A lot of great food options, mixed drinks are 2nd to none, staff always at your service and willing to help with anything you may need. Most special events are not well coordinated or executed, they feel a bit awkward, as most times you feel on your own to figure it out. Impressions building was built in 2023 I believe and already undergoing major maintenance/reno as their coveted 9th floor infinity pool was off limits during our stay and it was never communicated.

We had a wonderful experience at this property and will definitely be returning. The facility was clean and beautifully maintained; the room itself was spacious and incredibly clean as well. I cannot praise the staff enough; every single individual we encountered was friendly, helpful, and so welcoming. Our butlers, Alberto and Alexis, were the absolute best; they treated us with kindness, helped us book our experiences, and gave wonderful recommendations to make our time here unforgettable. They even helped with arranging reasonably priced, punctual, and reliable airport transportation. This was an amazing vacation where we felt carefree, well taken care of, and thoroughly enjoyed the experiences!

stunningly beautiful resort but no swimmable beach! They have a constant seaweed situation- there are however 14 pools total & 2 are rooftop pools and they are impressive with the view and the vibes one pool has a sand set up to feel like a beach - so overall it’s amazing, just if you love to swim in the ocean that’s a non thing here. Also many restaurant choices! Loved the restaurants vibes with outsides seating options & overall great vacation / entertainment vibe. Stayed in the Impression side so had access to all the upgrades and loved it. This is the kind of resort where you might find yourself not even wanting to leave for an excursion because there is so much to do. They have a store & a pharmacy on site with all the things and even a jewelry store. Very romantic vibes. Another thing I’d say is the staff is very polite but not for going the extra mile on requests, which surprised me. We had a butler we heard a lot of no’s from lol. But still we got what we needed I was just surprised we’ve had better service at other luxury places. This was on the impression side - the upgraded food /liquor and private pools on that side are definitely worth it if you like more privacy & luxury in the things. I stayed 10 days and throughly enjoyed it. We left one day only for an excursion kind of day. I would definitely go again for a shorter weekend even now that I know the property.

A beautiful property and great staff. The massive selection of pools helps to spread out the people so you never feel like the resort is crowded. There's random activities throughout the day and the night events were a bit more of a spectacle, which helped to break things up. A great variety of restaurants, though the quality of the food was inconsistent (3/4s of our group ended up with stomach issues). Room service food was poor and took 45 min-1 hour. The resort hard shuts down all restaurants from 11a-12p to flip from breakfast to lunch, which is odd to have an hour where you just can't get food. I'd recommend the resort to stagger at least a few restaurant times so that there's always something open. Bars are everywhere in the resort and the bartenders were very friendly and quick to serve. The drinks themselves were okay; don't expect anything beyond a standard 1oz-1.5oz pour. I recommend always ask for a liquor + mixer drink (or a beer) as the resort cocktails are overloaded with syrups and juices. There's an on-site club that open at 10:30pm. The music was all pretty standard top 40 remix stuff, nothing that was particularly great, but we made it work. The Impression stay gets you a butler, who are very attentive. We didn't utilize them very much, but they did help us with reservations and some room service. Overall, recommend if you're looking for a premium resort to relax and want everything at your finger tips, but quality of food and drink could be improved.

For how much the stay is I expected a bit more. The “butler service” was a joke. We never saw ours. We asked if they could fill our tub which is a service they offer and they told us to “turn the tubs left handle” also the tub and shower were very dirty. Other than that, the food was great, all the servers and bartenders were great. Transportation to airport AWFUL. Pay for private or your transfer to and from will be 3-4 hours because you share

This was the second Secrets resort i have visited. The resort is undeniably beautiful, the rooms immaculate, and the various pools had something for eveyone. But the best part of this resort is the staff. Everyone is ready to jump in and attend to your needs. If you are a night owl, i definitely recommend a swim out suite. Pools close at 6pm and the nightly entertainment and activity winds down before midnight. I still miss stargazing out in the plunge pool at night. I had plans to go on excursions to Tulum but, i quickly abandoned them not wanting to leave the resort. I will definitely be returning to Impressions. Best resort that i have stayed at hands down.

This was our second stay at Secrets Impression and we loved it again. The place is clean, has many pools, and the food/drinks are amazing. Only disappointment was the dinners at Seaside, the place was understaffed and food came out raw both times we went to it. Other than that, it was an amazing trip once again here. Special thanks to the following employees: Orlando at Cielo (awesome and the best!), Alejandra at Seaside and Cielo, and Benjamin and Eduardo at Seaside.

The property itself was beautiful, however, woke up at 2:30 in the morning to an ant infested room, they were every where, not just a few, but thousands. Have photos and film of the swarm. Tried to phone any service button on the phone and not one person answered. Went downstairs to the front desk and waited 10 minutes, no one was there or even came in the front lobby door. Went back upstairs, tried all the service calls again and finally someone in house keeping answered the phone and they showed up with bug spray. I wanted out of the room Immediately concerned the insects would find a way into our luggage. The house keeping staff found,the night desk clerk and he he stuck us in a room on the first floor that was dirty and smelled horrible. It had not been cleaned, there was not even water in the room, but he assured us that we would be put into a new room same category in the early morning as soon as the full time staff arrived. My husband and I could not Get back to sleep we were both freaked out and exhausted, this should not be happening in such an expensive and nice hotel and of course they amount of money we were paying seemed ridiculous that we should have to put up with this nonsense and somewhat lack of concern on the hotels part. At 7:30 am in the morning I went to the front desk having not heard from them and asked for a new room, at which point was informed that we would have to wait until at least noon until they accommodate that, it went down hill!

We've now stayed at this resort complex for two consecutive years, and our experience has only gotten better. Last year, we opted for Secrets with the preferred option, but this year, we upgraded to Impressions, and it was absolutely worth it. While we're not heavy drinkers or eaters, we do appreciate the premium alcohol options and delicious food that both Secrets and Impressions offer. That said, Impressions truly outshines Secrets in terms of both drink quality and food flavor. Everything feels fresher and more flavorful. Our favorites were Cielo and Seaside for breakfast and lunch, and the Italian restaurant and Seaside for dinner. The steak restaurant, unfortunately, fell short in terms of flavor and presentation. We booked an ocean-front room, which offered stunning views from both the balcony and inside. The room itself was spacious, and the minibar was regularly stocked with drinks (mostly water) and snacks. One of the standout features of Impressions is the personalized butler service. From the moment we arrived, our butler was there to assist us with everything, from check-in to room orientation. Monserrat, our evening butler, was exceptional. She was helpful, respectful, and attentive, even going the extra mile to set up a special birthday surprise for my husband. Thanks to the exceptional service we received at Impressions, we've already decided to return next year. We absolutely loved this property. We had a master suite with an ocean view and loved the room. The butler service was a luxury and Daniel was very attentive. The only difficult thing is that there are no reservations at the restaurants, except for Teodoro, so we ended up having to wait quite a long time to be seated at each restaurant. But the food was exquisite so it was worth the wait.

Started off poorly due to some issues in the room but got better as the week went along. Food is excellent, rooftop pool was beautiful. Dining option was a plenty just gotta know where to go and what’s open on what day. On a side note the entire resort is kinda dark including the room. For the ladies, don’t wear high heels cause due to the flooring around the resort you might fall fyi.. would definitely recommend and will go back.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we upgraded to an oceanfront suite and then they upgraded us to a panoramic view! We extended our stay two times because of weather issues, but absolutely loved it! Definitely will go back.

Impressions exceeded my expectations and was one of the best all inclusive resorts I have ever stayed at. Jorge at the pool gave incredible service and always cracked jokes with me and my fiancée. Jose did an excellent job with the entertainment and it was a pleasure to interact with him each day. Mariela and Francisco were our butlers and they did such an amazing job. This is NOT a 4.8 location...the ocean water is NOT useable (brown and strong odor of sewage) with a walking path about 10ft wide. What we and many other guests stated as "Harassment"... you are forced to endure upon your immediate arrival BEFORE getting your room key, their VIP team that sells people into property for around 500k. These people give you the talk about what is included at your resort stay then gives you the pitch to set a meeting time later at breakfast and doesnt take NO for an answer!!! The room service does NOT obey the Do-not-disturb door feature so make sure to DEADBOLT your door!! On another note,the rest of the staff is very kind and helpful and the place was not super crowded as we learned it just opened a few months ago. Music is almost always being played by live performers at the main pools and dining areas. The entertainment team day & night does a good job with activities and shows. What this place does have is a whole lot of pools and options to dine at if this is what you consider a vacation. With a 3 night stay we were good.

Me quede en Impression Moxche para mi cumpleanos, ya me he quedado anteriormente en Maroma, The Vine, Vallarta Bay, Dreams Vista. Me gusta mucho la marca. Al momento del check in no contaban con luz por la tormenta que habia, es comprensible. Pero no hubo nada de coordinacion la persona que nos recibio nos estaba llevando a secrets, cuando mi reserva era en Impression. No nos ofrecieron nada de tomar o una toalla humeda como en otros hoteles y nos hicieron esperar 10 minutos en lo que llegaba la persona de Impressions. Pienso que para lo que cobran mas de $1000 usd por noche la diferencia con un Secrets en preffered o normal no encuentro mucha diferencia, una botella de mezcal en el cuarto que cuesta $200 pesos, y 2 mayordomos que les solicito mi esposa una rebanada de pastel por mi cumpleanos y la ignoraron totalmente, largas filas en restaurantes mas de 45 min en la noche y en la manana mas de 15. No entiendo entonces los beneficios de Impressions. Lo que si nos gusto fue la comida y la atencion en los restaurantes muy bueno la verdad. La atencion de la alberca rooftop Impression muy lento mas de 20 minutos por un trago. No volveria a este hotel, aunque si esta muy bonito.

This property was amazing. From the pools to the dining options I didn’t haven’t any complaints as they went above and beyond on this all inclusive. It’s WORTH EVERY PENNY!.One thing to note is if you get in the ocean it is ROCKY !. Wear water shoes . The beach isn’t as bad as they claim but the pools here are the highlight . The one thing I didn’t like was the constant pushy timeshare pitch almost daily . That is very annoying and when people spend money and I mean high quality dollars and if someone tells you you do not want their”special breakfast “ for will amount to a 4 hour presentation to buy into there club leave your guest alone! Other than that the resort is excellent!

This is NOT a 4.8 location...the ocean water is NOT useable (brown and strong odor of sewage) with a walking path about 10ft wide. What we and many other guests stated as "Harassment"... you are forced to endure upon your immediate arrival BEFORE getting your room key, their VIP team that sells people into property for around 500k. These people give you the talk about what is included at your resort stay then gives you the pitch to set a meeting time later at breakfast and doesnt take NO for an answer!!! The room service does NOT obey the Do-not-disturb door feature so make sure to DEADBOLT your door!! On another note,the rest of the staff is very kind and helpful and the place was not super crowded as we learned it just opened a few months ago. Music is almost always being played by live performers at the main pools and dining areas. The entertainment team day & night does a good job with activities and shows. What this place does have is a whole lot of pools and options to dine at if this is what you consider a vacation. With a 3 night stay we were good.

Impressions Moxche was really nice, food was great and staff was helpful. Only thing that was missing was a beach, and the main pool was always fully occupied as a result. Also the concierge service is pretty much useless as compared to other hotels we had stayed at. Overall the hotel is beautiful and clean, but dont know if the impressions upgrade is worth it for the extra rooftop restaurant and pool.

Beautifully designed but no beach area. Seaweed everywhere that they did not even try and remove. The resort will also lose a lot of the beautiful aspects as it gets busier.

stunningly beautiful resort but no swimmable beach! They have a constant seaweed situation- there are however 14 pools total & 2 are rooftop pools and they are impressive with the view and the vibes one pool has a sand set up to feel like a beach - so overall it’s amazing, just if you love to swim in the ocean that’s a non thing here. Also many restaurant choices! Loved the restaurants vibes with outsides seating options & overall great vacation / entertainment vibe. Stayed in the Impression side so had access to all the upgrades and loved it. This is the kind of resort where you might find yourself not even wanting to leave for an excursion because there is so much to do. They have a store & a pharmacy on site with all the things and even a jewelry store. Very romantic vibes. Another thing I’d say is the staff is very polite but not for going the extra mile on requests, which surprised me. We had a butler we heard a lot of no’s from lol. But still we got what we needed I was just surprised we’ve had better service at other luxury places. This was on the impression side - the upgraded food /liquor and private pools on that side are definitely worth it if you like more privacy & luxury in the things. I stayed 10 days and throughly enjoyed it. We left one day only for an excursion kind of day. I would definitely go again for a shorter weekend even now that I know the property.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The service was very professional and very good. The food was exquisite. The cocktails were well prepared depending on the bar. For example, the Cover Bar, Rooftop bar, Seaside Beach Club and the Impression lobby prepared exquisite cocktails, however, at the Bamboo bar the cocktails were not well prepared. The restaurants were very good, except the Ember where the service was average and the food average. I would like to highlight the wonderful experience at the Teodoro restaurant.

As a couple in our 40s who have been avid travelers for many years, we can confidently say this resort exceeded our expectations in many ways. The cleanliness of the rooms, the excellent service, and the overall relaxing atmosphere stood out right from the start. The thoughtful room design, quality furnishings, and attentive butler service were especially impressive — truly a 10/10 experience.Dining was another highlight, with consistently good food options and top-notch spirits and cocktails. We would also rate the variety and availability of dining choices a 10/10.If we had one suggestion for improvement, it would be the dinner reservation system. At present, it feels like guests need to strategize daily, and even then reservations can be hard to secure unless you’re waiting right at the door between 6–7 PM. A more streamlined system would greatly enhance the guest experience.Additionally, while we loved the resort itself, the beach and water conditions were disappointing due to seaweed, which at times created an unpleasant smell.That said, these were minor drawbacks compared to the overall experience. This truly stands out as the best couples-oriented resort we’ve stayed at. Having visited multiple Secrets and Dreams properties as well as other brands within and beyond AM Resorts/Hyatt, this resort has left the strongest impression on us — and we look forward to returning.

We absolutely loved this property. We had a master suite with an ocean view and loved the room. The butler service was a luxury and Daniel was very attentive. The only difficult thing is that there are no reservations at the restaurants, except for Teodoro, so we ended up having to wait quite a long time to be seated at each restaurant. But the food was exquisite so it was worth the wait.

This was our second stay at Secrets Impression and we loved it again. The place is clean, has many pools, and the food/drinks are amazing. Only disappointment was the dinners at Seaside, the place was understaffed and food came out raw both times we went to it. Other than that, it was an amazing trip once again here. Special thanks to the following employees: Orlando at Cielo (awesome and the best!), Alejandra at Seaside and Cielo, and Benjamin and Eduardo at Seaside.

We had a wonderful experience at this property and will definitely be returning. The facility was clean and beautifully maintained; the room itself was spacious and incredibly clean as well. There were so many included experiences that we enjoyed (the restaurants, speakeasy, yoga, pilates, pickleball) and the premium experiences were 100% worth it (spa, and the fine dining experiences). I cannot praise the staff enough; every single individual we encountered was friendly, helpful, and so welcoming. Our butlers, Alberto and Alexis, were the absolute best; they treated us with kindness, helped us book our experiences, and gave wonderful recommendations to make our time here unforgettable. They even helped with arranging reasonably priced, punctual, and reliable airport transportation. This was an amazing vacation where we felt carefree, well taken care of, and thoroughly enjoyed the experiences!

Stayed 5nights in Impressions. Well worth it. 5/5 stars for service from staff all around the property. Only thing I would ding (cause of the the American fatty in me) is that the room service options for food is lacking. All I want is a pizza or chicken strips after a day of being by the pool and skipping dinner. Go and have a great time, you won't be disappointed!!

A beautiful property and great staff. The massive selection of pools helps to spread out the people so you never feel like the resort is crowded. There's random activities throughout the day and the night events were a bit more of a spectacle, which helped to break things up. A great variety of restaurants, though the quality of the food was inconsistent (3/4s of our group ended up with stomach issues). Room service food was poor and took 45 min-1 hour. The resort hard shuts down all restaurants from 11a-12p to flip from breakfast to lunch, which is odd to have an hour where you just can't get food. I'd recommend the resort to stagger at least a few restaurant times so that there's always something open. Bars are everywhere in the resort and the bartenders were very friendly and quick to serve. The drinks themselves were okay; don't expect anything beyond a standard 1oz-1.5oz pour. I recommend always ask for a liquor + mixer drink (or a beer) as the resort cocktails are overloaded with syrups and juices. There's an on-site club that open at 10:30pm. The music was all pretty standard top 40 remix stuff, nothing that was particularly great, but we made it work. The Impression stay gets you a butler, who are very attentive. We didn't utilize them very much, but they did help us with reservations and some room service. Overall, recommend if you're looking for a premium resort to relax and want everything at your finger tips, but quality of food and drink could be improved.
