Newly renovated hotel. Bright and welcoming. Booked it because it had a bar and grill inside. After driving all day escaping the hurricanes path we just wanted something quick and easy. Went to the bar to order food. Said it was open tul 10 pm. It was 8:30. Bartender said the grill was already closed down, but u can order from the appetizer menu. Totally good with that. Placed my order for pork sliders and chips and queso. Almost paid for it when the cook came out and said she didn’t have any more pork or tacos. But could fill the chips or do a shrimp appetizer. I said nope that will not work. Went back to the room and ordered from the food place down the road. If the grill is open til 10 I would expect to get menu items up until 9:15 or so. Because of the renovations there are a lot of conexes in the parking lot. Which is fine, but there was hardly any parking left. Once those are gone, there should be more parking available.

The hotel was being renovated. Furniture and fixtures had very recently been delivered and were piled up in the lobby with the packing plastic still on it. The front desk was set up down the side foyer on an 8ft folding table. The bar was a 6 ft folding table with a tablecloth. Understandable that this is all temporary, but detracts from the overall experience. However, the employees were super nice and made up for the environment. Good luck with the project!

While property seems new and has potential.. the service and cleanliness left plenty to be desired. First on arrival the staff alerts me that carpets on my floor have just been washed .. and I mean just washed as in still damp/wet .. they also stated that was only option to stay in as they where sold out. Further they had their gym closed for repairs but had some sort of dining set up in the area . Again they have potential but need better planning/managing to such things . Thankfully it was a stay that didn’t require being @ the hotel much but for just sleep .. but imagine telling your paying customers that the room is wet and there’s no alternative.. shameful really

Hotel was average at best. Pool and Gym were closed. They were doing some remodeling which needs to be included in description. Maybe it will be better in the future. If I could have found another place I would have canceled the reservation

The staff was wonderful and friendly. The location was close to a lot of food and taprooms. Great! The room had stains on the carpet and ceiling and the bathroom caulk by the tub was either stained with mold or had active mold. We found a dirty sock underneath one of the beds.

Our carpet was soaking wet. The whole second floor carpet had been cleaned that day. The facilities are under some sort of remodel. The breakfast was great and the servers were very helpful. I tried to call for a late checkout and the only way they would answer the phone is if I said reservation when they answered then when I said late checkout I was put on hold and they wouldn't answer. Bad business practice.

When booking the trip through Expedia, I had several lodging options within the area. The hotel I chose was making renovations to the property, but this was not made j own to me when selecting this property over others. Had I been made aware of these conditions, I would have chosen a different hotel. The laundry room for guests to use was not in service. This was an issue for us that caused us to change plans. The lobby was under construction. Not exaggerating when I say the next morning when we left the hotel for the day we walked through a dust cloud that filled the entire lobby. I took a quick glance at the “dining area” and decided we would not be eating/drinking anything from there due to the renovations. Worst was the air conditioning in our room. The AC simply wouldn’t get cool enough no matter how low the setting. Again, there were plenty of other options to choose from. Disappointed that this property was even an option.

The interior of the building has recently undergone a renovation. It looked great and everything was very clean and modern. However, the staff were mostly unhelpful and unfriendly. There was a point when my daughter and I were locked out of our room for 30 minutes and no one was at the front desk - in the middle of the day. It made us borderline late to her basketball game. I ended up leaving and driving her to Dick's to buy new shorts instead of waiting around another 30 minutes. It says breakfast is served at 6:30am, but it's really served at 7am. And it's not worth the money. We were the 3rd family through and they had already ran out of bacon and bagels. Save your money - go to Chickfila around the corner. Not to mention the lady running the breakfast was unfriendly and short. Finally, it boasts a restaurant, but it was either not opened or unstaffed during our stay. There wasn't a single person in that area the entire 72 hours stay (Friday - Sunday).

Booked multiple double queen rooms and multiple rooms were changed to a single king. Check in lady wasn’t helpful but was nice and said they were at capacity. Lady that handled check out was rude and blamed the booking site for the room changes. She acted like it was bothering her to do her job and refused to give me a receipt for the rooms that were booked through a 3rd party site. Be careful booking this hotel on a booking site or you may not get what you expect.

Motel was full the Saturday we was there (02/25/2023). Bar was closed all day till 5:00 and restaurant was closed to till 5:00pm. Wouldn't make coffee when it did open. Lost a lot of money that day with everything not opening to 5:00.

The hotel itself was nice, the beds were very comfortable. The A/C and heating were very good and bathroom updated but no walk-in shower. The shower head and water pressure were bad, very bad and the water temperature wouldn’t get warmer than luke warm. The breakfast was pretty typical for a buffet style breakfast, of which they now charge you for, it was not worth the money. I’ve had better for the price at other places.

The hotel room was very clean. The beds were okay. The hotel was low staffed and very loud. There were people drinking right in front of the doors to come in, and their were guests next to our room who frequently played their music loud (piercing loud) in the hallway and their room, and also would scream very loudly obscene things randomly. They also made so much ruckus they sounded like they were coming through our wall. This was until almost 1:30am. They were sitting in the hallway in the morning too when we went to check out, it was awful.
