Rooms was clean pool wasn’t warm

Family friendly. Lots to keep kids engaged and entertained. The pools in the room were ice cold though. And the water park was crowded due to being open to the public. Good luck finding seating.

Hermosas Instalaciones. El personal muy amable y atento. Los restaurantes con amplias opciones. Los meseros un poco lentos, incluso con pocos huespedes Los precios son más elevados q otras opciones El parque Aqua Nick increíble. Lo único malo es la falta de más camastros. Lo que están, hay q rentarlos

The property is nice however the rooms and the water park and best restaurants are about a kilometer apart so you have to wait for a shuttle. Even though they are quick and you don’t have to wait very long the issue is that there are other guest that are coming from the water park and leave the seats wet. Whenever you want to go and dine at a restaurant that you have to get transported to you might sit in a wet seat. Also the staff is nice but they are always trying to up sale you a service. Those are my two complaints other than that it was a great time.

The hotel's amenities and staff were nice, but the lack of a beach was a major letdown. If you are looking for a beach vacation, you might want to consider other options.

La gran mayoría del personal son súper amables. Es hermoso el hotel el restaurante Italiano es demasiado bueno. El spa es más caro que otros all inclusive, tiene un gimnasio con aparatos nuevos y bastante funcionales. El único pero es que no tiene una cafetería. Pero sin duda regresaría.

All the staff at the resort were friendly and showed a lot of patients and respect. The room was cleaned everyday with care. The restaurants had great food and catered to our kids allergies.

Staff are very helpful, eager to help and was very good with communicating in either French or English, which we find amazing. Room was clean and comfy. Water was clean. The water park was loads of fun.

This place is great for kids but it's expenisve. My room balcony/pool area was dirty like they forgot to clean it. There was trash from a previous guest and the furniture was stained and filthy. For the price you are paying, I expected everything to be up to par.

WOW! Nickelodeon Resort absolutely blew us away! This wasn’t just a vacation—it was an experience of a lifetime for me, my wife, and our two boys (9 and 6). From the moment we arrived, everything screamed perfection. The resort? Spotless. Immaculate. Sparkling like it was built yesterday. The rooms? So clean you could eat off the floor—though you’d never need to because the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Most resort buffets are “meh,” but this one? I actually looked forward to every meal! The Piazza and The Bikini Bottom experience? Mind-blowing. And whoever invented peanut butter and jelly pizza for dessert deserves a medal—it was bold and DELICIOUS. The décor? Next level. Forget the typical Caribbean vibe—this place is a modern masterpiece that celebrates Nickelodeon’s artistry in the most stylish way possible. Now…the bad part. And honestly, it was BAD. The in-house excursion agency, Lomas Travel, was a nightmare. I told them my budget was $1,000 USD, and they PROMISED no extra charges for the two excursions we wanted. Guess what? Surprise! One excursion slapped me with an extra $90. And the photography? Infuriating. The night before, I asked if I could take photos—they said yes. At the excursion? NO PHOTOS ALLOWED. Want pictures? Pay more. It felt like being tricked at every turn. Avoid Lomas like the plague. Terrible agents, zero transparency. Bottom line: Nickelodeon Resort = 10/10 perfection. Lomas Travel = 0/10 headache factory.

The property is amazing, the water park is beautiful. The staff is very friendly but the only thing that i didnt like was the temperature of the swim out pools, the dont get sun at any time so they stay cold all the time. This is a kids hotel, if i immerse my 2 year old baby in that water she would get pneumonia, i suggest a water heater for those pools. They have plenty of sun, they can get solar panels. Besides that everything was great.

Todo estuvo genial, el personal muy amable, la comida de muy buena calidad. De los aspectos a mejorar son los sofá cama de las habitaciones. Rechinan mucho y los colchones son incómodos, comparándolos con sofá cama de otros hoteles del mismo rango de precio. Fuera de eso todo excelente y totalmente recomendable para familias con niños.

My stay at Nickelodeon Resorts (2 adults and 2 children) was excellent. The prices for the paid activities are a bit over the top, but nonetheless the stay was enjoyable. Meeting the various characters was a positively memorable experience for us and the children. The water park was also wonderful, but it was the highlight to us and there are only so many days you can visit the same water park. As such, we may not stay as long as we did on this occasion in the future. The only downsides I can recall were: 1) Our bedroom a/c leaked for the whole trip so we just left it off as it was pooling water on the floor. 2) Despite being a Platinum Expedia member and asking for my perk associated with the status at this VIP resort (as mentioned by Expedia in their communication to me) we were not afforded any upgrades or otherwise. The receptionist ignored my request on 2 occasions and on the third occasion she attempted to make it seem as though the concierge desk that everyone is afforded access to was the perk. Essentially, booking accommodation at this “VIP resort” and generating the Platinum status afforded no benefits, which is very very disappointing and the approach with which it was handled left much more to be desired. Despite these downsides, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the resort and will visit again, just for shorter periods.

Nos gustó mucho el hotel. La habitación muy espaciosa y cómoda. La comida del hotel muy buena y el parque acuático muy divertido y bien hecho para los niños. Lo único que no me gustó es que las albercas del hotel y de la habitación estaban frías. Me parece que deberían mejorar ese aspecto porque principalmente son niños los que van a disfrutar. Por ejemplo, mi hijo de 2 años de plano no quiso meterse al agua por lo frío del agua.

El primer día no salía agua caliente del cuarto, pero el personal lo resolvió. Luego el aire acondicionado tenía un olor bastante fuerte como a orina, tuvimos que dejarlo prendido con la ventana del cuarto abierta muchas horas para que se cambiara el olor. La comida deja mucho qué desear. Hay muy pocas opciones saludables en los restaurantes. La comida es excesivamente grasosa y el sabor y presentación dejaban mucho qué desear. Al ingresar no nos avisaron que había que reservar el transfer al aeropuerto y estuvimos apunto de perder la reservación. La playa está bastante pequeña y no te puedes meter al mar porque hay muchas piedras. El staff de entretenimiento no tenía muy buena disposición. La decoración del lobby y los restaurantes estaba super bonita, pero el edificio con los cuartos no tenía casi decoración, se sentía como "desolado". El cuarto estaba de muy buen tamaño, la cama super cómoda.

Amazing family trip. Worth every penny! The room pool is cold but such a great relief from the heat. The room was amazing and kept very clean by the amazing staff. Character breakfast was extra but WORTH IT!! The water park is the perfect size and was never over crowded. Overall amazing stay would go again!

Que se pongan más atentos los meseros en varios restaurantes yo creo que tienen que prestar un poco de más atención a los clientes te atienden una vez y después para el regreso se demoran demasiado……

El lugar está fantástico pero el servicio no es muy bueno ya que es lento, la gente no es servicial por lo que cobran que no es mi opción para visitar frecuentemente

The service at Nickelodeon Riviera Maya is top notch and truly shows Mexican hospitality. All the employees were nice, courteous, always smiling, always saying hello, and always willing to help. I was very impressed with the hospitality. We went to Nickelodeon Punta Cana 2 years ago and the service and food were terrible. Mexican food beats DR food by a very far stretch. The restaurants were good but lacks variety and not too adult focused. Piazza was the only restaurant that we were happy with. The beef tenderloin and pizza were really good and on par with the stuff back in the US. The shows were great for the kids as they enjoyed them every night we were there. Aqua Nick was excellent as it caters to the kids and the adults. They had 3 separate areas catering to all age groups. My son is a bit older so he preferred to go on the tall water slides and my little one preferred the Paw Patrol area. Just one thing that I can just say that I wasn't happy with. The theater has two rows of reserved seats with clear cloth covers that say "reserved". The first night we were there I asked 3 separate employees about sitting in those seats. All three of them said it was fine to sit in. However, on our last night, when they had guests with status arrive, the lady walked up to me and said this is reserved for people with status. I of course told her your employees told me to sit here and to please train them properly. I asked 3 of them because I understand the English barrier.

The property was super clean and staff was amazing and attentive. Food/Restaurant choices were limited in comparison to Hard Rock Punta Cana. Distance from room to lobby requires shuttle bus daily. Restaurant hours kind of crappy. Example roof top cafe is only open for 4hrs. Some places only open for dinner others for lunch although food was plentiful and descent we expected it to at least be at the same level as Hard Rock and it fell short. One other thing to be mindful of and not sure if anyone else experienced this the timeshare pushiness was a little over the top. Even though we said no and we would not waste 2+ hrs of our vacation time listening to something we don’t want they kept at it. Until I said fine you get 15 min of my time since our little one is autistic and adhd. They finally backed off. However they do try to lure you by saying oh you’re here for a week you get a special gift because you’re VIP etc all a scam to get you in on the presentation. Other than that would we go again absolutely resort was spotless, and the kids had a blast. The evening shows were great and better than most resorts.

Place is beautiful and lots of fun for kids. Room was beautiful. Food and drinks were ok. My issue was the lack of information shared with me about the hotel amenities and days events. We got there early and waited until 4:30. They never called me to inform me the room was ready. They also didn’t explain the check out procedure. I didn’t know about the QR code for events and missed many events on day one. Just wish a detailed email with information about the resort would have been shared before we arrived.

Te ofrecen servicios extras para que asistar a las pláticas para ventas de membresías y si no compras no cumplen con lo ofrecido. Con respecto al parque temático esperaba más.

There were multiple occasions that we weren’t offered anything to drink while we were dining and checkout and leaving the property was a hassle

One of the worst service at the hotel we ever had. We order a special cake with extra charge and was never delivered. They told us last moment. We order it at arrival with days in advance for a birthday. They even wanted to charge for it at the end of the stay. The cleaning staff left our room full door open for hours by mistake.we arrived at hear the tv on the hall. We thought it was the clean service but no one was inside the room We did not received an apology for it. The staff will try to sell a time share like crazy.

La propiedad es muy linda, la decoración es vistosa y los espacios amigables. Sin embargo, la distancia para traslado es mucha. Lo tienen perfectamente resuelto, pero toma más tiempo desplazarse del que uno espera. La propiedad no tiene playa accesible, su fuerte es el parque de diversiones, no el mar.

La vista al mar bonita, sin embargo no es muy buena la zona de playa 🏝️ poco espacio en general la experiencia es increíble.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had at any resort, especially considering how much we paid. You need to take a shuttle everywhere because the hotel, water park, and main lobby are not connected. They are a few minutes' drive apart, and the shuttles take forever due to high demand. The vans only fit about 15 people, so expect long wait times. If you need to go anywhere—whether to the buffet, water park, or restaurants—leave early, or you'll be stuck waiting. Also, since they transport wet guests from the water park, the shuttle seats are always soaked. There is only one buffet for the entire resort at breakfast, and you have to take a shuttle to get there. From the moment we left our room to when we actually sat at a table, it took 1 to 2 hours. We also couldn’t get a table at the premium steakhouse because reservations needed to be made weeks in advance—which we weren’t informed of—so our dining options were limited. The water park is open to the public, meaning anyone who pays an entrance fee can come in. Despite paying for a stay at this "exclusive" resort, we had to compete for chairs and tables with people from other hotels and even locals. Finding a place to sit and relax was nearly impossible unless you arrived first thing in the morning. The worst part? No hot water in the room for 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed. My wife, my kids, and I had to take freezing showers. If you’re considering staying here, be aware.

Aunque se promociona como todo incluido, en realidad no lo incluye todo. Hay un restaurante a La carta con costo y te ofrecen mesa más pronto en el desayunador si compras unas botellas de agua. Hice una reserva por esta vía, y resultó que no me habían cobrado lo de un menor, por lo que tuve que pagar directamente en el Hotel, aunque la reserva incluía un niño y venía como tal en el correo electrónico.

We loved the hotel but the food was TERRIBLE! Breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks… all terrible!

This is a great hotel for families and kids. The only issues is they say all include but everything is a up charge, they try to get you to pay more for everything . The water park is great for kids and adults making it a very fun family vacation. The food is decent overall.

I liked that there’s different restaurants/ places to choose from between lunch and dinner and the one restaurant for breakfast has a huge variety. What I didn’t like was that “All inclusive “ was not really all inclusive, I don’t like hidden fees charged at the very end when you are doing the check out about to leave the hotel. I was charged an Environmental Fee before leaving the hotel. Also the video advertisement on their social media page never mentions that there’s additional cost for the breakfast that includes the greet and meet with the characters. So I wouldn’t call it ALL inclusive
