Grosvenor Motel

I really enjoyed my stay. Room was clean and staff very approachable - I asked for sugar and black tea everyday and they were very hospitable. Also assisted by calling me taxi when I needed it. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet and I will definitely come back when I visit NZ again. I hope one day you can open a cafe or restaurant or provide basic breakfast (even just cereal and milk). Great value for money, clean and great location

Good value for money, comfortable stay and the room was clean. There was a “smell” as such when first entering the room, but once I put the air con on and sprayed some perfume around the room that issue was fixed. Unfortunately there was a couple arguing in the room above mine approx 9pm when I was trying to enjoy a bath - but that’s not the motels fault! Could hear sirens on the main road (was surprised how often this was!) but TV can drown that out. Was a bit of a pain that the only bathroom light was connected to a fan/extractor so using the bathroom at night was very noisy. But all in all, a comfortable stay, clean & tidy room, quick & simple check in/out, in a good location and has everything needed for a night (except a hair dryer which I saw you need to request at reception)
