This was difficult to rate The breakfast was great The location is good The staff are nice The price was very high the first day because of some surge pricing in Brussels- rest of the days were acceptable The issues The wifi is open just like any restaurant so you will need VPN software - they have a secure wifi for the staff and in took 3 days to advise me that I would not get access to it There was a wifi repeater in room 114 behind the TV. It should have been in a hallway or elsewhere There was some water damage on the walls Bathtub was too high and hard to get into. Glass door to the tub could only open one way because the tub was too high Room configuration was strange and too narrow -maybe that is why we got our room early Get a VPN before you travel and book early. Good location, parking was not to easy, you have to go around to park the car. Staff was awesome, very kind and helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Just in front of the hotel you can rent an electric scooter, which is a great way to move in Brussels.

Great location, good restaurants etc around Ixelles but also right next to the centre, with a metro station direct to the Eurostar nearby. Reception were friendly. Water and coffee available in the lobby the whole time. Would stay there again.

We stayed in Superior Double Room. Although the room is a bit small, it was fairly comfortable with good air conditioning, fridge, and electric kettle. The only shortcoming was that it took 10-15 minutes to have warm water from the shower. Breakfast is very nice. An underground public parking (Interparking Toison D’Or) is available for 15 Euros per 24 hours that is inexpensive rate for Brussels. (Hotel discount rate is not available.) Almost all major touristic sites in Brussels are within walking distance. If the hot water situation would be improved, I would give 10 marks to the Hotel.

Our room wasn't large but it was all we needed for a few days in Brussels and came with a fridge and safe, which are often missing in budget hotels. The room was perfectly clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower was always hot with plenty of pressure, and we really appreciated the blackout shutters that we could close at night. Whenever we interacted with staff they were friendly and helpful, and the complimentary fruit and coffee in the lobby was a really nice touch. The hotel is very conveniently located near to shops and a metro station. The only word of warning I'd give is that the street itself where the hotel is located is something of a back street, though seemingly a popular short cut, and doesn't feel the safest at night, but we never saw any actual trouble and it wouldn't stop me staying here again.

La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica, vicinissima al centro di Bruxelles e vicina alla metro e alla fermata del bus. Positivo il fatto che l’hotel mettesse a disposizione degli ospiti ombrelli (in caso di pioggia), acqua e caffè gratuitamente. Purtroppo la pulizia lasciava molto a desiderare. Appena arrivati abbiamo trovato due asciugamani sporchi e c’erano polvere e capelli evidenti in giro per la stanza. Inoltre, la camera che avevamo non era ben isolata dal punto di vista sonoro.

Alles in allem ein gemütliches Hotel in guter Lage direkt in der Nähe der Metro Station. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Das Zimmer an sich war sehr klein. Der kleine Schreibtisch war mit einem Fernseher zugestellt. Leider war das Zimmer bei unser Ankunft nicht sauber. Sowohl unterm Bett als auch im Bad waren Spuren der Vormieter zu finden. Schade

Bedden zijn goed, schoonmaak kan beter. Vloeren zijn overal toe aan vervanging, zitten er versleten en viezig uit. Muren hebben allemaal een verfje nodig. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

I had a very positive stay at the Aqua Hotel. The location is excellent — just a 2-minute walk to the bus stop and underground station, and only a 15-minute walk to the center of Brussels. The room was clean, well-ventilated, and had a great shower. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Mel, who went above and beyond with support, tips, and advice — she really made my stay special! Overall, the hotel offers great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Brussels.

Personal an Rezeption sehr hilfsbereit. Der junge Angestellte im Frühstücksraum war auch sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Zimmer waren in den Innenhof, daher auch bei geöffnetem Fenster leise. Wir bekamen leider am 2. Tag keine frischen Handtücher und mussten uns zu zweit mit einem begnügen.

So this was a great hotel, staff were excellent and positioned about 4 stops from the main train station. The room had alot of room and the bed was massive. Our only problem was it had that typical bathroom door were you can see everything going on inside, plugs no where near the bed and the main lights not being that bright. Overall great hotel to set up base in.

Unfortunately the room was noisy and light even at night. The curtain is so thin that light comes in the room from the corridor all night in 609. There is also intermittent water sounds from the bathroom that sound like the cistern is filling up. So the bed was comfortable, but it made sleep particularly disturbed.

Room was very spacious. There is no laundry facility as stated on hotels.com but an expensive laundry service instead. There is free coffee from a good coffee machine at the lobby and reusable glass flasks/bottles to collect filtered water from the machine at the lobby. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Kind reception, pretty good location, breakfast wasn't too bad. The room we got was in the basement with a tiny window and a huge pillar in the middle. TV was on adjacent wall rather than opposite to bed which was very diffcult to watch in the evening, addtionally no streaming services available. Booked a room with queen size bed, good two twin put together with two separate mattresses and a small topper which made it very uncomfortable in the middle. I get that 'every room is different' but I payed the same price so would expect same level of comfort and amenities

The hotel is an unexpected surprise on a tawdry street. The facilities are clean and modern and breakfast was fresh and diverse. Desk staff was dismissive upon our early arrival, and did not even ask our names. Public transportation and many shops and restaurants are within an easy walk.

All the receptionists were friendly and knowledgeable, fluent in English. Breakfast was a great add on. Walking distance to the train station which was what we were looking for. Travelled as a couple. Will definitely add this location and their hotel chain to our hotels list.

The room was clean, staff were very polite and helpful. If we needed to go somewhere, they helped us with directions. The hotel was well situated for the purpose of our visit. The Metro just 2 minutes away and 1 minute walk to the high street. Safe area too.

The hotel is very conveniently located near to shops and a metro station. The only word of warning I'd give is that the street itself where the hotel is located is something of a back street, though seemingly a popular short cut, and doesn't feel the safest at night, but we never saw any actual trouble and it wouldn't stop me staying here again.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice lobby, and even nicer rooms. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Although still walkable, the hotel is a bit of a trek walking from main tourist attractions, and the walk is up a very steep hill. Definitely difficult if you're not used to hilly areas, but worth it for the price. One morning, someone opened our door at 8am while we were asleep even though I put the do not disturb sign on the door. Also, they randomly cancelled our booking in the system, so we walk back 40 mins uphill to make sure everything was okay as their phone number didn't work. Luckily everything was fine and the guy at the front desk was very friendly. However, it did kind of disrupt our day, but accidents happen. The area around the hotel is neat with some shopping and good food, but the hotel itself is in what feels like an alley way and wouldn't feel safe at night.

Great hotel located in a great area..close to many stores and restaurants as well as a 15 minute walk from down town and near public transport.there is a coffee machine and a water machine in the lobby (however missing milk for coffee) staff are great located on a side street near a club ( but didn’t really get any noise from it) but it is a dirty street but not unsafe ..I did not feel unsafe just unpleasant to walk it. The bonus is there are shutters in the windows to minimize the noise and light into the room. I would definitely stay there again

Although it is a 5-minute walk from a major posh shopping street, the immediate surrounding area is a little creepy after dark (dirty, dark, graffiti- and trash-covered). However, the hotel itself is bright and safe and clean. I didn’t interact much with staff but although a few were brusque, most of them (especially those late at night) were courteous and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and generous. The room I was in was compact but well appointed and perfect for my needs since I don’t expect or want frills. I ask for a comfortable bed with clean bedding, functioning and clean plumbing, and a sense of security. I got that. Once I got used to the street, I was very happy with my choice and will likely return the next time I am in the city.

Great location, good restaurants etc around Ixelles but also right next to the centre, with a metro station direct to the Eurostar nearby. Reception were friendly. Water and coffee available in the lobby the whole time. Would stay there again.

I had a very positive stay at the Aqua Hotel. The location is excellent — just a 2-minute walk to the bus stop and underground station, and only a 15-minute walk to the center of Brussels. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very helpful. The location was mixed. It's just a couple of minutes from transit stops and not too far from some good restaurants recommended by the staff. However, we felt a little bit uncomfortable walking from the hotel to the main street. It wasn't real bad, but it wasn't really good.
