This is a tricky review to write - the hotel is spotlessly clean, lovely location, and I had a pleasant stay in a basement level twin room. However, I had booked a single room - the first I was shown to on the top floor was tiny, with a window which barely opened and an AC unit not working properly: it was far too warm and claustrophobic. In fairness, a very polite front desk moved me to another room in an adjacent building - but also tiny and this time with only a pane of glass and a window which didn’t open. I wasn’t willing to stay in either and I was charged a fee to upgrade to the basement room I slept in - which was very comfortable. And good free breakfast was served the next day. It seems like many of the rooms here are good - and I would stay in one of these again - but I have to warn against the single rooms unless a very tight space is of no concern to you.

Room was small but perfectly functional. Air con was very welcome. Spotless accommodation and breakfast was more than adequate

Nice property, excellent location, very close to Kings Cross Station. Lively and beautiful area. Delicious breakfast and very helpful staff. Main downside is rooms are tiny, single rooms especially so with v small bathrooms. Double rooms and bathrooms much better. I also switched my room from the 3rd floor to 2nd floor. No elevators and very narrow staircase to 3rd floor - 3rd floor feels claustrophobic and I do not recommend. I also thought on 3rd floor I could hear everything from adjoining guest rooms and that was not pleasant. Housekeeping services, AC, and in room espresso was great.

This is a lovely hotel, well maintained, clean and an excellent location. However the room was very small and we could hardly walk around the one side and bottom of the bed. OK for one night but not comfortable for a longer stay

Nice staff, good aircon and great breakfast. Very small rooms and many stairs to climb to get there.
