The indoor pool is fabulous. Open really late. Not even sure it closes. The hotel itself was pretty nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The balcony was a nice place to hang out during the evenings when the sun goes down. Overall this was a very pleasant stay and I’ll definitely stay again in the future.

The king room we had was good sized and clean. We liked the balcony except for the a/c unit exhaust blew hot air onto the balcony. We didn't like the inconvenience of having to wait until 8 am to eat breakfast at the Buffet Restaurant next door. But the price was very affordable for the hotel. We would probably stay there again. We didn't use the pool, but we were told by other guests the water was very warm.

We left early in The evening as the bed was very uncomfortable, air conditioning didn’t work properly and noisy. The whole hotel smells awful, pool water was nasty, water slide needs to be replaced along with the patio furniture that is in the area. When we were leaving there was a section of the hallway that was flooded with water. The couches in the hallway need to be replaced. The smell of cigarette and pot was everywhere. Very disappointed for my grandson who couldn’t enjoy his birthday present probably as he wanted to go on the water slide more but the full grown adults and children were taking it over from the smaller kids. At some points there were 3 full grown adults coming down the water slide together.

The rooms are old they are renovating there is some rust around the old tubs Beds are just basic full size on a metal frame Location is amazing!!!! A lot of construction on property. Room was clean staff was very helpful with all questions. Easy to get to and for price was good. I normally take my fifth wheel but coming from Ohio where it snows then is sunny didn’t want to risk damaging my camper if had to stay would stay again

It was a great stay..we have stayed many times before.. we reserved 2 rooms and 1 seemed cleaner with no carpet and the other room with carpet had a large stain that seems like a little carpet cleaning would have got it up.. but other than that we love staying here..my kids like the pool there as much as a large waterpark

Didn’t stay in this hotel due to cleanliness so take with a grain of salt, perhaps it was an off day. Receptionist was friendly although they didn’t find me in the system at first and almost had me switch rooms. The room once I got it, was definitely old school which was expected however super filthy. There were over 6 stink bugs in the room and few dead flies on the floors. That alone caused me to request a refund and find another place. It seems the balcony door is not well sealed and due to the cold temp, bugs were coming in.

I love this hotel! The only issue we had was the noise coming from other rooms… faucets running, AC noises, people talking… I’m not sure anything can be done about that but otherwise we loved the hotel and will be back! Might bring ear plugs though. :) the place was really clean and we felt safe! That’s really all I can ask for!

Pigeon Forge was great but Spirit of the Smokies Resort was absolutely horrible. Sewer backup in tub, dirt behind bed, dust on chairs, cockroach in bathroom, door frames rusted. Too much more to mention. I have pictures as evidence. Was called day of arrival and told that power outage was scheduled for last night stay. Did not happen.

The building and all amenities are broken down. Hotel smelled like mold and mildew. Carpets were very dirty. Parking looked very sketchy and no food in building so they gave out vouchers to next door breakfast buffet which was gross and coffee and water was 7.50 a piece. Pool and game room was very dated. Overall. Go down the road and stay.

I will say that the beds were comfortable. However... There was a fairly sizeable splotch of what looked like pasta sauce between the head of my bed and the side table. There was what looked like mold on the back of the balcony curtain. There was rust on the bathtub metal fixtures, and in the refrigerator. The covering for the light in the bathroom was flat out missing, exposing wiring, and the outlet I used sparked alarmingly for one phone charger. I'm sure some rooms offer more of a view, but ours literally faced a wall that went above everything. Most importantly to me, though: the shower was not hot, not even for a minute. Just barley warm enough to feel warm. To me, a shower and a bed are the two most basic functions for a hotel. The internet was also very laggy. It seems they very much need an update/remodeling, as well as the ability to functionally serve as many travelers as they take in. The biggest plus by far was the pool. The slide was fast and fun, and the water was a nice temperature.

The pool had a nasty ring on the inside. So bad people had scratched their name around entire pool! Then someone puked in the pool. The pool was the only reason I booked this place. We greatly enjoyed our brief stay and the staff were excellent. Room was very large with a full-size refrigerator and stove, quiet, and comfortable. The only complaint I had is that the bathtub uses an unusual mechanism for activating the shower (there is a ring under the faucet that you pull down once the water is running). We did not visit the pool, so I cannot review it, though it did seem popular during our stay. Wood Fire Grill is located across the parking lot and weekend breakfast is included with your stay (you have to pay for drinks and of course tax. My wife and I had a soda apiece and paid roughly $9, which was a bargain for the amount and quality of the food. We will definitely stay again

Stay was really good BUT they put us in a room with a view of the dumpster area. Literally 5 feet from it so real outside view at all. Shower water pressure was horribly low. Parking was decent and hotel was in good area with many things to do around.

When we were taking a shower on the 1st night, the water never got hot and the water pressure was horrible. We stayed on the 5th floor, last room on the floor. I do understand it takes a while for the hot water to travel , but it only got colder and zero water pressure. In the tub, it was worse than a kitchen sink faucet. We called the front desk and a maintenance guy came up and said it’s bc we were on the 5th floor and the last room. Nothing was done . Didn’t offer us to move to a different room. So, the next night- we tried showering at a different time and it was worse. After my daughter and me , my husband and sons water was ice cold at the end of the shower. I advised the front desk at checkout I was not happy about the water in the bathroom : no pressure and not hot. All they said was “sorry, I’ll get that checked on”. Not being able to have a decent shower, makes for a bad overall experience. I will probably never recommend this hotel or stay here again.

The mattress was hard and the bed framed creaked every time we got up or down. The shower curtain wouldn't stay in place so water sprayed onto the floor. There were tiny, curly black hairs in the tub and on the floor. There was no light over the sitting area which made it impossible to read or write there. The best thing was the full breakfast but you had to go to the restaurant next door to get it.

We had an extended weekend getaway and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It was clean, quiet and close to everything and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast that was offered free of charge at the WoodGrill Restaurant was excellent. We will definitely be staying again.

The front desk agent (a lady that had piercings dark longer hair) was incredibly rude and was very condescending when I would ask questions and had us wait 9 minutes after booking online to check in because we were trying to get a better rate. Bed comforter was gross had someone else’s hair and food on it when we arrived and the lobby bathroom had no toilet tissue I didn’t have any after using the restroom

Great disappointment the hotel was very nice until I got into the room a big hole cut into the bathroom ceiling water dripping everywhere call maintenance who never arrived go down to the desk for help and was told to put the trash can under the leak you couldn’t use the bathroom in peace for water dripping down on you for 2 days I tried speaking with a supervisor I was told she would be in soon each time I went down about 20 times until this day I still haven’t spoke with anybody I have already left I would like to be compassionate this wasn’t the best family vacation

Stayed here for a concert being performed onsite. My one and only complaint was upon check in when I asked where the show was going to be, neither of the young ladies knew anything about it. It was resolved later so no big deal. Room was clean. Hot tub was great. Free breakfast next door was better then expected. Its not a 5 star restaurant, folks, so dont go in expecting one. Very convenient to all the attractions and restaurants. Staff was friendly, and other then the concert snafu, very helpful. Had no issues with noise from neighboring rooms as others have had. Coffee in lobby was surprisingly good. Would definitely stay here again.

You will not like this hotel. The rooms are extremely outdated and dirty. The front desk staff clearly don't want to be there and are not friendly or kind. My young son asked the front desk for a plastic spoon and they told him to "go across the street and buy one" When you are checking in there is a long and confusing process where they want you to sign and initial about 10 different rules. They also give you an odd lecture about ordering food from other places. According to them, Papa John's is the only pizza place that can deliver to your room and if you order Domino's you have to go across the street and stand in the cracker barrel parking lot and wait for your delivery? I'm going to add some photos of how gross the bathroom was on top of everything else. There are no nicetes. The doors did not lock. There's not even a mirror in the bedroom. Hard pass on ever saying in this hotel again. Update - I'm trying to add photos and the app won't let me.

We requested before arrival a cot, confirmed need of cot, and paid up front for the cot at check in. Guess what they forgot to bring to our room until 11pm, our cot! We waited 40 min on the staff to bring this and the lady at the front desk acted like she could care less! She was acting like I should be patent when she had told me at 10pm (when we returned from Dollywood) that it would be a few min. 20min went by I phoned from room she was so rude, saying it was on the way 20 more min went by and I went to the lobby. I was ready to sleep completely ridiculous!!!!!! To the manager check who was working Friday Oct 11 at the front desk at 10pm -female ..also the noise level was out of this world that night coming from the room beside us. Walls can’t have any insulation in them. I only stayed here bc it was cheap and I now I know why!

This hotel is central to everything. Sunliner Diner is across the street. Easy to get to and lots of parking. The room had a kitchenette. Clean room but well used. Its not fancy but its nice for anyone including families. Enjoyed the pool in late afternoon, less crowded. The hotel has a restaurant close by and we ate a good breakfast there. We had an extended weekend getaway and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. It was clean, quiet and close to everything and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast that was offered free of charge at the WoodGrill Restaurant was excellent. We will definitely be staying again.

The property offered great ambience which is next to the Hollywood Titanic and Disney in Pigeon Forge. Also the upside down building is walkable. The best is the breakfast buffet. I haven't had a great breakfast buffet in USA even in any high end hotels from Mariott, Hyatt etc. This was totally unique. I do not know whether they offer the same throughout the year or it was for the 4th July..the pool was super although we didn't use it but looks great. Overall plesant experience and my family enjoyed the whole trip...

We really enjoyed our stay here. We hung out in the pool. We played cards in the lobby. From the 5th there was a nice view. The staff was kind. The breakfast buffet next door was actually pretty good. The hotel is conveniently located. The bed wasn't a comfortable as some others and the room was slightly dated. But I'm a stickler on cleanliness and being treated kind. And those 2 things i received. Also free breakfast is always a plus. So overall, a 9.5 from me.

For one the breakfast is not free!! Kids are half price and they charge for drinks!! That’s a lie. The carpet on the 4th floor was soaked from a water leakage that was never cleaned the three days we were there. It smelled like mold. Two of the three days we had no hot water to shower or bath. The towels were like steel wool brushes they provide for the rooms. Overall this place is not worth the money.

(Still worth it) The pool was a huge draw but if it rains they do close it down during the storm. I do recommend and really give 4.5 starts, mostly because of the pool closing since it is enclosed.

I asked for room to accommodate 3 people while booking. This room showed as accommodating my request; showed a sofa in addition to queen size bed. Sofa is not a sleeper and was just a kid-size love seat, does not fit even a 12 year old. I had to pay extra at the hotel to be able to have proper sleeping arrangements for my family. This was deceiving. Breakfast is a multi-step project - you get a card at check-in, then you take a card to front desk between 8 and 9am only and stand in line to show the card to get vouchers, then you go to a restaurant in another building and stand in line again to check in at the restaurant and pay for your drinks (even if it is just tea, coffee or juice), and only then you are seated. Food is very greasy and no healthy options aside from the mushy fruit. Would not recommend this place.

We came for a long weekend and absolutely loved this place. The staff were awesome, the rooms were great. Perfect location. The only thing I can say negative is that the advertised free breakfast is not free. They give you vouchers for the restaurant next door. Which by the way is very expensive and it is cafeteria quality food.

Arrived and found no breakfast vouchers offered from Monday through Friday and room look like pigs lived in the carpet and beds are cheap looking and squeaky and pillows are the worst and the receptionist acted like we were idiots and didn’t know how to book a hotel they did give us 10% off and change our room at least they tried to do something for all the inconveniences
