Paid more than other similar hotels in the area because it had a water slide for the kids. Upon check-in I was told the slide and the pool were out of service. No pool or slide for the duration of our family stay and no offer to compensate will not stay here again.

They really promote their water slide. That was the big draw for our family. Please know the waterslide has VERY LIMITED HOURS!!! I even called the hotel prior to booking to make sure that the pool AND waterslide were open year round and while we were there. They assured me it would be. To our surprise it was not. The kids swam in the pool and it was fine but we had been hyping up this slide all holiday and we would not have stayed there otherwise. The hotel was just okay and not super clean.

The rooms are nice, clean and large. Staff is friendly, HOWEVER, we are still awaiting a refund because the hotel did NOT disclose on the Expedia website that the waterslide was only open limited hours Friday-Sunday morning. We arrived Sunday afternoon with a very excited 7 year old to go down the waterslide. The waterslide was NOT open ANY of the days we were there. We drive FOUR hours to get away for a quick couple night vacation and had our girl specifically pick THIS hotel for the waterslide, which we were unable to use AT ALL. This is the WHOLE reason we planned this entire trip, so to say we were discussing and our little getaway was ruined is an understatement. This is FALSE ADVERTISING as it says NOTHING about the very limited hours of the waterslide being available on the Expedia app. We WILL get a refund, even if we have to go through our credit card as we’ve screenshot and taken pictures of everything.

Hotel was clean and rooms were good. Only downfall was we booked this hotel because of the pool and slide for the kids. Pool is very cold and the slide is only open on Friday sat and sun. If we would have known that we may have booked elsewhere

The pool slide was closed and hot tub, which seems to be the case everytime we stay here. They did not tell us until after we checked in. Very disappointing! Kids staying below us were unsupervised. They were loud past midnight. Called the front desk and she was unsure she could do anything about it. Not restful.

The room was clean. The breakfast was good. My only complaint was the pool area. The pool area was filthy. There were bandaids on the floor and chunks of hair. The hot tub was green. My son did have fun on the slide but it was athletes feet waiting to happen.. I was so disgusted with the chunks of hair on the floor that I almost vomited.

Our original room was filthy. Floors weren’t mopped or vacuumed. Wall behind garbage can had food/drink residue. Requested new room. Carpet wasn’t vacuumed. Pullout bed had crumbs. Pullout bedding had to be requested and didn’t include a pillow.

I was disappointed. Called the front desk before reserving to check on the poor, I was told it was all functioning, they didn't bother to tell me that the slide was only open on the weekends. So I booked the room and then found out on arrival about the slide. My kids were so disappointed, the slide was the only reason we booked at this hotel. The showed in our room had someone else's hair stuck to the wall, guess no one bothered to clean our shower. Also the sink in our bathroom hardly drained.

Front desk staff was very nice. Breakfast was decent. Our room was not clean enough. Toothpaste from prior guests had to be scraped off the bathroom counter. The mirrors had clearly been wiped with a dirty rag and were horribly streaked. The base of the floor lamp hadn’t been dusted in recent times.

Wi-Fi in room 105 is terrible, it really was inconvenient for the amount of work I could not do in my hotel room had to go to the lobby in order for the Wi-Fi to work. Staff was great, but the Wi-Fi was super inconvenient.

The stay was fine. Definitely wish I would have paid attention when I booked though. There isn't a microwave or fridge in the standard rooms. Weird I thought bc it's pretty common anywhere I've ever stayed. Also I booked this hotel specifically bc it had a water slide. Which is only open on the weekends and there is a height limit. Overall it was a good stay though.

The staff were awesome and the breakfast was good too. The water slide is only open Friday evenings and the weekend which kind of defeats the entire purpose of booking this hotel. The sound proofing of the rooms is non existent. You will hear every word spoken in the next room which makes it very difficult to get children to sleep. I can't say enough about how excellent the staff were though. Everyone we interacted with was super polite and did their best to make our stay a good one.

Staff was excellent. Extremely friendly and helpful. Pool and water slide were fun for the kids. However there was no fridge or microwave in our room. The room was next to the mechanical room and is was VERY loud all night long. The breakfast left something to be desired.

The property and room were great. I was on the main floor right next to the front lobby and was worried that it might be noisy. It wasn’t. Did not hear a thing. The breakfast was very good. My only issue was we had prepaid through Expedia, and they charged me the full rate upon leaving. I did not realize it until I got the international notice from my CC a company. They had a new person training and they made a mistake. However it will cost me more n the end once the conversion takes effect.

Could not check in until 6pm because, as I was told by the front desk, they were running behind. 6pm seemed excessive to be able to check in. No half and half available for coffee as they were waiting for their truck. Pool towels not available, unless you went to the front desk to ask for them. I've stayed at this hotel before and not had any of these "issues." I know these things seem minor, but there are certain amenities/services that are expected. Usually this is a good place to stay for families. The staff was ok, but not as friendly and welcoming as they have been in the past.

Stayed for a hockey tournament. Was extremely disappointed upon arrival that the pool was closed. At no point was anything offered as compensation for this loss. Choosing a hotel with a pool is a big deal for kids and team building, so, to not have that or be offered any discount or compensation is really poor customer service.

The hotel was overbooked and unable to get us a room. After two hours of waiting with my family we left. Room paid for but that didn’t reserve our room? Apparently there’s a new GM but he was two hours late for his shift so the front desk lady had to help all the families walking in with the same situation. Room paid but no room. Front desk lady was kind and I felt terrible for her. GM do better.

Decent hotel. Sink doesn't drain very well. The bad part was a drunk supposed patron of the hotel tried to bum cigarettes right in front of the hotel and then followed my wife into the elevator. Several other sketchy people hanging around too.

A little pricey but a nice hotel. They only provide fridges and microwaves in the suites, but it wasn’t too much more to upgrade and get those amenities, as we needed them. The pool and waterslide were VERY busy the weekend we were there but I’m assuming it’s not always like that? (However, take note that the waterside is only open evenings and mornings on weekends.) Breakfast was good with lots of hot and cold choices, but also very busy and not enough seating at the time we were there. We were on the 4th floor and it was very quiet and comfortable. Good location off I15, close to shopping and restaurants and a movie theatre.

This was a different situation. I had reservations for a different hotel, made on Expedia. I got an email the day of our reservation that the hotel couldn’t accommodate our rooms because of a mechanical problem. They called and found a room at Holiday Inn Express. I had not stayed at this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised, by the staff and their willingness to help us out. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb! Check out was painless! Our overall stay was very close to a 5 star rating!

The lady working breakfast did a great job keeping up all the waves of people. I loved that she wore gloves and kept everything clean and tidy. So guests are gross!

I know it takes a lot of work and effort to run a hotel specially during Holidays but I’ve been to a few HI before and this recent experience was way worse. Problems with WIFI signal entire stay, no towels at the pool ( I was advised there was a shortage of towels) , room phone not working e no milk at the breakfast for 2 days in a row. Also no food refills at breakfast and no cleaning at the breakfast area. Ray at front desk was the only highlight of the stay. He was very nice and helpful .
