The stay was fine. Just not enough for me to be loyal. Next time I’ll probably try a different hotel. Small things like musty smell when I entered room. Room service very late first day and not done. Next day didn’t refill toilet paper or Kleenex so we ran out of both by the next morning. Exercise room AC out and so too hot in there. Wasn’t a bad experience just nothing memorable or that made me want to go back. I also hate it when hotels don’t recycle.

We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. Rooms seemed a little dated and the bathroom was a little dirty. The pool was also closed over the weekend which was a bummer for the kids. Other than that it was nice and comfortable. Breakfast options were great.

The hotel was fine if you are just passing through. Room was clean. Only downside was the size of the parking lot. When you are coming back from a vacation and your vehicle is full of stuff you don't really want to have to park in a movie theater/restaurant parking lot

Not a lot of parking on-site. Common areas such as lobby and breakfast room were very warm. Unable to stay there for very long which made it difficult to sit and eat

This hotel is in a nice neighborhood. Our room was clean and comfortable. The top dryer in the laundry room didn’t ever get warm. I wasted $4 trying to use it.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the Best Western plus in Layton. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and we loved the little kitchenette! The front desk personal was incredibly helpful letting us get a late checkout. We will definitely be staying at other Best Western Plus hotels on our travels. Thanks for a great experience!

Staff very helpful, room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous especially because there is a whole case of gluten free options! The grassy walking path right on the property is lovely. My main objection was the room's pervasive smell of floral-scented cleaning products. It is disturbing and no amount of airing got rid of it (and leaving the window open introduces a separate problem of loud freeway and airplane noise). This is not the best place for the smell- and noise-sensitive. The use of disposable plastic is excessive, including tiny cosmetic bottles and all utensils at that lavish breakfast. Kudos to staff, welcoming but unobtrusive --they made me feel very comfortable.

In the hallway to my room and in the room itself, there was an overwhelming pungent odor that smelled like a combination of years worth of people smoking and then the hotel trying to cover it up with some sort of toxic chemical cleanser. Were it not for the strong odor, the stay would have been tolerable; the bed was comfortable and the room appeared relatively clean.

So gross. Don’t stay here. The gentleman at check in was nice enough but the original room checked in smelled like a bug bomb was just set off, the chemical smell was so bad you could literally taste it. The sheets were dirty and disgusting. Front desk moved us to a second room, the tables hadn’t been wiped down, torn sheets and behind the mattress was full of hair. Just don’t, pick anywhere else. I was counting the hours to check out of this place

Service was excellent at the front desk. The hotel was a little aged but in beautiful condition. I LOVED the cheese and honeycomb station at breakfast!! The only thing I did not like was the noise & talking from other rooms next door and above. I just turned on my meditation app to block it out.

Check-in was long. There was only one person working the front desk and a long line of people but the room was clean and the maid staff was friendly and thorough. My only complaint was that the internet connection was terrible, if it worked at all. It was slow but worse than that, it constantly kicked you off (I mean within seconds to a couple of minutes of getting on) and you had to get back on - only to be kicked off again. Since being online is vital to my work, I wonʻt be staying here again unless they do a fantastic upgrade!

Everything was great except our bed. It was sunk a little in the middle and we both woke up with back pain. Bathroom was awkward as well. The bathroom door swung right into the sink. Made it difficult to put makeup on if someone was showrting and wanted the door open. Other than that it was great!

Enjoyed most of the stay - 2 negatives were the sound transmitting from hallway into room and the poor water flow/pressure in the shower. Service was very good, amenities were very good and cleanliness was excellent.

Despite a wonderful young man , check in was a mess as either the BW or Expedia had not reserved our room After 45 minutes we finally checked in, unpacked our belongings and were told we had to change rooms. After this poor experience the rest was quite good.

Hotel has a policy age of 18 for check in on Expedia, which they are responsible for maintaining accurate information on the website. Reserved and paid for a room for our 18 year old daughter while traveling. Upon arriving, will not rent to anyone under 21. Hotel's response to their conflicting policy information on Expedia vs. what they will allow at check in was very non caring and really no interest in helping resolve the issue. Would not recommend this hotel in any circumstance and honestly our family will NEVER stay at a Best Western as a result.

Nice hotel. Bit of a miss communication with staff. TV not working and they were changing shifts and new shift thought it was fixed. But manager came right up and got it working. Great breakfast my girls loved the fresh honeycomb. Would stay here again.

We went to Lagoon Amusement park for the day, it was 15 minutes from there. When we finished late, we got to the room and were loaded out in 10 minutes. Then the breakfast was awesome the next morning.

I enjoyed staying at Best Western Plus Layton during my daughter’s dance convention at the Davis Convention Center. It was clean, everything functioned appropriately, & it was overall a very nice hotel. The continental breakfast was perfect. We were excited about the pool but didn’t end up having time to use it. Best part was that the hotel was less than a 10-minute walk to the convention center so I didn’t have to drive over multiple times every day & fight for parking. It also wasn’t excessively crowded & noisy in the hotel because the majority of the attendees for the convention stayed at the Hilton so we got to avoid much of that chaos while saving money.

After attending the airshow at Hill air force base, we stayed the night at the BW in Layton. A very convenient, quiet and safe place to stay. Multiple dining options in the area as well.

It was a little tricky to find the property, its got other businesses and parking lots around it. It's a nice facility. Check in was quick and easy. It's away from the freeway, so it was nice and quiet. The room was large, the bed comfy. The breakfast was a notch above normal, with a fresh yogurt machine and lots of toppings. We'll stay there again.

Paid a little extra to stay at this hotel verses others that were available because of the positive reviews of the food and they didnt lie! Great breakfast, loved the waffles and toppings, and the yogurt was amazing. Plus buscuits and gravy, worth waking up for.
