Beautiful property, everyone there went above and beyond to make our time there memorable. The accommodations, we stayed in a residence, were very nice, clean and well thought out. The pillows left a little to be desired but slept like a baby after all the sun and fun. Lots of diverse free activities for some new experiences. (my husband probably wishes I had NOT learned to throw an axe :) The skeet shoot was better than expected with 10 rounds at 10 stations, all different. The fishing boats were pretty underpowered and difficult to get from point A to B. If you do the nature hike, load up on sunscreen, take water and wear a hat, 3 of the 5 miles are open range-no shade! RC, I highly recommend it!

We enjoyed ourselves. I thought that there were a few overpriced things, but we had fun. We were disappointed that they didn't have enough horses to allow all guests to ride and had a several day waiting period. For the amount of money spent there are many other options that we could have and maybe should have tried. I wanted to check this place out and it was nice but they price it like it's the Ritz Carlton in Denver or Telluride Colorado. The food was way too overpriced. But hey if you have a couple of thousand to burn for the weekend it's not a bad place just to check out the area. But we could have achieved the same thing and spent 1,000 less. I am not blaming them, this is America but probably won't return because of inflated prices.

Rough Creek Ranch was spectacular. I was not familiar with the ranch prior to booking the trip. My family of six traveled there because my son has a football scholarship to TCU. He enjoyed the five star dinner the first night and my family was entertained with the many activities including pickle ball, putt putt golf and access to many activities of all sorts. Would recommend the ranch to all especially those with children. Thoroughly impressed. Will return. A diamond in the rough. No pun intended

We saw a few medium-sized spiders in the Airbnb house, which may concern some guests. However, my 11-year-old son was not bothered by them at all. Overall, it was a wonderful place, and he had a blast enjoying most of the activities the resort offers.
