have taken a two-day vacation, and the hand sanitizer in its machines seems to have gone missing altogether. The pièce de résistance? Both the pool and the water cooler have apparently decided that water is overrated. Oh, and toilet paper? That’s the VIP of this establishment—only available at the front desk, as if you're on an unexpected scavenger hunt for the basics. And on your final morning, the absence of hot water wraps up your stay with the kind of irony that keeps you clinging to the promise of a refund. If you’re up for a DIY hotel experience where every basic amenity becomes a treasure hunt, this is your playground. Otherwise, you might want to explore elsewhere for something that practices what it preaches.

Clean spacious room. Clean bathroom. Only complaint was there were no vending machines for drinks or snacks.

Well first I notice black body hair in the tub and a dirty towel in bathroom .. I cleaned the tub and threw the dirty looking towel in the corner and thought I hated to complain .. then we ate pizza and showered, went to turn back the bed cover and noticed black body hair on the sheets, not hair from a persons head!! There was hairs all down the sheets and the sheets were wringled as someone had slept in the bed ! I called the front desk and told her what we had found, she said she would have to move us to a clean room and for me not to come there, she would bring the key to the new room to me ! When she got there she said I hate when this happens and I’ll tell my boss .. I said so this has happened before and she nodded yes ! They offered no compension of any type !

the cleanliness of this place was awful! We were given a dirty room, I requested to have the room cleaned and the dirty towels were refolded and placed back on the rack!!! Had to go down to the desk to request new towels. My family will NEVER stay at this place again.

The building had an old musty feel and smell. Room was fairly clean except blood stains on duvet which is so gross.

Do not stay at this location! The people were friendly, however, the rooms and building was very dirty. They gave me a room key to a room that was either occupied or not cleaned. AND it was not what I reserved. I reserved a 2 queen bed room. But, when I arrived and got to the room they gave me, it was a King room with a pull out sofa. The pull out sofa was opened and the mattress was very stained and definatly not something I would want to sleep on or have my child sleep on. There was also trash all through the room, Gatorade bottles and chip bags - not cleaned at all. So, either they gave me someone's room, or they just didn't clean it. Either way, I went down and they gave me another room. But even that room had a horrible smell (the entire building smelled bad) and it wasn't clean really either. My cleaning rags at home are in better shape than the towels and wash clothes that were in the room. They were mismatched and stained very badly. I saw some bugs in the room as well and the tile and linoleum floor was slimy and sticky. Just overall, not a good experience at all. Needless to say, we left a day early and went to a different hotel. I asked for a refund for that last day, but they refused. So I was out the cost of 2 rooms that night, but I just couldn't stay there another night. I hope this review helps the property to make some changes and also lets others know before they book with this hotel.

The hallway in front of my room door was covered in what looked like a trash bag had leaked small pieces of litter. The desk clerk partially vacuumed the floor and left the vacuum in the hallway. When I started to make coffee there was a white liquid in the water tank.

Front Desk was helpful and quick check in time. Room was very clean. However the towels in the room were little chlorinated smelling from pool. However stay was good!

Bedding and sheets were stained. Trash bag outside our room door. Room key didn’t work. First room we were given wasn’t cleaned.

Room had a musty/moldy smell. Room had no cups for coffee, barely towels for one person Room did not have a working phone, tub was very old and dirt marks in it, vents were dusty Heat in room was very warm and could be adjusted or maybe wasn’t working. Hotel was old, rug was ragged and deteriorated looking

Filthy hallways and stairwells. Room had an odor and was musty. 1 tiny waste paper basket in the bathroom for the entire unit. 3 tissues left in the kleenex box and over 2 days no staff attempted to fix it after being informed. Bed was comfortable. Lots of parking. Rooms were a good size.

I took a flyer on this hotel as it was a last-minute booking and it appears something was going on in College Station, which elevated hotel pricing everywhere. I was pleasantly surprised at both the condition of the hotel, as well as the service, as everyone I dealt with there was extremely friendly and very helpful. Check-in was easy as well as checkout, and the only real issue I noticed was the air conditioning unit was leaking some water on the floor, which did not affect me in anyway, as the rooms were quite large.

The only thing that kept if from 5 stars is my room faced a freeway and cars raced up and down the freeway all night long. Noisy.

The beds are very comfortable! We slept like babies!

Overall stay our stay was good, room was clean and breakfast was simple and good! When we walked in the room it was freezing so I raise the temp a bit.. Bad idea, at bed time when i lowered it down so it can be cooler it never reaches temp until the next morning. It was very musty overnight that even the tile floor felt wet. So needless to say I didn’t move the temp again and the 2nd nights rest was way better. Other than that I will say we would stay here again!!

Rooms/ facilities are basic. Walls feel like paper as one can hear goings on in the next room. The price is low and the area is decent.

The hot water system is out for the two nights we stayed. They also run out of quarters for the laundry service. According to the google map, the nearby gas station for the quarters is about 15 minutes walk… The room is clean but looks a bit old and has a smell because of the wet climate or the old building.

Very noisy and my husband had to connect the TV to the cable box because someone had unblugged it. Theplug by the bed didn’t work either.

At check in we were assigned a room that was under renovation. We were then given another room, but had to get assistance to get the heat to operate in it. The bed was fair. There was a very large tub in the bedroom area, which we did not want or use. Carpet in the hall had large wrinkles in the middle of the hall. Our room did not have carpet. It was acceptable but certainly not outstanding.

Good rooms with comfortable beds and bedding and great showerss. Common areas were a little worn.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Holly checked us into our hotel and she was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with the sweetest smile and such a friendly attitude that instantly made us feel welcome. She was patient, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to meet someone who can turn a simple check-in into such a pleasant experience, but Holly did just that. She truly set the tone for a great stay!

We reserved 2 rooms with two Queen beds. The hotel said we had one room with two twins. We specified one accessible room. Took over an hour to get something close. Calling the “accessible” room accessible is a joke. It does have grab bars in the BATHTUB, but the bathroom door cannot be opened unless the hallway door (to the public corridor) is open as there is no way to get a walker or wheelchair in otherwise. As for the beds, it is 3:45 am and I am on my fourth pain pill. Utterly miserable. And the AC leaks water onto the slick fake wood floor, creating a tripping hazard. Only two of six power outlets worked and none of the built in charging ports worked. Truly awful. The staff was friendly and attempted to be helpful, but the initial booking snafu left them few options.

Both front desk clerks (arrival and departure) were friendly. The housekeeper on our floor was friendly. The breakfast attendant was very friendly and helpful. This was our second stay here within four months. The hotel is clean, comfortable, affordable, easy to find/convenient, and the staff are very friendly. They are A in my opinion. We will stay here again .

Stood for quite awhile waiting on someone to check us in. Never been at a place where no one was available. Also no soda. Or snacks available for purchase. Seems not very effecient

We had a reservation for Thursday night and a separate reservation for Friday-Sunday. Upon check in we were told our reservations were for the same room type. On Friday morning when getting ready to leave for our daughter game, we were told we had to take our stuff with us or check into a new room. It’s as a huge inconvenience that made us late to our daughters tournament - we were moved off the floor where her entire team was staying. Manager was rude and unprofessional. Communication was poor between staff. We never received house keeping even though we were asked if we wanted it at check in on Thursday, and we had to ask the front desk for clean towels each day.

They charge my credit card on Aug 14. When I went to the hotel on Aug 15, they did not have any room for me even though I had made reservation more than a month in advance. There was no apology. They just overbooked. I ended up staying at another hotel, paid 150$ extra. They still haven't provided refund yet. Very poor customer service. Surprisingly, there were other customers in the same boat....

The property manager & all staff were very accommodating! I was not feeling well & a staff member offered to get me anything I might have needed & arranged for an additional night so I could rest. I will definitely stay here again!

Service at check-in was excellent. Ms Dee was attentive to all and acknowledged every one who came in, while taking care of a couple of problems at the same time. The property is old but seems clean; the breakfast was good. I only had coffee and a muffin but there is cereal and pancakes plus fruit if you want other goodies.

Close enough to campus. Great

So many amazing things about this hotel. The room was huge as well as the shower. Honestly the best shower I've taken in a while. Breakfast was awesome. The staff was amazing. I will definitely stay again and also recommend this to anyone staying in Bryan or College Station.

Very nice employees. Helpful and polite. Basic warm breakfast that was a great way to start the day. Hotel was under restoration so there was a lot going on. Great location to Veterans Park. Would stay again.

It offered free breakfast but there was no coffee available. Booked double bedroom but they gave single king size bed. Limited towels.

The room was fine.it was warm and musty in the lobby. The breakfast was abismal. They were out of waffle mix, butter, jelly, and juice. The staff said she had been out of these items for weeks. I have stayed at several Country Inns and the breakfast is usually pretty good, not this one. Disappointing.

Older looking hotel. Needs some tlc in the lobby, hallways. They updated the rooms. Beds are very comfy! That’s a huge plus. Bathrooms were on the needs tlc side. Bfast was below average. They didn’t even had milk out for cereal. Overall nice staff but hotel needs upgrading!

Some staff definitely not customer service oriented. Asked for help told me too busy been busy day, deal with it, dont know what else to say. Staff posted up in back vaping, covered in blankets watching cartoons.. breakfast is terrible, oatmeal Biscuits that are over cooked and hard and scrambled eggs is all you will find here

Good prices, spacious room Tv and elevators were not working the first night. Many tv channels did not work the second night. Breakfast seemed stale the first day, items were not refilled

The customer service at this hotel was wonderful. The hotel was located conveniently in the town. The breakfast was also very good. We would definitely go back.

Not so good let’s start with breakfast the lady that worked at the breakfast station help me make a waffle. Once it was done I had asked her for syrup. She said that the truck had never arrived, and they didn’t have any syrup which led me to throw away the waffle when that should’ve been mentioned before it was made the pool was really nice and very clean. The room was comfortable. Only thing is that I had a pull out bed/couch and there was no blankets or pillows had to ask for one at the desk and they just had one then blanket.

We went to check in and the lady gave the guest before me someone else’s room. So first impression wasn’t great. We get to our room go to dinner come home there is water everywhere on the floor the water sprinkler was leaking and it was everywhere. We had to move rooms. Breakfast was horrid! At 8 am there wasn’t any cereal left. They didn’t have coffee nor did they have the hot food they had a few stale biscuits and a few stale bagels. My kids weren’t able to eat anything. Part of the reason we picked the place was bc of the pool which was lovely! The breakfast is a joke and I had to spend more money to go else where to get them a decent breakfast. I had to clean the bathtub I would be happy to show pics of how nasty the tub was and I had to clean it myself. The night lady who was African American was very sweet and kind and helpful and did what she could to assist. Terrible experience and waste of money. They pull out couch every single metal bar could be felt my kids weren’t able to sleep bc the pull out was in such horrid condition.
