SpringHill Suites Alexandria

The room was clean and the staff was nice from checking in to checking out. The location is prefect to getting back on the highway.

We had to leave before breakfast sadly. Were able to get a few grab & go items for kids. Parking was nice and free. Staff very accommodating, needed more blankets, towels, and sheets. Liked large size of room & small kitchenette area

The room was clean. Breakfast was pretty good. Only thing that really bugged us was that we booked this hotel specifically for the pool. The entire time we were staying there the pool was closed for being “under maintenance”. The front desk made it sound like a kid pooped in the pool or something but that doesn’t take days to take care of. I have a feeling they keep that sign up on a regular basis because other people have complained on the same thing recently there. Maybe they don’t want to deal with taking care of it. It was a letdown because the kids were looking forward to it. They didn’t seem eager to fix the issue or compensate us until we asked on our last day, which they gave us free parking. When we looked at the pool it looked perfectly fine. Just bad luck I guess.
