These apartments are across the street from the beach, which is beautiful. The room was lovely. No microwave oven. The washer in the laundry provided did not spin our clothes, so they took a long time to dry. People here are great and made good referrals to us for things to do and places to see, including a driver/guide to take us all over the eastern part of the island, which is beautiful and wonderful. We had a great time!

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with courtyard view and loved it. We even used the BBQ one night and washed some clothes with the community washer/dryer. Location is amazing next to beach. Highly recommend

We had a two bedroom unit with beach view. It was big and clean. Had a washer/dryer and a brand new BBQ. Kitchen was well equipped. Lovely deck facing the beach though it was a little chilly the weekend we were there. Very easy access to the beach and the 3 local restaurants.

We booked a courtyard studio last minute for a spur of the moment trip to Waiheke. So we weren’t expecting much. We were very pleasantly surprised. The room was modern, clean and stocked with all the basics. The property is right at the bus stop, 1/2 block from the beach, next door to the coffee shop and around the corner from the restaurants. Couldn’t have asked for more.

We were in an old section of this property that seemed like a run down, dated apartment block. The walkway looked out to the sewage effluent piping. There were major stains in the carpeting and some things in disrepair. The location is great but it fell far short of what we expected from the online photos and reviews.

Lovely stay at Onetangi, property was very clean and tidy, albeit our bed probably needed an upgrade as was not so comfy, our apartment was quite small so would consider an upgrade next time. The best thing about the property is the proximity to the beach. The property itself is rundown, the beds (especially the pull out couch) are horribly uncomfortable. Air con is only in the bedrooms so the main area gets hot. The room was not ready when we arrived at their check-in time. But the beach across the street is amazing and there are great restaurants in walking distance. The place itself was just not as nice as we expected based on the pictures.

A very nice play to spend a leisurely week, Right by the beach and right by a very good bus route. The apartment would benefit from aircon and the shower was very hot. At a comfortable temperature the flow was very poor.

Onetangi Bay was a spectacular end to our trip; the beach is stunning with several nice restaurants along the waterfront. We had a third floor apartment with a balcony overlooking the Bay and it was really fantastic. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Overall a 5 star experience.

Encountered issue with the booking where expedia allowed for four adults to be booked and the property was not able to cater for this. The property did not provide any solutions due to peak booking period and ended up sleeping on the floor without a matress. Neither expedia nor the property took ownership of this, nor did the property advised Expedia. Followups were difficult with requests from Expedia seeking proof. Be careful when booking here and I hope this message is not deleted so people are aware and not stranded on an island particularly as we had our return ferry a few days after arrival and there was no availability to return to mainland any earlier.

Amazing location! Very spacious apartment and well kept. Only 50m from the beautiful onetangi beach. A few local bars and retaurants within a 5 min walk with a supermarket 10 mins away by foot.
