Hotel staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good. Shouldn’t have to pay for the laundry

The elevator was down while we were there and it was so bad we had to call down to get the elevator sent up to us.

Parking isnt the greatest, other than that its a great place to stay! Staff was great and checked in on us several times. Very friendly! Breakfast was pretty standard- zero complaints!

We absolutely loved our stay! The staff was amazing, one of the managers, Hannah, went above and beyond, she even came up to our room to try and help me figure out the tv for my son with his switch. Then sent a text later asking if everything was going well and if there was anything else she could do (she deserves a raise!) Breakfast was great, lots of options, even full on sausage and cheese breakfast sandwiches. Their pool was under renovation but we were able to go across the street to their sister hotel and swim there. If you’re in the Layton, Utah area I definitely recommend staying here. They even let us check out a little later because I had woke up with a migraine and it was taking all I had to get up and going.

Pool was closed, Wi-Fi didn’t work

Building design is long with only one elevator at one end. Building should have 2 elevators or one in the middle.

Room was clean, however bedding was super old. Blankets were thin and uncovered, pillows extremely lumpy, felt like we were sleeping on 20+ year old bedding. Asked for towels at 9 am, came back at 6 and still didn’t have them. She told me ‘they’re in the dryer’. What? Do you not have enough towels for extra? Pool area is awful. Surrounded by tile, like super slippery tile that belongs on shower walls or something. My son slipped and fell, completely bruised his back. The amount of chlorine in such a small pool and spa was completely unnecessary. We didn’t even go back because it practically burned our eyes and skin. Breakfast was the worst we have ever had in a ‘continental’ style. Eggs were nasty, fake bacon, juice was out, French toast was who knows what, the only thing that felt eatable were the waffles and hard boiled eggs. Would have rather stayed at an air b n b and made our own breakfast. We definitely won’t be staying at a Hilton property again.

Pool was super cold and had way to much chlorine. And hot tub was too hot. Made it really hard to enjoy.

Overall the motel was slightly above average. My big complaint is that the pet fee was $75/night-Almost as much as the room. We had 1 older well behaved dog. Totally ridiculous.

Had a fantastic stay. The staff was great and very helpful, especially since we ended up arriving extremely early (1:00 in the morning) because we traveled early because of weather. We were willing to change rooms at regular checking but they put us in our room that we had reserved. I would recommend this property very highly. The only downside was the pool was closed because of maintenance but didn’t detract from the stay.

The stay was frustrating although the front desk was helpful with an early check in, unfortunately, the first room assigned was being worked on by maintenance and all counters were dirty and the phone didn’t even work. Had to call the front desk and they reassigned a new room however, the bed was tiny and the floors weren’t vacuumed. Sadly I will not book here again.

Home2Suites are typically very nice and always clean. This one was disgusting! We arrived at 11 pm and it was just for the night. Otherwise we would have been gone! Things that are fairly simple to fix had just been left dirty. I will never stay at this particular hotel again! Zero stars from me. Tried to upload photos but the site wasn't working correctly.

My biggest issue is that when we checked in, we request daily light cleaning (change used towels, empty trash) but no one came to clean. At a week into our stay, i requested a deep cleaning (change bed linens, clean bathroom, vacuum, etc.). The linens were changed but not the dirty bed spread, the bathroom trash and trash in the living/bed area were also emptied, but the overflowing kitchen trash was not. The bathroom was not cleaned at all. The sink, counter and mirror were still dirty and I didn\'t dare look in he toilet. Also, the dirty towels were taken and 3 bath towels and a couple of wash cloths were replaced but no floor mat, hand towels or dish towels were given. The soap was also not replaced (we still had broken bits in the dirty soap dish) and no spare toilet paper was given either. Also, the "quilt or comforter" that was on the bed was completely threadbare with clumps of stuffing in various pockets.

I was disappointed in our stay as a Hilton Honors member. Our televisions did not work in our two room suite when we arrived. The evening front desk attendant was able to assist in fixing one tv on our first night but the bedroom tv was stuck on one channel. The floors in our suite were filthy. Our feet left a very visible brown footprint in the shower. I took a picture of it for the attendant to see and she immediately attempted to have housekeeping clean our room again. The breakfast was unsatisfactory and much of it was picked over with an hour left. The attendant wasn’t refilling the items that were low or out as we had to ask for multiple items such as milk and bowls to put cereal in. The two front desk attendants we spoke with did their best to make our stay more enjoyable but their hands were tied. This property doesn’t employ a maintenance staff on the weekends so they were unable to fix our bedroom tv completely. The concern exhibited by the two desk clerks is the only reason I am giving two stars. Otherwise, our experience here was worth no more than one star.

Hotel smells bad the second you walk in. Poorly kept up, sheets were dirty and stained, floor hadn’t been vacuum for who knows how long. Mold in the bathroom and rooms were just dirty. At the “breakfast” food was so questionably looking we skipped. Smelled sour

The first room did not have a pull out couch, which means 2/4 people had no where to sleep. The second room had the face of the air unit hanging off of it and the air would not turn on at all. Once we were in the 3rd room option, we were okay. The room was plain but clean and functional. The breakfast was good quality and the lady at the front desk was kind. Ultimately, I am not a fan nor do I dislike the hotel.

What I liked about my room is that it was big and everything felt and looked very clean. I really appreciated the staff working Christmas Eve & Christmas so that I was able to have a place to stay while in town. The kitchenette was great to have even for my short stay. The supplied dishes, tea and coffee maker in the room was useful even for a short stay like mine. I was on the top floor and it was very quiet which I was really grateful for.

Everything was pretty average except for the mattresses on the beds. I probably would have gotten better sleep on the floor. For an extended stay hotel it's hard to imagine anyone sleeping more than a few nights on those uncomfortable mattresses and not developing back problems

Nice suites, well appointed, comfortable. Staff was lovely.

Stayed here for 20 nights and aside from the noisy neighbors, everything was awesome! Friendly and helpful staff, great location near a lot of shops and restaurants. The walls are kind of thin and there is a Air Force base nearby but if you can tolerate the noise of neighbors or jets, I highly recommend this place to stay!

Quick stay after landing in Salt Lake and going to a near by amusement park before we hit the road for a bigger road trip. The hotel is conveniently located to restaurants and there’s a target near by. Our room also had a kitchenette set up which was nice and were kinda bummed we’re only staying a night. Room was big enough for the three of us.

My TV didn’t work, the iron didn’t work, my hotel room keys needed to be changed 3 times because they didn’t work. My shower was lukewarm.

We loved this property. Our suite was spacious and had a kitchenette. It had a full size fridge, a dishwasher, a garbage disposal, and a deluxe microwave. You cal also request a burner for additional cooking. The kitchen is stocked with plates, silverware, cups and glasses. Toaster to, and more. The room has wonderful beds and lots of storage. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. Staff was helpful and friendly. We loved the breakfast, many options from which to choose. We highly recommend this property!

In general, the experience was good, I didn't like that the jacuzzi didn't have hot water, the beds were very uncomfortable, limited TV and the room cleaning service was earlier than expected and woke us up.

We love this hotel brand- always clean, roomy, friendly staff. Have stayed several times and it is always a great experience.

Kathy, Adina and all staff were outstanding. They represent your brand professionally and all are prompt to answering questions and providing room items when needed. Kathy is truly a great lady staying on top of the breakfast goodies!!! She is friendly with everyone and loved interacting quickly with our grandkids. Keep hit Ming people like these!!! 👍🙏👌❤️

Stayed here for 4 nights. At check in, Boston was very kind and helpful. My experience with the rest of the staff after that was less than impressive. I only mention that because so many past reviews stated great customer service. That wasn't my experience. During our stay, the pool was closed for remodeling however there was a note saying we could use the pool at the Hilton across the street, so that was nice that it was an option. Our room felt dirty. There wasn't noticeable dirt or grime, but it just felt very surface clean. Like it really needed a carpet cleaning and a really good scrub. The beds were terrible. Our pillows were all just lumps of cotton. The comforter was the same way. The pull out sofa bed got nick named the bouncy bed. It was so springy and almost unbearable to sleep on. The creamer supplied for the in room coffee was completely solidified. Most certainly had expired. The shampoo and soap covers on the wall in the shower both fell off when we tried to get soap out. The water temperature fluctuated so much that we couldn't take a consistent warm shower. There was only one washer and one dryer working during our stay which caused some frustration when we needed to do laundry. We had to wait for others to finish and come remove their clothes. I would not stay here again unfortunately. There are much newer and better maintained hotels in the area. The location is good but that really is the only plus that we experienced here.

The property was well kept with nice size rooms and a hard bed if you like that sort of thing but the breakfast left much to be desired and the staff seemed to often be invisible. There was no one at the front desk anytime I went to ask a question, including for check in. Most of breakfast time there were no staff members visible and the dairy fridge was often not stocked and available only on request or out of stock all together.

Had to be out up in a hotel while our House was getting remodeled. We were there for a week. Safe area for sure but there were a lot of things at the hotel that could be worked on. I like housekeeping coming regularly. And the breakfast was not very good.

It was in a great area, the staff was friendly

Everything was perfect. The food was perfect. The room was perfect. The mattress was good. The water was good and clear and clean. Shower was perfect. The service was amazing and above and beyond. Mountain View and the pool was perfect

The outside of the property needs to be more visually stimulating in my opinion. No flowers, not inviting, very plain. Hard to find front doors. However, good location to restaurants.

Great place to stay while attending a convention

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at this property. It is very quiet and convenient for our needs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. And our dogs like it too!

Friendly Staff, Great place to get away from busy streets. Room is nice and clean and everything is working. I will definitely stay here again.

Great stay, staff were all incredibly nice and tons of things within walking/driving distance. Would stay here again in a heart beat. One note for tesla drivers is the closest charger is in SLC, so charge accordingly lol

Stay was nice. Hotel was a bit older but comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots of options. The pool wasn’t heated which was a bummer for an indoor pool but overall great place to stay

We enjoyed a few hours in the pool one morning. It was a little chilly, but the hot tub was hot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free breakfast has a lot of variety and healthy options. We have stayed here before a few years ago. We will likely stay again.
