Really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was well set-up, kitchen was well equipped and it was very comfortable. Other than some minor maintenance that could be dealt with it was great. Corridors could do with being made more appealing but that is a minor thing really. Common kitchen area, games areas, and BBQ areas were excellent.

The layout of the room is bedroom, door, bathroom, door, living room. This was an amazing layout for traveling with 2 young kiddos! We also loved the pool and spa, and were so thankful for the early morning and late night hrs ♡ The grounds are under construction so it looks a bit wonky, but its kept clean and organized. The hotel was so clean and comfortable, with a great small kirchen. The proximity to Palisades Village and the Shirley Canyon hike is perfect- we never used our car the whole trip :)

We had a great stay at this property. Close to the slopes and frequent shuttle service. Area for snow play in courtyard. Clean apartment. Minor issues: Fridge froze our food and only 1 of the 3 hot tubs was in service.

I had a very comfortable room. It included a nice size bedroom, a nice bath, and a nice kitchenette with an oven top and microwave. Perhaps the only difficulty was that the spa is opened for constricted hours now 20 47 Fitness Center same idea. Also, to get from my room to anywhere else, including the front desk in the spa. When is the walk outdoors and needless to say come in with you, that is pretty cold, so I have to bundle up even go to the spa, swimming pool. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. There is a good shuttle that takes you from the hotel to the village/ski area/base. The price is reasonable.

Unit was updated with a bigger fridge and bathroom vanity and the bed was comfortable but not motion transfer reduction. Free shuttle to and from the hill is a 3 min drive so you only wait maybe 5-7 mins for the shuttle. Tuesday afternoon cider was delicious and the prizes were a nice touch as well. Highly recommend this hotel.

Good value for money in this area. The kitchenette was well equipped for such a small unit, everything was clean, hot water was hot. The walk down to the village was easy (in normal footwear), and the shuttle (for when you are in ski boots) ran every 10 min.

Old property that hasn't been updated since perhaps the 80's -- bathrooms are old, furniture is old, etc. We've had hit or miss on cleanliness on this property: this time it was squeaky clean, the last time is was cleaned just okay. The staff folks were really nice, but most of them weren't actually helpful. Walking distance to the village if you must, and a very helpful shuttle when you don't want to walk.

We found trimmed hair in the bathtub and the place was under construction and the hotel failed to mentioned that or to emphasize it at least. The people next to us kept complaining about the food we were cooking in our room. Place overall was a 7 out of 10 though because the receptionist had our back and the surrounding area was beautiful. Another con is that every restaurant is 1 hour away and anything past 9pm is close. We had to drive to reno for canes chicken lol

A really nice luxury hotel that's inexpensive off-season. The staff are excellent. Rooms don't have air conditioning and it takes much longer than expected to cool the room with a fan in summer. It took until about 11:30 PM for my stay. A less cheap fan would have helped. It's quiet at night so open windows are fine. Everything was clean and in good condition. I was unable to use the pool area due to unexpected service being needed.

Quick get away with the wife at the Olympic Village Inn. The property is older and currently being upgraded. However, the room was very clean and comfortable. We had a very restful stay and enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The hotel also provided a free margarita happy hour during our stay.

Had a great spring skiing week at Palisades Tahoe. The property has some age but mostly maintained well. Our small one bedroom timeshare condo is tight with an odd layout: access from the public balcony hallway at the bedroom side. Two sharing one bed can get by but any need to use the sofa bed would leave no elbow/leg room. The same can be said of the outdoor hot tubs but the vibe was generally cheery with the good spring weather. The staff are helpful and low key.

I loved it! It’s really close to palisades Tahoe. It was less than a minute drive (going from one parking lot to another). The room was well equipped with cooking supplies. I did not have to worry about the fire alarm going off when cooking because of how strong the vent worked! The shower is perfect for couples because there’s a shower head on both ends and each side can adjust the temp! Both bed and pull out couch was super comfy!

An old school resort. It is great. Be aware that the layout can be awkward with the bedroom as you walk in. Then the bathroom. And then the living-room/kitchen/pullout bed. Our kids slept in the kitchen which made it hard to use but it is surprisingly well stocked to cook on a stovetop.

Very friendly staff and extremely helpful. We decided to extend our stay because a storm and the staff was able to accommodate us by moving other bookings around so that we didn't need to switch rooms. Premises were clean and the seemingly 24/7 snow removal was amazing. We received over 4 feet of snow in 2 days and the lots and driveways were always cleared. The crew seemed to be working around the clock and snow was being removed in the morning so that guests could head out without delay. The driveways around property were clear while the roads around it were a mess.

Overall the stay was great and the booking as advertised. One issue I did run into was less than stellar communication. I was sent a message by the inn thru Expedia asking me to call for check in instructions. When I tried to call the answer provided it went to an answering service. When I didn’t receive a call back by the afternoon I called again, and again was sent to an answering service. The agent at the answering service would not listen and was constantly interrupting or talking over me. It wasn’t until I replied to the message via Expedia that I got a call back and was able to obtain check in instructions. When I called later that evening to let the front desk know we’d be there later than 11 I was told I’d have to call back when I arrived for a code to get the key to our room. Overall communication was very challenging prior to arrival and made everything much more involved than I would have hoped. Once we were checked in the stay went very smoothly. The location was great and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Even with the bumpy start I’d likely stay again.

The property was nice, but we were left without power for about 11 hours, our roon phone had no power and nobody was at the front desk all night. We had to shower in the dark and had no way to charge our cell phones all night. Once power was on i spoke to maintenance about how this problem could have been fixed sooner and he did not have an answer. Ive written to the hotel about this issue and have yet to receive a reply. The place was amazing and our stay would have been perfect if we had had power in our room. Thanks Ramon

The property is surrounded by the beautiful nature. We loved the views from our balcony. We loved our room and the staff was very nice. Another cool thing was there is walking distance village that has restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back to Olympics valley in the near future

Such a great location, excellent value, kitchen had everything we need, staff was super helpful. 3 min van to the slopes of 5 min walk. Mountain market near by as well as many places to eat. Pool & hot tub were kept at good temps and working through our stay. Well be back!

Good location (walking distance to the Village), quaint décor, plenty of storage space, lots of supplies (towels, paper goods etc.), convenient free shuttle to the lift area. Pool and jacuzzi were open in may. Would definitely stay there again!

The layout of the room is bedroom, door, bathroom, door, living room. This was an amazing layout for traveling with 2 young kiddos! We also loved the pool and spa, and were so thankful for the early morning and late night hrs ♡ The grounds are under construction so it looks a bit wonky, but its kept clean and organized. The hotel was so clean and comfortable, with a great small kirchen. The proximity to Palisades Village and the Shirley Canyon hike is perfect- we never used our car the whole trip :)

Quick get away with the wife at the Olympic Village Inn. The property is older and currently being upgraded. However, the room was very clean and comfortable. We had a very restful stay and enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The hotel also provided a free margarita happy hour during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Olympic Village Inn during the third week of April, 2023. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The staff was incredibly friendly from the shuttle bus driver to Palisades Tahoe to the front desk reception to the management. We took advantage of the weekly free ski guide and which was very fun and helpful for getting to know such a huge ski resort. We also enjoyed the wine tasting provided that night where we met some of the other friendly guests staying at the Inn. Would love to return to Palisades Tahoe and the Olympic Village Inn in the future.

Unit was updated with a bigger fridge and bathroom vanity and the bed was comfortable but not motion transfer reduction. Free shuttle to and from the hill is a 3 min drive so you only wait maybe 5-7 mins for the shuttle. Tuesday afternoon cider was delicious and the prizes were a nice touch as well. Highly recommend this hotel.

We really liked the layout. There was a Jack and Jill bathroom between the living room (with queen pullout couch) and bedroom so we had a door to shut on each side for privacy. I liked the balconies. The kitchen was well equipped. The staff was very friendly. We loved the free bike rentals and nearby hiking trails. The only downside is there is a lot of construction on the property this summer. It got more and more difficult to get to the pool and use the amenities. There is also no restaurant or market onsite but it is a close walk to the shops and restaurants in the rest of Olympic Village.

We had a great stay! Great facilities, free coffee, great jacuzzi, heated pool and close to wherever you need to go. It was also very quiet during the night. Good hotel. Cannot say anything negative.

The property was older but in clean and maintained condition. Wi-Fi was good not great. Condo was well stocked although the coffee maker was dirty and unusable. Coffee was offered in the lobby. A quiet environment. Restful.

Stayed in the one bdrm with kitchen. Plenty of space for two people to spread out and everything was very clean. Rooms don't get much sunlight but one of the two balconies gets morning sun. They have done some beautiful landscaping of the grounds and it makes the experience of staying there much more pleasant.
