I stayed for 6 nights in the pods, which gave a decent sense of privacy. It was absolutely necessary to have the fans on, and they are quite loud, so do bring something to cancel out the noise. After reading other reviews on here, I was happy to find that the showers were cleaned daily (around 2pm I think, if you want to adjust your timing for cleanliness). It seems unnecessary to close down the common areas during nighttime. When sharing rooms with more than ten people, it would be nice to have somewhere to eat and drink other than the reception. Having said that, this place gives you your moneys worth, and has a better breakfast than the cheapest regular hotels in London.

The hostel is located right near Kings Cross station and the Russell square area. Which is a convenient part of London. The staff are helpful and hospitable. The hostel has a good kitchen and common area. Over all its definitely one of the better hostel in London that I've stay at over the years. I will be returning again soon.

Reception were helpful and clear at check in. I booked a Pod dorm and was the best experience of any hostel dorms I've stayed in. It was reasonably comfy and felt very private once inside. Other guests were quite respectful with noise. The only minor is that I had Pod 13 which is next to the sink and the person didn't move when I wanted to get out so had to squeeze past and wait until they were done until I can get to the locked drawer underneath. I didn't use the facilities but their common areas are quite large, along with basement kitchen. The staff send messages out with meet ups for any travellers which is good. The bathroom and showers seem to be kept clean regularly too. Would definitely book here again when travelling alone.

Great stay in a fun and clean hostel environment. Clean common areas including bathrooms and showers, free luggage storage when we left on a side trip for a couple days. We, as 2 adults and our 10-year old, stayed in the 4-bunk private room during both stays. The room was cramped and we kept hitting our heads from the lower bunks, and it didn’t have AC (did have a fan). Regardless, I would stay here again and look to stay at more hostels in the future.

The hostels is close to King's Cross and the location is really well-served day/night. I booked a room for girls (4 beds) and I tried the breakfast. The room was really small, only for sleep (no chairs, sofá, tables, wardrobe), no space for walking. Anyway, the hostels has a lovely kitchen and common area, where you can stay and relax instead of staying alone in the small bedroom. You can cook with other guests and make nice friends like I did. Staff was very nice and welcoming, cleaning is okay. This hostels is really cheap and nice if you travel alone. I was in the firsf floor and I think toilets and showers are not enough, too many people. The washing machine was out of service for all my stay, it means that I had to buy extra clothes because I couldn't wash mine ones.

Booked a room with fewer than 18 beds but was given a bed in an 18 person room. Toilet was pretty gross, dormitory room had a funky stale smell, but showers were clean and available, staff was good, location convenient.

The hostel is about a 5 min walk to St Pancras and Kings Cross Stations. As a solo female traveller I felt safe walking to and from the stations and hostel. There’s a small co op right beside the hostel and a costa coffee on the other side, a Salisbury grocery is only 3 minutes walk away. There are a lot of dining options within a few minutes walk from the hostel. I stayed in a 4 bed female only dorm. At 5ft 10 the bunks were too short for me and the mattresses were absolutely terrible. Huge divot in the middle of the mattress. Very tight space. There was a ton of hair all over the floor when I first checked in. I’m not sure if that was because I was first to check in and did early check in and the housekeeping staff didn’t fully clean it? Slightly run down but all in all it’s not terrible. If the mattress was even halfway decent I’d have given the hostel a higher rating. Good atmosphere.

Small bed, my feet hung off. Very public if you're on top bunk. Very hard to get into top bunk, when someone is, it shakes the entire row of beds. Sounds wasn't an issue with plugs. Shower nice. EVERYTHING is an optional extra : towel, shampoo, padlock for locker.. etc.

The room was so small that the bunk beds took up almost the entire floor area, leaving almost no room to get into and out of the room. Locks were not provided for the under-bed lockers and had to be purchased at the front desk.

Enjoyed my stay. Booked a pod bed, felt super private and cozy. Well lit inside and outlet was right there. Staff friendly and helpful. Towel rental not expensive. Locker big enough for small carryon and bag. Quick walk to train, bus stop right in front. Probably got lucky with other guests in the shared room - everyone was quiet and respectful. Only issue was substandard wifi. Would book again.

I had a private room, but it didn't have a curtain and was overlooked by an office (let alone the need to make the room dark to sleep in). I managed to cover these up myself, but not sure how you can rent out a room like this. Bed was comfortable and Kitchen is great, but no curtains spoilt the trip.

Me and my husband have been there for 3 nights. A cozy hostel near King's Cross train station and underground, staff is really kind and has many services. Rooms are well heated and you can choose the level of heating. Kitchen and common areas are well equipped and in the morning you can have breakfast prepared by the staff. Only "negative" thing is that some areas like bathroom near rooms is not so much soundproof, but no dramas. So, hostel well recommended!

Enjoyed my stay. Booked a pod bed, felt super private and cozy. Well lit inside and outlet was right there. Staff friendly and helpful. Towel rental not expensive. Locker big enough for small carryon and bag. Quick walk to train, bus stop right in front. Probably got lucky with other guests in the shared room - everyone was quiet and respectful. Only issue was substandard wifi. Would book again.

Reception were helpful and clear at check in. I booked a Pod dorm and was the best experience of any hostel dorms I've stayed in. It was reasonably comfy and felt very private once inside. Other guests were quite respectful with noise. The only minor is that I had Pod 13 which is next to the sink and the person didn't move when I wanted to get out so had to squeeze past and wait until they were done until I can get to the locked drawer underneath. I didn't use the facilities but their common areas are quite large, along with basement kitchen. The staff send messages out with meet ups for any travellers which is good. The bathroom and showers seem to be kept clean regularly too. Would definitely book here again when travelling alone.

Great helpful staff. This is not just for young people, it’s suitable for families and older age groups. Have stayed several times in females only room and although small it’s good value. Good location, walkable from Kings cross . Will be returning soon . Julie

Rooms are well heated and you can choose the level of heating. Kitchen and common areas are well equipped and in the morning you can have breakfast prepared by the staff. Only "negative" thing is that some areas like bathroom near rooms is not so much soundproof, but no dramas. So, hostel well recommended!

I stayed for 6 nights in the pods, which gave a decent sense of privacy. It was absolutely necessary to have the fans on, and they are quite loud, so do bring something to cancel out the noise. After reading other reviews on here, I was happy to find that the showers were cleaned daily (around 2pm I think, if you want to adjust your timing for cleanliness). It seems unnecessary to close down the common areas during nighttime. When sharing rooms with more than ten people, it would be nice to have somewhere to eat and drink other than the reception. Having said that, this place gives you your moneys worth, and has a better breakfast than the cheapest regular hotels in London.

The hostels is close to King's Cross and the location is really well-served day/night. I booked a room for girls (4 beds) and I tried the breakfast. The room was really small, only for sleep (no chairs, sofá, tables, wardrobe), no space for walking. Anyway, the hostels has a lovely kitchen and common area, where you can stay and relax instead of staying alone in the small bedroom. You can cook with other guests and make nice friends like I did. Staff was very nice and welcoming, cleaning is okay. This hostels is really cheap and nice if you travel alone. I was in the firsf floor and I think toilets and showers are not enough, too many people. The washing machine was out of service for all my stay, it means that I had to buy extra clothes because I couldn't wash mine ones.
