Pool wasn't in order and wasn't posted online. Construction was around and loud. Kitchen was small and super crowded. Kitchen staff was extremely lovely and helpful. Would not go back though.

This property allows dogs and they barked all night long. The property smelled horrible. I had a smoke free room and it smelled like someone smoked their entire stayed and they sprayed to try and mask it. The breakfast used to be so good and now it is subpar. No meat. I've been coming to this property for over 10 years. I'm shocked at how it has gone down. They were very friendly so I hope changes are made so they can reach their 2022 status.

The staff was helpful and kind, but the elevator was down and we were on the 3rd floor -- not totally their fault...stuff just happens sometimes! Our room was fine but one stairway was stinky.

Pool was closed. Smells were intolerable. The overflowing trash bin may have been the cause. Plus, there was the smoke smell possibly from another guest. Breakfast was gross (pretty sure it was expired milk). Fridge in room only had one setting that froze our beverages. Room had water damage on ceiling and incomplete flooring and baseboards. AC seemed to make everything damp. Cockroach was final straw to check out early.

Very disappointed with our stay this weekend. The hotel had a very strong odor of curry, along with a musty scent in all the hallways and elevator. The pool being out of service was not disclosed, even after I made 2 calls before our arrival and spoke to hotel staff. This information about the pool was not disclosed at check either. No signs posted. The only way we were made aware of the pool was by asking for the Pool hours and location. Staff said, " The city of Houston has shutdown the pool." A heads up or disclosure would have been nice.

Toilet seat was missing a fastener, Ice machine was inoperable on second floor and I was not informed, phone didn't work at first and air conditioner wasn't working at first. Pool area furniture needs updating and jacuzzi was inoperable

Overall would stay at this hotel again. The young lady checking us in was very nice but after that the person at the front desk seemed to always be away from the desk. Breakfast:not much to look forward to. Even for continental not many choices. Nothing was chilled (butter, yogurt or beverages). But then again none of the ice machines worked either and there were 3 of them.

The room is very good and spacious, the environment is very clean and nice, but the breakfast is nothing to write home about, also the elevator was down for 2 days out of 4 days i stayed.

This hotel was disgusting. First when I got to my room, they called me to tell me that they had to spray my room for roaches. The morning of my check out there was a roach on my bed. There were also questionable bodily fluids on the walls. When I complained to the front desk, all I was told was that they would tell the manager. Nothing else was done.

Our room had ROACHES, both in the bathroom and around the refrigerator. There was a bright blinking light outside our window that flickered all night. The curtains were able to block it a bit but it was unnerving in the middle of the night. The room had a strong cologne smell that was not pleasant. It may have been used to cover a musty smell.

We booked two rooms and stayed with family and friends. The rooms have roaches and we found 2 on the bed as well. It was late at night and they were fully booked as per the receptionist. She offered us a different room and as soon she opened the door we saw roaches crawling inside the room. The receptionist killed it by stepping on it. The manager came in the morning and very apologetic and he gave us a free night for one of the room. Which was nice of him but the place needs to be cleaned elevators were working and rooms were smelly with roaches. The manager was nice but property itself and rooms are not properly taken care of.

Checked into hotel and the room's a/c was not working, room had a musty smell .Went to the front desk and reported it ,he gave me another room ,but the card he programmed did not work so i had to go back downstairs and get that fixed ,second room a/c working beautiful, but the room was dirty, shower head hasn't been cleaned in months and saw about 4 roaches at night when i got up to go to the bathroom. The whole place is nasty.Definetely would never stay here again.

The room beds had roaches a lot in bathrooms and even saw some at breakfast room while having breakfast, I told the front desk they just moved me to another room wen efe we found even more, my kids where terrified having them crawls on our bodies when we where sleeping . The worst experience ever, thankful Expedia help us transfer to a new hotel where we had the best stayed ever with our refund. House2 by Hilton … I’m never staying at La Quinta ever again!!

Not recommended. Noisy. We spent 4 nights there in third floor. It was so noise: kid running/ couple argument in the lobby. You will hear the crazy noise everytime other room open the door. It was so noise. It will wake you up anytime at night.

The A/C in my room was clearly malfunctioning. They had someone check it and he said it was fine also stating “these rooms don’t get too cold”. Woke up sweating so the next morning I had to change rooms. There’s an excessive amount of bugs flying around the cafeteria area and throughout the halls. This is probably the first time I’ve felt the need to leave a review anywhere but this stay was awful. Not the worst place in the world but I will definitely not return here.

I understand things happen but to say the issue will only take the afternoon and here it is 9pm and still not an oz of hot water is crazy to me. There’s no solution, no help, no. Resolve. I have a funeral in the morning and can’t even do my hair or take a bath.

I was there for 3 days on my last night I saw 3 roaches in my room good thing I left. The WiFi did not work and I let them know if the front about the tv not working they said they only had a few channels that works and they were all sports I have 2 children they did not have nothing to watch the whole weekend.

Staff that was there the night we checked in wasn't even friendly at all. And we did a courtesy call to let them know we are gonna be 15 mins late from our estimated time of arrival,and she was so rude on the phone, she sounded like she is laughing at us. And I believe the same staff that was on the call and the one that was there that night are the same. She isn't friendly nor welcoming at all. And is very distracted with her airpods. The room is very dirty, you can see it from the floor, and the bathroom is very dirty. We also did their complimentary breakfast, and oh my gosh. My daughter wants some orange juice, but you can see the gnats inside of the orange juice pitcher, it was gross. We will never go back there.

When I first saw my room it wasn’t cleaned, the towels had brown residue on it and there was no blow-dryer; when I asked the front desk they told me to wait until the cleaning service got to my room, I had to dry off with a dirty wash clothe. The batteries in the remote were nonexistent and the tv didn’t work. Breakfast was disgusting not just taste but by experience. I think I would have been treated better at a motel 6

Every thing is terrible.I do not feel safe in my room. The door lock feels very insecure, and I keep waking up feeling that someone is outside my door.More importantly, the front desk had no staff around 9 p.m., and the entrance light keeps flickering, which made me feel unsafe. I don’t feel comfortable or safe staying here. And I can't request a refund for the remaining nights or to cancel the rest of my stay.

Pros: The staff was lovely and so helpful, which was so welcome after a long day of driving. The room was so clean and the bathroom was spotless! The waffle was very tasty and the ice tasted filtered!! The location was very close to Japanese food and shopping. Cons: The breakfast was mid. The hotel room was cool, but the heat was out in the hallway which was stifling. The beds were ok. Overall: For the price, this is a great hotel.

Paid for a deluxe king suite. Room was practically empty, sofa and coffee table were missing. Room smelled like mildew and smoke alarm was removed. If that was not bad enough, at 2:30am, the front desk lady knocked on our door, and continued until I finally got up and answered, just because she wanted to verify my name. I had already checked in with my license, reservation, credit card… but she had to wake us up at 2:30am to verify my name. If all of that isn’t enough, for breakfast they only had bagels, toast, and sausage patties available. We asked about eggs and she said there is an egg shortage. I know they are more expensive , but there is not a shortage. My wife’s mother had suffered a stroke and my wife had been sleeping in the hospital chair for three nights with her. This was the closest hotel to the hospital and was meant to give her a much need break and good nights sleep. Unfortunately, it ended up being more trouble than it was worth. One star is being generous.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the room size was nice. The room smelled like humidity but we are from CO so maybe that is typical. The breakfast is free which is a plus but the options and food was really subpar…. Nothing healthy, hard boiled eggs, not other styles of eggs, the meat was greasy, bread was basic slices bread, no fruit, etc. they have recycle out but they don’t actually recycle.
