One Warwick Park Hotel

Great hotel. Well furnished. Plenty of space. Spread out over three buildings. Greatblication bybthe Pantiles. Just be careful ... some rooms (townhouse) have no lift and steep stairs. If this is a concern let them know when reserving.

Everything was well designed and in very good order. Friendly and professional staff. Very comfortable room with everything you need and excellent value for money. Parking available (reservation needed but worth it). There was some noise outside the hotel one night. Good meal in the Brasserie apart from being charged for the water (it’s the little things that niggle you)! Should have been offered tap water. Apart from that a great stay and would visit again.

Shower took 20 minutes before hot water available. Controls confusing. Zero food options Sunday evening. Despite advertising lifts the hotel is not wheelchair accessible due to steps/stairs to access lifts

Liked the hotel and the staff were very helpful. Parking was the problem - we had to park about 15 minutes walk away which for my husband who is nearly 80 was too far. No one had told us that it was possible to pre-book a car space in a nearby car park.

Great Location for a visit to Tunbridge Wells. Easy to locate but would suggest booking parking in advance, booking implied parking is available but there is limited spaces available

Modern hotel, well situated within easy walk of all attractions. Good value but no on site parking. Free parking on the road about 20 minute walk away.

Excellent stay with friends. Friendly, helpful staff and well appointed, clean hotel. The only criticism would be the lack of any “normal” beer available. Peroni was fine for members of our party who drink lager but the strange fruit craft beers were disliked by our ale drinkers.

Check in excellent and the room was lovely. However, we wanted a drink and room service at 9.45 pm on a Saturday night - not a problem one would expect at a 4* hotel - well it was - the bar was closed, the kitchen was closed - the only member of staff in the place was a new night porter who didn't even know how to pour a pint. Sorry - but I find that completely unacceptable for a 4* hotel not to be able to provide a basic service to paying guests. It may have said closing times somewhere in the small print - it certainly was not on the room amenities booklet that I could see. What a shame - the location, initial check-in, room and value for money all great - but I will not be returning. Contrast that with the lovely lady who checked us in and organised us a coffee, even tho' breakfast had finished.

Hotel building layout unique as it consists of a coupe of restored buildings with a typical old England alleyway cutting between.

The staff member who checked us in was friendly and professional . It went downhill from there. Our room was really cold as if the A/C had been permanently on. We tried to use the wall controls to adjust the temperature but nothing happened. We reported the issue to reception and also that the heated towel rail wasn’t working as we thought this might warn the room up. Receptionists tried to adjust temp via ipad to no avail. We said we were going out to eat and were reassured the room would be up to temperature on our return. When we got back to our room later on the room was exactly the same. We went down to reception and were told the manager would come and speak to us . A member of staff came up to say they had ‘reset’ the boiler and to give it half hour. Nothing could be done with the towel rail. Half hour later I rang down to say the room was still really cold, the guy on reception apologised but said nothing could be done until the next day when we were leaving anyway the hotel had a wedding reception and there was noise until late, we asked to move rooms but the hotel was full so this wasn’t possible. On checkout I again mentioned the issues with our room - temperature, noise and showed a photo of the thick dust on the bedside tables. The pvc was also peeling badly on the headboard. The room looked very tired and seemed to us we were out in this room as the wedding guests were in the better rooms. We saw no manager during our stay. I emailed the hotel, no response

From the moment we walked in we felt like we had walked into a swanky London hotel. The receptionist could not have been more helpful giving us directions to our chosen restaurant for the evening. As we approached our room there was a door in the corridor that had a card activated lock to prevent non-guests from entering, a very reassuring security feature. On entering our room we could tell that cleanliness was of utmost importance as the room smelt fresh. The room was very spacious and well organised. The shower room was huge with two types of shower heads. We went for our evening meal and on returning the receptionist asked if we had a good meal and even asked what we had to eat. The best experience we have had at a hotel ever.

Warm welcome on arrival,quick check in and shown to our room. Property is a bit of a maze so the assistance was appreciated Room was compact but looked very fresh & clean. Quality toiletries and refreshments. Complimentary water was a nice touch. Only gripe is the slightly awkward shower controls, which ca9be reached unless you are standing in the shower or have exceptionally long arms

We didn’t know what to expect when we booked this hotel for a wedding in the area. When we went inside it was just stunningly beautiful clean and modern. The staff in the front desk took care of our bags until we returned in the evening. We were taken to our room by one of the night staff who carried our bag. An absolutely lovely hotel and staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

There was palpable mold that made breathing difficult.

A wonderful stay in a very clean, modern & welcoming hotel. The reception staff are super-polite and efficient and the room is spacious & very clean & comfortable. We stayed in the main reception building (there are apparently 3 buildings?!). Beds are incredibly comfortable & the location of the hotel to all the town has to offer is great. Would definitely return.

Everyone was unfailingly pleasant, friendly & helpful. There was a room mix up - which was dealt with calmly and efficiently. Issues never felt rushed or hidden, just addressed & resolved (which is unusual & impressive). The hotel was spotlessly clean all areas and rooms. If I had any remotely negative comment - it would be that it was around 13:00 & the bar was unmanned ... but that probably says more about the people meeting me than the hotel. Will stay again.

The hotel is modern and stylish. Nice bar and restaurant. Bedroom is modern and spacious. The best thing is the location. Within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Always my go to in T. wells when visiting family. Close proximity to the Pantiles is amazing for food + Drink. Easy access to town. Great rooms (get the suite if you can)

Amazing stay - excellent check in ( very friendly girl at the check in). Stayed in the Junior Suite - it was very large, very clean, styled very very nicely. Really great location ( walked aprox 8 min from train station, with full luggage with no issues). Close to great resturants and some bars with some shopping. Really enjoyed the stay.

Hotel chic. Service from staff great. We stayed in a deluxe double, which was a great size. Comfy bed. However we had the bins in the courtyard, which were noisy. The main issue is the lack of parking. On street parking which isn't restricted is a good 15 mins walk away which with bags isn't great.

The room was very comfortable, and clean. The hot drinks tray was well stocked. The bathroom was good, but the water temperature was cool despite allowing it to run for ages. So the shower was a bracing experience. The breakfast was disappointing- bacon was minimal and chewy, and the cafetière coffee was bitter. The reception staff were friendly, and allowed an early check In, and reallocated rooms so that we had 2 rooms that were closer together. I would definitely stay again.

We had a superior room and the finish of the materials was top notch. You’ll need to book it separately if you need car parking. Really high end hotel.

Room and hotel generally were good but let down by 2 things ... no prior warning that parking had to be booked in advance meaning we had to use a public car park 500m away,.....plus an extremely annoying small light in the bedroom ceiling which was presumably part of the fire security system, which flickered very noticably all night ...not good ! Apart from these issues it was a comfortable stay and nice breakfast.

I arrived at this hotel and was met by one person in reception who told me I didn't have a reservation. I showed this person my booking through a third party and had to wait 20 minutes as she tried to work out how to use the computer. After all this time, despite having paid for my hotel room in full, I was asked for my credit card so the room amount could be “held” on my card. I have stayed at this hotel before when they insisted on this “hold” on my card and was furious to find that not only had I already paid for my room in full before arriving, the hotel took an additional full payment from my card which took 14 days to be released back into my account. On this occasion I told the receptionist the prior circumstances and refused a “hold” on my credit card. I understand that other prior guests may have not been honest with regard to additional services being ordered to their room; but surely a better stance would be to refuse room service if a client didn’t wish to put a “hold” on their credit card. In total I spent 35 minutes in reception waiting to check in with a member of staff who had no clue what they were doing and further had to argue about extra “holding” charges being applied. In the circumstances, I will never stay at this hotel ever again. It’s not a nice feeling to arrive somewhere and be immediately viewed as untrustworthy. I have stayed up the road at Hotel du Vin who do not operate a deposit system and will, in future, stay with them instead.

Centrally-located, quiet, attractive and well-appointed hotel with many conveniences. Staff generously upgraded the room when there was a problem with the facilities in the one initially assigned; this prompt attention to guests’ needs was greatly appreciated.

Hotel was great, But breakfast was not good as we had to wait 10 mins for bacon & fried eggs, Parking is a problem trying to find a spot close to the Hotel.
