It was a hot day/night, and when we checked into this hotel we were told the A/C was broken and 2 big floor fans were placed in the room, which made it very awkward for 3 people to move around the room. Our room was on the 5th floor which is one of their higher floors, and heat rises... The windows do not open and our room was a sweatbox all night... blowing hot air around. By the look of the HVAC construction work that was going on, they knew days in advance that their system was being replaced /repaired and failed to tell us beforehand (so we could cancel and make other arrangements... or at least make our own decision to stay or not). (That said... IF the A/C had been working, it was a relatively modern, good, clean place conveniently located.)

A firealarm that was running for 30 minutes during nighttime is unconvinient of course. Safety is the most important matter, but the firemen said all was under control. No appologies, information or discount at check out. Staff seems indifferent!

My room was at the 5 th floor. One lift was not working through out my three day stay there . One that was working was too slow and busy and information screen was not working which meant that after pressing the button to call the lift you will get no indication if it was coming or not . I waited on average 5-10 min each time I had to go up or down .

Overall good. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to order food the QR code provided and on the second night someone screamed from 10.30 p.m. to 3 a.m...apart from that the room was good even if a bit claustrophobic. The window was sealed and the room was very hot. Thank goodness there were 2 fans. A/C wasn't available.

The room was very clean. Unfortunately the lift smelled of weed very strongly. The TV picture was pink and the a/c didn't work meaning a rather uncomfortable night. The alley to the side of the hotel where it exits onto had people drinking and smoking weed so not pleasant

The rooms were so hot no one could sleep and this was the same for all staying as the air conditioning is broken and they do not intend to fix it. They offer a fan but it is the least effective fan in the world. It clams to have bar but that closed and does not offer breakfast. Their was dirt everywhere.

Booked the last room available which was a mobility room. The room itself was nice, but the bathroom had mould & fixtures were falling off the walls. The soap dispenser did also not work which wasn’t ideal. The hotel also had no A/C when staying which meant we had to use a fan, but even that didn’t help with the heat. I do feel like the hotel should have warned us prior to booking!

No one came into the room for three days to clean. The hotel is a hotel for welfare recipients I don’t have an issue with that, but they need a case worker staying as well to help these vulnerable people. I paid a lot for no service and one towel.

There was water damage on the ceiling, the tv was somewhat broken, and the strip on the bottom of the bathroom door was hanging half off. Staff was friendly and helpful. Elevator felt very unsafe and was questionable. Property often smelled like cigarette or marijuana smoke.

We spent there 3 nights. The hotel has an excellent position i.e., only a couple of meters from the Pier Head and the Docks. The room was spacious with a clean bathroom. The only complaint we had was with not very clean towels we had been given which they immediately changed after our notification.

Welcomed with a smile. We left our bags with them until check in. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Its in a great location for The Albett Docks and Liverpool 1. We didn’t eat there as we were meeting friends but otherwise we would have done as we heatd other guests saying the foid was good.

We stayed last night for the river if lights. The room was clean and comfortble. The ability to change the room temperature is great. Our room was only set up for 2 people. However there was 4 of us. They were quick to.provide extra towels, cups, coffe and milk.

Stayed here for two nights and was given an assessable room with a wet room. I hadn’t ordered one or need one and did tell the staff but they said it was available so I had it allocated. Room was fine and large. Wet room was ok but of course a lower wash hand basin with no plug was the downside. My room 501 was adjacent to the lift and I could hear that going up and down all night. Air conditioning did not work and windows could not be opened. Room cleaning was every three days or at end of occupation do my room didn’t get cleaned. Kettle was too large to go under the bathroom tap so had to fill my mug up and fill It that way. However the room charges were very reasonable and staff were very nice. Shame restaurant seems to be open in the evening only and only order to be taken away. Shame there was no breakfast option though loads of local places to eat, Great location s few minutes walk to the Albert docks and 15 from Lime Street. James Street Station is literally next door to the hotel

Received wrong room twice. Air conditioning poor. No lobby. Day staff mediocre. Key stopped working and when asked for a new key they didn’t even ask for ID to ensure the room was mine. Many homeless outside and around property. Not a great stay at all

Hotel location and facilities are great but our room had broken Air Conditioning (room temp was 28 Celsius) and the phone to contact reception to report was broken. Maintenance could not fix either issue and reception could not find us another room after I resorted to going down a few times from the 4th floor. I asked if they would refund if we cancelled and looked elsewhere, but the answer was 'probably' depending if she could speak to her boss so we weren't happy to chance it just in case. We were offered fans but these were just very noisy and simply pushed the hot air around. I suppose at least it drowned out the noise from other guests on our floor blowing a whistle at 1.30 am. It's rare to spend a night with so little sleep because of the heat at this time of year, but with no Air Con the room was like a mini oven. Both facilities and Customer Service were not acceptable even for a budget hotel. Such a pity because we had good stays here previously. With so much competition locally, you would expect them to want our custom more than they did.

I would recommend this hotel. The room was very clean, especially the bathroom. It's very convenient too. It's very close to the town centre and pier area. We used Q Parking in Liverpool One was 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. Hotel very pleasant. It next door to James Street railway station if you dont want to use your car.

Stay was excellent but let down by a male receptionist who was constantly, not sure how to put it nicely so will just describe it as it is, grebbing behind the counter. While i appreciate people get colds and have to do this, a private place would be better. The area immediately outside the hotel (snicket to the right) seemed to be used by groups of homeless as a meeting area. Felt a bit unsafe

Booked the hotel due to its vicinity to Pier Head as we were going to a concert, 5 minute walk back which was great, only 5 minutes from Liverpool One car park too. Variety of eateries nearby which was good for us. Room was spotless with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc provided if you needed it, hot drinks facilities, iron and hairdryer too which was useful. Overall a really good value room and would definitely stay here again

Very convenient, really close to Ducks. Around the corner from The Cavern Club and The Beatles Museum. You may find lifts to the upper floors. It's the nice and cozy. The mattresses were very comfortable and the temperature inside was perfect. The staff was very helpful at the time of keeping our luggage after check out for us to visit the city. I really appreciate that. Some details as no towel for hands and not good coffee in the room were the only things I didn’t like. The rest, was really fine. I definitely book again when I were in Liverpool.

Although there were USB ports in the room, there was an issue with the power as they did not charge either of our phones. We also had not lights in the morning, someone had to come to the floor and reset a switch. No breakfast option available. Otherwise, clean and well located however I’d have expected a better experience given the price.

Spent 2 nights at the Hotel, couldn't fault it. Staff excellent and very helpful . Room a good size and very clean. Our only quibble they don't do breakfast but on the plus side there is a Weatherspoons just over the road.

I thought that it was very clean, light and airy, hotel reception very helpful, the only thing i didnt think was the best was access to food, they didnt have much on offer and bein December, wintry and cold i thought they should have had a better menu Even though there are plenty eateries around the hotel we didnt feel we wanted to go out every time in the rain
