This hotel is excellant could not fault it. Its clean and modern. All the staff we had interaction with were polite and friendly. 3.5 hour time frame in which go and have breakfast. Check in is the usuall 3pm however checkout is not until 12 noon. It may not have parking but it is easier enough to check in and drop off your belongings before driving to the car park which is a less than a five minute walk back to the hotel, you can get a discount currently its £13 you pay for 24 hr parking.

Great room. Real downside is the number of lifts. For such a large hotel there are not enough and to allow a broken lift to remain unfixed for over 24 hours is poor management

Just opposite the Royal University Liverpool Hospital so expect some ambulance noise at night. But otherwise, quiet and clean rooms. Decent gym. Had private transport so connectivity not an issue for me.

Really good stay and staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar did run out of drinks and they needed more staff on the bar at a busy time as I waited 25 minutes for a drink. The restaurant staff were really nice and the food was great. Comfortable stay and a great breakfast

Hotel/Rooms were fine for my 4 night stay, had to move after 1st night due to the ac unit leaking water outside bathroom all night … a little disappointed that the bar didn’t have my drink ( Captain Morgan ) and when I took my soda to my seat, was asked to move as it was allocated for a private party !!

Great new hotel; terrific value. Comfy bed; nice bathroom large room. Superb tv: just the right size. LOVELY COCKTAILS from friendly barman. Breakfast outstanding value and superb hot items (4 types of eggs!) Bus to centre is frequent for uphill return. Nice walk to great restaurants and Philharmonic Hall. No mention of any expedia VIP extras but we were given early check-in which was very helpful.

Great location to explore this wonderful city. Hotel is fresh and modern with all the amities you require for a short stay. Gym has some nice prices of equipment and was well maintained.

Reception staff helpful and kind. Restaurant provided excellent breakfast and evening meals. The gym was small but well laid out with everything I needed. The room was good but lacked a normal table or desk and instead had a weird lounge sofa (totally unnecessary). There was nowhere to eat or use a laptop in the room. I also wish I could've opened a window in my room. The AC was impossible to work out and I much prefer fresh air. The shower was excellent.

When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a friendly young chap who was very polite and professional. We dropped our case off in the room which appeared clean and modern. We then left the hotel to be with our daughter who we were bringing to the university . Arrived back at the hotel about 23:00 and retired to the room upon pulling the bed sheets back we found the sheet was stained with blood .you could see the sheet had been washed but it's not what you expect to see. Housekeeping came about 15 mins later and changed for a clean one . Upon check out I wanted to say I wasn't happy but the receptionist was pre occupied with the cleaner who was hovering around the reception desk . We never received a appology for our inconvenience. The dirty bed ruined what otherwise was a nice stay.

I have stayed many times. However this time someone vomitted in the lift and it was not cleaned properly. The liftbwas not closed off and stank. The cooked breakfast was not hot and was cold before it could be eaten. Disappointing

Very clean room (aside from some carpet stains from previous guest getting hair dye on the carpet!). Warm welcome from staff, spacious room with comfy bed. Great breakfast choices, and loved being able to have a glass of wine on the terrace in the sunshine!

Good hotel stay. The hotel itself is welcoming, well presented and in a good location. The hotel room wasn’t as clean as I would expect especially for a 4 star, which was disappointing. The hotel restaurant was good as was the food. Breakfast was great.

Fabulous hotel. Only negative comment was the unfriendly, unwelcoming, forgetful barman! Man with long braids who clearly didn’t want to be there! Also, the shower drain was completely blocked with hair so the water didn’t drain away. Not very nice having to clean that out!

Brilliant hotel - excellent service, rooms are big, spotless and have great views over the city. Location was perfect, just a short walk into town and good value parking next door. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had and great value. Highly recommend!

I was greeted by a very friendly host who did everything he could to make sure I could get into my room slightly earlier than check in time as I was on a stag doo and needed desperately to get changed to get into town. He also gave me all the info I needed to get into town. The room was immaculate and the rooms are very very quiet and I was fortunate enough to have an amazing view and could see Anfield.

Excellent standard of hotel. Really liked the room, dinner, breakfast, atmosphere. The only minor negatives were the amount of listed TV channels which didn't work, no radio stations and our AC didn't seem to function although we didn't mention it to staff. Thoroughly recommend.

The hotel is clean and the area is good but there is a big issue with this hotel they don’t let you control the room temperature even though you have the controller in the room they actually sits the temperature so you don’t have any control on it and that’s really not comfortable

Room was really spacious. Trundle bed mattress for the children was like a hard floor! Room temperature was very cold, even when adjusted. Brown hairs where found on pillow and in the bed on arrival. Breakfast was lovely, however not enough table and chairs for everyone.

What ruined our trip was the theft of my pyjamas from our room, presumably by the cleaning staff. Despite repeated calls to the property nothing was done, costing me more than the cost of the room. The reception staff seemed to care nothing about our situation, promising to investigate and call and then not doing so, forcing me to chase the matter.

Dreadful check in process, told the receptionist that we didn't want an accessible room and that is what we got given. Sockets hanging off the wall, told same receponist who couldn't care less. Poor customer service with a argumentative tone, everything seemed an effort. The carpet looked like it was needing replacing, but I suspect it's called trendy and up keep with the modern hotel styles, lighting werid. All on or all off.. Bed Comfy, TV couldn't be returned so and to stick with limited options, some not in English and some with white lines. Won't be rushing back.

One of the friendliest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The staff were brilliant, in every area. They couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the breakfast choice was amazing. The location was a pleasant 20 minute walk from the city centre (or only a short Uber ride away) and located adjacent to the university campus. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a stay. An enjoyable and relaxing break, well looked after by the excellent staff team.

Lovely hotel and have stayed here previously and would stay again in the future. Breakfast was very nice, if a little expensive, if you are not a big eater but great choice as lots of hot or continental options, including some delicious fresh pastries. Room was very clean and comfortable bed, so no complaints from us. Hotel is around 20 minute walk from Lime Street station, but is a little uphill so may be better to get a taxi, if any mobility issues, especially if weather isn't great, as we had on our trip. There is a large multi storey car park a couple of minutes walk away, if travelling to hotel in car so nice and convenient. Over all, would defintely recommend hotel.

The hotel is bright, welcoming, very quiet and above all a very convenient location for walking to the hospital and major landmarks of the city. It felt a safe environment, with all staff being most helpful. For those arriving by car, there is a large multi-storey car park located nearby.

This is the 4th time we’ve stayed here, and we will be back again. Rooms - particularly on the upper floors - are good. Hotel well located and walkable to the city centre. Staff v helpful and friendly. I also spent part of yesterday in the foyer working on my laptop. Wi-Fi good and the staff running the coffee shop were v friendly

Walkable from the train station, about 45 minutes walk from Anfield (we attended a gig). Felt quite safe around the area. Missing obvious places to eat nearby, but we could’ve investigated that more or asked at the reception so that’s not a mark down. Clean, modern, friendly staff, decent stay!

Beautiful hotel. Very clean. Great views. Great staff. Great food. Absolutely ideally situated for the hospital. (Liverpool Royal). Right across the road. Could see the hotel from my hospital bed! Definitely stop there again. Entrance is just beautiful!

Very helpful and welcoming staff. I forgot to pack a toothbrush and a staff member kindly brought one to my room (thank you!). The only slight downside was hot items for breakfast could have been warmer. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented, but breakfast starts at 7.00am on a Saturday and at 7.05 bacon, eggs etc were only luke warm. Perhaps everything is being put out ready for service earlier than it needs to be on a Saturday?

Used the hotel for one night for a football game. Easy to get to from Lime St station (20 mins) and an easy enough walk to ground (30 mins). Not much around immediate area but didn’t mind that. Had a burger from their afternoon menu when I arrived and tbh, it was not great. Tasty but the burger (the beef bit!) was tiny which was disappointing. However, the breakfast was excellent, 10/10 for that. Overall, happy with stay and would consider booking again
